Thought perhaps we needed one of these? Guess I'll go first.
Hello loves! I'm Dorian (actually my name's Apolline). 19, from Liverpool England, and engaged to the most wonderful footballer ever (Jordan Henderson. Look him up). I write historical fiction, poetry, and songs. What else? Hmm. I'm going to give you the 'normal' facts. Pardon the abundance of them.
• My family comes from Co. Cavan, Ireland. I'm Irish!
• I do have a Scouser accent, being from Liverpool and all.
• I speak fluent English, Gaelic, French, Italian, and Spanish.
• I'm a supporter of the Oxford Comma.
• I rode horses for six years and still regret stopping.
• I'm working toward a history major.
• I play football for fun, and love love love Liverpool FC!
• I sing, play guitar, play piano, play ukulele, play bodhran, play violin, and play Irish whistle.
• I'm a thespian and love theatre and improvisation. I make costumes too.
• I ADORE Monty Python. They're so bloody funny.
• I'm a Christian, and super-proud.
• I love history. It's my obsession. Hence, my love for Lord of the Rings.
• Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, and Games of Thrones for the win!
• I have a bearded dragon, named Cutler William Wallace.
• I adore Oscar Wilde, Conan Doyle, Yeats, Shakespeare, Lord Byron, Poe, James Joyce, Corneille, etc... Literature in general, actually.
• I have a fish named Seamus.
• Favourite music includes the High Kings, Kate Rusby, Celtic Thunder, Keane, the Beatles, Panic! At the Disco, the Script, Ryan Kelly, Keith Harkin, Patrick Fiori, Chris Mann, etc. As I write this, Keith Harkin's lovely voice is stuck in my head.
• I'm so glad the Hillsborough documents were released recently. YNWA!
• I'm also a serious pacifist... Nonviolence is my thing. The pen is mightier than the sword.
• Speaking of the pen. I'm currently working on a collection of novels. If you've any interest in reading them, I'd love to share them!
• I aspire to take over all of Europe by carefully overthrowing each government. I will then construct an empire for myself based on trade and good deeds. And of course, build a hobbit hole for myself.
• My two favourite people are Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr.
• I can quote almost anything. Photographic memory has served me well.
• Ask me anything else. I love to talk. Love it. Clearly.
