John had been here for a little while now, wherever this was. A few days maybe? He stopped keeping track, it was getting pretty tedious. Besides, it didn't really matter how long he was here as long as he knew where he was. He still had yet to lay eyes on any signs of actual civilization, which may have been troubling for most, but it was quite normal for John. He was, for about two years, one of the only four humans in existence, and explored exotic planets alone with nothing but his thirst for adventure driving him forward. Okay that was pretty corny, but it fits so lets go with it. He'd been wandering around the forest for at least a day, watching as the sun rose and feel, camping out in the branches of trees. He was pretty lucky his God Tier jammies were magical, or they probably would be very dirty by now!
He had just woken up about ten minutes ago, stretching and resting on one of the thick branches of a great oak. Or at least, he thinks it was an oak? It was an oak, lets roll with it. He hopped down from his perch, looking around. He really had nothing to be worried about, honestly, but you never know. He could be attacked by a giant Shale Golem! Or one of those Trolls Ann told him about! That wouldn't be good, especially if he was asleep. Death hurt, and no matter how many times he could come back, he would never be immune to it.
With no actual destination in mind, Egbert started traversing the underbrush, heading north. Or maybe west? South? Geez, he needed a compass. He wasn't exactly a boyscout, and the lack of their being a forest on LOWAS meant that he was pretty out of his element. But he was god tier! He was the strapping young gent of this journey! Rather dashing too, if he did say so himself. Wait, doesn't dashing and strapping mean pretty much the same thing when used in this context? Ugh, he was probably still groggy and stuff.
Standing underneath another large tree, John stopped walking and placed his hands on his hips, his large hood trailing off behind him. He wasn't wearing it though, there wasn't really any need to. He sat cross-legged on the ground, flipping out his WALLET MODUS and removing CASEY from her temporary card-home, returning the wallet to his...wherever it went when he wasn't using it. Really, he had no idea where it went. The odd yellow salamander spazzed around on it's feet, blowing a bubble from its mouth.
"okay casey so we're still in the middle of nowhere. but i think we're getting closer to a town or something! at least i hope so because it feels like i'm on an episode of lost. haha, i'd probably be john locke. get it? JOHN locke?" Casey, of course, did not get it, but bobbed up and down happily as John rubbed its head. It didn't matter if he had to travel across the whole world, as long as he had Casey he would never be alone! But it would be a lot better if his friends were to come out. Especially Jade - she had to be around here somewhere, right? John looked around. He had a lot of ground to cover but he would stay here for now since there wasn't any rush. Or was there? He needed a map. ...And a portable DVD player.[/blockquote]

She'd been taking a brake from her mothers non-stop chat about how to do her hair up correctly without the pesky strands of hair hanging down. She actually liked it that way though. In her hand was her journal. She had a quill in the same hand. She spotted a blue bird she recognized as a blue jay. Of course it wasn't written in her journal. It had already been discovered. "Hey little birdy what are you doing all the way up there?" she said. The little bird chirped rapidly for a while and she smiled and continued on. Across her shoulder a bag rested. In the bag she had an extra quill and one more bottle of ink. Her mother urged her to keep a compass if she insisted on keeping a compass in case she got lost. She never got lost. Never. Melody continued walking on and herd a voice. "John Locke.Get it? JOHN Locke?" she heard the finish of the sentence. She turned around a corner and say a boy younger than her sitting talking to something. In what was this? His pajamas? She let out a smile and took a step closer. "Hey there. What are you doing out here, all alone?" Melody looked at him. He had messy hair which her mother would have definitely scolded him for it. She'd never seen him before and was unsure he was from around here. "You're not around here are you?" She really doubted it now. He was dressed very differently than the others in Aledon.

John had bumped into a few people in his short stay here, but he never expected someone to bump into him in the middle of a forest! John blinked, looking at Melody. A girl? She was pretty, too. Sweet! Okay, Egbert, time to get your act together. Casey was obviously excited to see a new face, rapidly glancing back and forth between John and Melody, blowing bubbles the entire time. John scrambled to his feet, adjusting his glasses that nearly fell off. He felt pretty unprepared - if it had been a bear or something and not Melody then he'd probably be dead now. And so would Casey. Oh, sweet Casey!
"oh uh...well i'm not really alone. casey over here keeps me company!" He once again patted the frantic, yellow-orange lizard on the head, causing it to settle down at bit (or at least close its mouth) but it still danced on its feet like a tap-dancer that just couldn't keep the beat in check. Keeping a beat in check is a pretty hard thing to do, you know. If that was even a thing that could happen. Casey was good company, though. It would be cooler if she could talk but she can't soooooooo that was sort of a challenge but at least she listened. She was like a large, living teddy bear - except she was a lizard and always seemed to be dancing in spot. Even for a youngling, though, she had seen a pretty large amount of the world(s) and had traveled with him - and even Rose - for quite some time. He was so proud. John blinked, crossing his arms. "that obvious huh? no i'm not from around here, or at least i don't think i am. this place seems like earth but i don't think it is, i just woke up here like a few days ago i think. i'm john by the way." The Heir held his hand out towards Melody in a friendly manner, hoping she would shake it. This would be his second handshake in this new world - something only John would keep track of. Oh dear, if Dave was here, you can bet he would know all about this. He would probably find some sort of ironic factor in it, too. Or okay maybe not but his mind was just wandering right now. Who was this girl, anyway? What was she doing in the forest? John had a lot of questions but knew better than to ask them all - he didn't want to disturb one of the first few people he's met![/blockquote]

Megan listened to him blabber on and smiled. He could sure talk. She looked at Casey. " What kind of animal is that? Do you mind if I record it in my journal?" She gestured to her journal. She watched as the lizard-like animal blew bubbles and she chuckled lightly. "Casey is pretty cool. Can't say I've seen too many Caseys." She looked at him. "You're in Aledon's forest. Which is not too great of a place to be alone and un-armed but, I'm here right?" she shrugged. She couldn't see any weapons on him but, he probably had one. She did too. Tucked in her cloak was a dagger in case of danger or a animal throwing a rampage. She had heard the many tales of people gobbled up by wolves, or kidnapped by witches. She doubted them. "Yes it is easy to tell. If you want to get into Aledon you're going to have to look..." she gestured to him. "More this time period." She said. She watched as he thrust his hand out to her. She shook his hand. "Nice to meet you join I'm Melody. Melody Grandere." She said with another smile. "May I ask why you're out here? Are you lost?" she said. If that was the case she could bring him into Aledon there was not much she could do after that. She then realized she had asked too many questions. "Sorry about flooding all those questions to you. I'm a bit talkative." She said smiling at him.

Hunter was in her Mask and full predator armor and clothing... she had only a single weapon now... Her Wrist Blades. She had to turn all her other weapons in to the king. She very reluctantly agreed... but in turn was the must secure vault for her alien tehc weapons. She was now on a partol in the same forest that she visited very often. She was jogging on a newer trail that she picked out not long ago. She was listening to laud music via her Mask's build in HUD system when she suddenly heard a male and a female speech closeby. She walked towards them lowering her music almost totally. It was a good thing, only she hear the music. As she walked towards them her 8 feet 4 inches tall height towaeed over the two people. " Hello there... so this place has two more new comers. " She nodded and vaved to them. Her body was very exposed, and she smiled as she pictured them staring at a very tall and pretty muscual girl who has her legs and arms and some of her torso mostly naked. And not to meansion her alien tech clothing and armor and mask. She looked down at them and then spoke again. " I am Rek'aa by the way. " She added smiling from beind her mask... unfortunatly when she was masked... none of her face was visible.

She wanted to log Casey in her journal? Well, John didn't see why not. He was pretty curious as to what species of lizard or whatever she was, and Melody was obviously much more, ah, well suited for this. John wasn't exactly an expert when it came to wild animals, but Casey wasn't particularly wild. At least, not anymore. She was sort of his adopted daughter he guessed? He liked to think that, at least. Dad would certainly be proud. He retracted his hand after Melody shook it, raising an eyebrow at her questions. Hmm...
"wow uh i guess you can, i mean i don't think casey would mind. she doesn't particularly mind a lot of things. she's cool like that." That, or she just has absolutely no idea what's going on. But so did John, so it evened out. "oh don't worry, i have a weapon. i'm fine, i'm a god tier you know." Not that he expected her to know but he had to tell her, just in case she was a player as well. So far he hadn't met any others, but there may eventually be some and John would like to meet them and just learn about what the hell was going on here. He was in 'Aldeon's Forest', which meant that the land was called 'Aldeon' or the forest was owned by someone named 'Aldeon'. It was probably the first one, though. Okay, cool, he's got a name. And...did he really need new duds? He liked his god tier jammies, they fit snug and were probably magical because he only has one pair and over a two-year span it never tore or got too small. Seriously, you gotta dig this stuff, it's pretty cool. But what exactly did she mean by 'time period'? Was he in the past, or the future? Probably the past considering his, er, colorful history, which only meant Dave was probably involved. Or at least, he thinks so. He's the one with time powers, anyway. He began to answer again, when someone new approached him. "well i am pretty lost, yeah. i was trying to find a town or a city or something, bu-" His eye was caught by a very tall, very muscular, very...revealed woman in a cool looking helmet. The alien design wasn't as much of a shock to him as her height and...appearance. Okay so he had to admit that was kind of hot but he didn't want to look like a fool in front of the girls. Wait, he almost forgot about Casey! He covered her eyes with his hands, causing her to flail around for a bit. She didn't need to, uh, see this. "...wow. nice to, uh, meetcha, Rek'aa. i'm john, and yeah, i just got here a little while ago." He did his best not to stare. His best. But it was really proving to be harder than he thought. Jeez, why was everyone around here a girl? He hadn't seen a guy since he got here. ...But he wasn't exactly, er, deterred by that or anything. This was quite a scene, though. He might have to put Casey back, this was no place for a young girl like her![/blockquote]

She listened to him. "God Tier?" I assume that's a title of yours?" she asked as she raised her eye brow. She reached for her journal and drew a image of Casey in it. She recorded that Casey blew bubbles. She then heard another girls voice and turned to her. She was dressed oddly and she was masked. She didin't know what to think of this girl. Was she a hunter? It looked that way. Could she be hunting for...mermaids? She doubted she even knew they were real. She could catch a pretty penny discovering her though. She decided to try to avoid this girl as much as possible. Esspically in the snow. Melody cleared her throat unable to speak her name. Should she even give her name? "I'm Melody." she said the bubbly attitude in her voice had dissapeared and was replaced with a nervous one. She kept an eye on her almost forgetting John was there. She then glanced at him. "So you need to get to a town huh?" She said. She really wanted to get out of here. She didin't know how to go about it. Seh couldn't jsut say, I have to go! That would be awkward and someone would probably follow her to see what she was up to. So she stayed there awkwardly. Once again she cleared her throat. Could she use her goldfish, Bubble as an excuse? No she couldn't. It was awkward for someone to barge out saying, I got to feed my goldfish! Nope. Couldn't be done. She remained unsure.

She nodded gently and then looked around the place, scanning the distance for any creatures that might be there. There was none, so she turned back to them and from the corner of her eyes, she was John staring at her. It made her feel a bit uneasy. She then looked at the girl and nodded again. She could clearly hear her voice change to a nervous one but said nothing about it yet. " Nice to meet you Melody and John... this place is safe for now do not worry. " She said in a light tone and then got a bit annoyed by there reaction to her. " can the both of you stop staring please? " Hunter asked with a bit of annoyance in her voice. " Melody... do not be afraid of me... i will not hurt you. " She said shaking her head and looking down at her. She forced herself to calm down and then spoke again" I am a member of the Royal Guard and i am on a patrol now... i am not going to eat either of you. " She said smirking and shaking hear head again. She then used her mask to start listening to some Jimmy Cliff, in a low volume so that she would be able to hear them talk. She then saw a squirrel climb down a tree in serch of food. She gently crouched down and gently reached out towards the animal. A few seconds of hesitation later, the animal looked at her hand and then slowly climbed onto it. Rek'aa got up and then spoke softly to the animal. " I will soon give you food." She almost wispered and then gently as she could carresed the animal. " There is a city pretty close by., i can escort you there if you like " She spoke the the two humans and pointed towards the outer gates in the distance.

Oh no did he do something wrong? John blinked a few times when Hunter addressed his staring. He was really sorry! That was the truth, too. He slowly lowered his hand from Casey's eyes, causing her to blink a few times, eying John then Hunter then Melody then John then Hunter then - you get the point. But, it kept it's mouth shut, not blowing any more bubbles. It was almost like it could feel the awkward in the air. Or it was just tired of blowing bubbles.
"oh uh i'm sorry miss...rek'aa? yeah that was it i think. if you could show me to the city it would be a great help!"
John wasn't exactly nervous, just sort of...at a loss for words. It had been a while since he met someone new but he's encountered so many new people here, he needed to regain his footing. I mean, he wasn't very socially active before, either. But there was always time to try new things, hm? Or something like that.
He looked over in the direction Rek'aa was pointing. Oh, sweet! A city, perfect. And she even said she was part of some royal guard, which was curious, but he would withhold questions on that subject for now. John glanced down at Casey, who was probably stiller than she'd ever been (although still dancing a little). He knelt down, eye level with his lizard-daughter.
"okay we're gonna head to a city now, things are looking up for us!"
John smiled. Casey bubbled.
"you should stay in here for now, i'll tell you when we get there."
Patting her on the head, John returned Casey to her Captchalogue card, and stood up again. Onward to the promised land now, eh?

Melody bit her lower lip and nodded. "Yea I guess I'm just a bit Jumpy today." She sighed and looked up to the sky the sun was heading into the sunset cycle. Melody sighed. She was too secretive about this mermaid thing. Another thing that was worse is Mermaid's are over emotional. Make them nervous it's known. Make them mad? Not good. She stretched. "Just tired I guess." She said. She knew after this odd conversation was over she'd be heading home to get a towel and go to some sort of water to swim. Being stuck on land too much made her land-sick. Land-sickness was worse than sea-sickness. You'd first break out in a huge rash much like the chicken pox and then you wouldn't be able to talk. It could last a long time for a mermaid until you went into the water. She smiled faintly as Casey blew a bubble. She really liked this little critter. It was actually pretty darn cute. She knew she was going home soon and Rek'aa had offered to take John back to Aledon. She would follow them and then go for her nightly swim as always. She could see the beginning signs of land-sickness on herself. She really needed to go swimming. "We all ready?" she asked looking at them both curiously. She almost wanted to drag them both to Aledon so she could go swimming. She knew better and anyway she thought it might be kind of fun to talk to someone for a change. Instead of the Dolphins.

She listened to them both and nodded. " it is alright... just everybody who sees me for the first time is always like that... it gets old after a while. " She shrugged and could hear Melody's heartbeat and breathing pick up speed. She looked at her via her mask and analized her in under a few seconds. " Melody... you really need to drink more water... you do not look so good. " She said and watched her for another second. The wierd liszard creature then caught her... full attention. the creature was blowing... bubbles! Rek'aa instantly activated her mask's recording and smirked and then laughed. " I have seen a lot of wierd things... this Casey here, takes the lead by far. " She shook her head with an amaized laugh. She then finally stopped recording after like a minit and nodded toward the person. " yes... it would be best if we head to the city now... you do not want to get caught up with possible trouble out here. " she explained and then added. " Trust me... keeping a pack of wolves away in the middle of the night for hours when you are very tired, hungry and confused... is not easy. " She smirked in a gime tone. She has been there and done that... and not just in this dimension.

John glanced over at Melody when she mentioned she was tired. It was still pretty early - was she used to sleeping long? John didn't even remember the last time he had a real night's sleep, it had been a really long time ago. It was still really odd, just being around other people that - presumably - had never actually played the game before. Just raised so many questions, and left all of his previous questions unanswered. He blinked. Melody seemed pretty uncomfortable to be here right now...what was up with that? Oh, he made her feel awkward, didn't he? Man, he needs to stop doing that! It's just not cool! He gave himself a quick bop on the forehead and answered her.
"yeah i'm all ready if you are. sooner we get there the better, right?" John's attention was then grabbed by Rek'aa, who commented on Casey. Heh heh, yeah, she sure was something else huh? Whatever she was. He honestly didn't know. Some of them could talk - even run shops - but Casey hadn't shown any signs of doing that. Maybe she was mute? That sounds pretty sad actually. John hoped she wasn't mute. Okay now he was getting off topic! He rubbed the back of his head and smiled like a goof, looking at Hunter. "she's different, yeah...wolves?" His eyes widened. Jeez, he didn't want to get attacked by wolves! He had fought one god-powered, menacing, serial-killer hound too many, and tangoing with a pack of wolves just wasn't what he needed right now. He took a few steps in the direction Rek'aa pointed towards, hands on his hips. "guess we should get going, then!"[/blockquote]
