Camp Half-Blood has protected young heroes (mostly) for over three millennia. Its borders have kept out everything from vicious hellhounds to thunderstorms. However, they failed to keep out something that could destroy camp within a few days -- a mysterious illness. Over half of the campers are sick, but it hasn't proven to be deadly. Yet. Apollo campers are working overtime at the infirmary, and several campers have been chosen for a quest to seek the source of this disease. However, the odds that they're going to succeed aren't looking too great now that something else is rising slowly from the depths of the pit of Tartarus. Something even the Lord of the Underworld, Hades, is unsure about. Something that could possibly be connected to the illness.
