All her life she had always wondered what the seal meant around her neck. She never removes it, and doesn’t know where she truly came from even though she was made to believe that she was born in the forest of Aledon. She was taught very well how to track everything of every size, and never misses catches what she goes after.
ATTIRE:Gretel likes to wear black. It helps her blend in with the dark at night, to give her the element of surprise when finding her victims. She doesn’t care for wearing dresses, and she prefers to wear leather pants, and a leather jacket. Around her neck is a necklace that she’s worn ever since she was born. It is a golden locket with a royal seal on it. She keeps it hidden under her jacket.

HISTORY:Gretel was actually not born into the life she lives now. Twenty-four years ago, she was born into a life of privilege, of finer things, and royalty. She was the only daughter to a great king named Klaus Thorne and his wife Queen Maria. Her original name is Olivia Rose, she was the only daughter, and the youngest child with four older brothers. Her birth was celebrated throughout the kingdom, and she was greatly loved by her people. She was a very happy baby, and rarely cried. She was her father’s joy and her mother’s world. She had prayed for a daughter, and she got one with as much spunk as a wild filly. She would love to spend every day out side in the royal gardens, and playing hide and seek with the servants or with her brothers.
The eve before her first birthday, her mother had tucked her into bed, and said their goodnights. Then as the kingdom slept, an intruder lurked in the shadows, and looked through the window of the young princess’ window. Slowly the figure entered the bedchamber and snatched the sleeping child. The horror came to the kingdom when the princess was missing. For years, Gretel was made to believe that she was nothing more than what she was. That she was a hunter, nothing more, and that the medal around her neck meant nothing. Her adoptive father taught her how to be a skilled hunter, to always never leave a stoned unturned, and how to track even the smallest mouse. She liked her life, but her mind would wonder if there was more to who she was. She would dream that there was another life out there was she was meant to be in. After her 24th birthday, she found something that must’ve belonged to a small child. It was a bed gown made of the finest satin, and with the same crest on the front that matched her necklace.
Finally, her parents confessed to her where she came from. She had somehow known what it all meant, but always doubted. She left them, and severed all ties with her family. She lived the life of a trained hunter, and sometimes even doing work for the royal family when the occasion arose. She worked for only herself, and didn’t work for anyone. She would never forget those who raised her, but she wanted to know the family she was born to.

MEMBER TITLE: The Huntress
EXAMPLE:
Sitting in a tavern, Gretel sat in the corner near the large fire pit with a cloaked figure. In her hand Gretel was spinning the blade of the the dagger into the aged wood of the table. The reflection of the silver blade danced on the wall, and Gretel took a deep breath and looked at the half hidden face. " Do we have an agreement huntress, you find the man, and then bring him to the palace guard. unharmed this time." His husky voice was low, and he never took his gaze off of the blade as he reached into his satchel, pulling out a small pouch, and placed it in between them. Gretel pulled the blade out of the wood, and placed it on the table. She looked at the bag, then at the man," What has this man done, that should make him so important to the king. Why doesn't he just send his fearless guards after him." She drank some of her ale, placing the pint down slowly, and the man chuckled " What he has done is none of your affair. This man has entered the dark forest, and no one enters the dark forest and comes out alive, but he has heard that you have, and would greatly appreciate it if you do this one thing. He will reward you... handsomely."
Gretel agreed to it, and that night she ventured away from Aledon. She patted Raven's neck, and spurred him and he took off into a gallop. It started to rain, and she rode across the king's land till she reached the outskirts of the town, and made her way to the Dark Forest. She slowed down as she reached the border to the forest, and she could see the dark clouds rising above the dark abyss of trees. Raven snorted, and let out a shrill whinny. She calmed him, and jumped off. She walked to the edge of the wood, looking down she spotted footprints, and knelt down to inspect them for freshness. " He's two days off at least," she said to Raven as she turned around and wiped the little mud on her fingers onto her boots. Looking back at the woods she wondered, what did this man do that the king needed him for so badly?
