Yep. He was lost. Why did this keep happening to him? Why was he cursed with always finding a way to get himself lost? Jake looked around, hoping there was a way to get back into town. It was starting to get dark out. The townspeople warned him enough of the dangers of being out and about at night. Sure, he was a train warrior, but he was not used to fighting such monster yet. He had only arrived in Aledon a month or so ago. Yet the sixteen year old was still not used to this new life of his. No one wanted to train him and he couldn’t find a job, so to past the time he wondering around aimlessly. Which is why he was stuck in this situation. “Now what am I gonna do?” The kid asked himself. He was starting to lose hope in everything. Everything wasn’t worth trying anymore. He missed his family and wanted to see them again. If it was possible he would rather go on living without his memories. It only made Jake fell worse every passing day, knowing that if did leave his family’s manor, none of this would have happened.
The sixteen year old sat down on the snow, leading against a tree. There was no point in trying anymore. No one wanted to train him, so what was the point of even trying to become a knight. He wasn’t able to become one back in his world, so why would it happen here. At this point, Jake didn’t care if he would freeze to death or even get killed by some monster. Nothing really matter to him. Everything he ever loved was taken from him. He lost the hope he once had in everything and everyone. Tagged: Nova Notes: Sad Jake Words: 297

Nova had woke up in a snow bank in a terribly bad mood. Her shoulders ached and she stood up carefully happy to find her bow and sheath of arrows swung around her shoulder. She flicked ehr tail and streched her muscular legs. Carefully she trotted over the deep snow banks balancing carefully. Prey was scarce and winter and right now the last thing ont he mind was were she was. Her feet lifted high above the snow and her bow was loaded ready to shoot at a moments notice. A quick movement grabbed her eyes and she turned up a tree and shot a squrriel right out of the tree. It fell and she galloped over catching it before it fell to the ground. Carefully she removed the arrows and patted the squrriel. "Thanks Buddy." She carefully placed the squrriel in her sheath. She was searching around for a place to start a fire when a moving human figure caught her. She loaded her bow quickly and shot it to the tree next to his head. "And just what do you think your doing?" She swung her bow over her shoulders. Nova strecthed her arms and then narrowed her eyes. What was he doing in her forest? Sure she'd just gotten here but, it was hers. This kid looked deeply confused. She sighed and closed her eyes waiting to hear this kids sad sob story about his life. Just what she needed. if he thought of attacking her she could get her bow faster than he could draw his sword. This kid better think twice before attacking.

Nova clenched her fists. "It looks like your about to tell me your long, unfortunate, sob story." Nova really didn't care. She doubted that this kid would have somethign interesting to say. "This is my forest." Was he stupid? As soon as a centaur had settled into land it became theirs. Much like how a wolf or horse would claim land. She'd fight to claim it if she had to. "Is that a sword? Bit plan ever think about customizing it?" She wasn't trying to be nice nor was she being nice. If she had something to say she said it. "So what makes you so sad right now?" She could tell by is expression he wasn't happy. She turned away and began to pcik up some branches also picking up a black rock. Carefully as if he wasn't here at all Nova began to build a fire. Taking the black rock and another rock she struck it a few times. She knelt down into a comfortable position. She skinned the squrriel and began to cook it. She worked in a methodically way. Respect the squrriel and foliage around her. Centaur never took more than they needed. It was a serve crime to do so. To hunt for sport and not survival. She looked up from the roasted squrriel. "You hungry kid? I'm Nova you are...?" Really he could be the kign ro a prince. All were the same to her which is probably why she liked it in the forest than int he fancy part of a centaur village. Nova mastered swords with her father's help. She really wasn't fond of it so she used a bow and arrow. Then again everyone liked different weapons.
