CAN'T LEAVE A THING TO YOUR IMAGINATION
AGE: 20
GENDER: Female
SEXUALITY Straight
BIRTHDAY: June 16th
CLASS: Noble
TITLE/RANK: Lady
OCCUPATION: Lady-in-waiting to the Queen/occasional seer for the King and Queen
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
SPECIES: Witch
MAGICAL POWERS: Prophetic dreams - A born seer, Morgana is able to see into the future though she has no control over this power and is normally very distressing for her when she awakens. Most of her dreams center around Arthur being in danger but she has had other visions as well.
Powerful magic - Morgana was born with the rare gift of magic without having every studied it beforehand. She has the potential to be a very powerful witch though at the moment she has very little knowledge as to how to use her magic. It scares her and is very unpredictable. So far she's blown up a vase of flowers just by looking at it and caused a flame to burn higher and higher until her curtains caught fire. She's also been host to a sleeping spell that affected everyone but her but that was not her doing and she was unaware of it.

GENERAL: Lady Morgana is a stunning young woman with her mother's ebony hair that is often set in waves and a figure that most women would kill for. She has pale smooth skin and emerald eyes that are often full of emotion. She stands at about 5 foot 6 inches and has a regal posture that only a Lady could have.
ATTIRE:Given her standing in Camelot she was never in short supply for something to wear and Morgana does quite enjoy her beautiful flowing gowns that she wore in Camelot. She quite favors white gowns as well as green as they both look good with her skin and hair as well as her eyes.

PERSONALITYA lot could be said about the Lady Morgana. She was raised to be a Lady of Camelot and has played that part to perfection. Elegant and regal, it was best put by her friend Gwen. Some people are just made to be Queen and Morgana was such a person. Kind and compassionate, Morgana always looked out for her friends no matter what their status might be. Her closest friend was Gwen who was the daughter of a blacksmith her and her maid since she was a child. Stubborn beyond belief, Morgana is not the sort to easily back down and speaks her mind often without care of the consequences that may come.
Her nightmares have always been a big problem for her, causing her to wake up screaming and shaking but as she got older the nightmares became more than what they were. She began to dream of terrible things happening to Arthur. The revelation that she has magic has changed her personality to some degree. She has become more secretive for good reason, scared of anyone finding out and unsure about what would happen to her. Her relationships with her friends has deteriorated somewhat since her discovery of magic and she believes no one could ever understand how she feels. Her hatred of Uther Pendragon grows as he unknowingly continues to alienate her and make her hate what she is.

FATHER: Uther Pendragon (Unknown)
SIBLINGS: Morgause Le Fay (Unknown half-sister)
Arthur Pendragon (Unknown half-brother)
OTHER: n/a
FAMILIAR/PET: N/A
PLACE OF BIRTH: Camelot
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Kingdom of Aldeon
WEAPONRY: Morgana is very skilled in using a sword having been trained by the best alongside Arthur. She is quick and what she lacks in strength she more than makes up for in technique and strategy. She currently has no weapon of her own as she has only just arrived in Aldeon.
HISTORY: Morgana was born to Lady Vivienne and Lord Gorlois in the realm of Camelot. Morgana believed that she was the only child of her parents though this was not the case as her half-sister Morgause had been smuggled away and given to the Priestesses of the Old Religion before Morgana was born. Her childhood was lovely but than tragedy struck at an early age and Morgana lost both her parents. Because of a promise made to Gorlois by Uther Pendragon, the King took Morgana into his care as his ward and raised her alongside his only son Arthur.
Because there was no Queen in Camelot, Morgana filled in as the Lady of Camelot, going to all the big events and sitting at Uther's side. Morgana and Arthur had an amusing enough relationship, almost like brother and sister with how they teased one another. Morgana was taught at a young age how to use a sword and it turned out that she was rather brilliant at it. Arthur wouldn't admit it but Morgana had bested him in a swordfigt once or twice before.
Growing up, Morgana grew to love her life in Camelot Castle, growing close with her maid Gwen as well as the court physician Gaius who helped her with sleeping tonics because she suffered from nightmares. A strange relationship that Morgana had was the one she had with the King. It was a love and hate sort of thing because she cared for him as her guardian but she couldn't stand his tyrannical way of ruling Camelot. His absolute hatred of magic and persecution of those that wielded it was often enough to cause an argument between the pair of them. She especially despised public executions, finding them to be morbid and wrong.
Things for Morgana began to change when her nightmares started to get worse. She would see terrible things and most of them centered around Arthur. It wasn't until Morgana saw a woman with Arthur from one of her dreams that she came to realize there was more behind the nightmares and it terrified her. It couldn't be coincidence and she wasn't going crazy which meant something worse, she had magic. Morgana went to both Merlin and Gaius about it and both were good enough to keep it a secret.
A turning point for Morgana was when she met the young druid boy Mordred. He was sick from an injury he had sustained when Merlin had found him and brought him to Morgana to hide him. The fact that he was a druid and had magic didn't mean anything to her, all she saw was a child who wanted to live and she did everything she could to try and help him, even defy the King. She was caught but because she was able to distract Uther, she gave Arthur and Merlin a chance to help the boy.
The rift between Morgana and Uther continued to grow due to her fear of her magic and what he might do to her if he found out about it. The execution of Gwen's father made Morgana angry enough to plot the King's death, even going as far as to hiring someone to do it but she realized what she was doing at the last minute and saved Uther's life. Uther was never the wiser that Morgana had orchestrated it.
It wasn't until Morgana met Alvarr and Mordred again that her hatred for Uther surfaced yet again, especially when Alvarr was caught and sentenced to death. Morgana openly disowned Uther and stormed off before she helped Alvarr escape. Over time Morgana began to accept herself with magic though she didn't dare try and study it or learn more about it for fear she would be caught and burned at the stake.
Then Morgause came into her life. A beautiful and powerful woman that just had an air about her, Morgause was the first person to offer Morgana help and comfort, something the young woman had been needing quite desperately. It was because of this that Morgana became a pawn in Morgause's attempt at killing Uther. Using Morgana as a vessel for a powerful sleeping spell, everyone in Camelot but Morgana was put to sleep and unable to wake up so long as Morgana lived though she was unaware of this.
Merlin figured it out though and did the only thing he could do. He poisoned Morgana. The sensation of suffocation, the pain of betrayal, it all burned as Morgana began to choke. She was dying and it was because of Merlin. Morgana passed out in his arms and that was the last thing she could remember before she found herself in a strange place known as Aldeon.

MEMBER TITLE: Her own worst enemy
EXAMPLE:
“Protect him with your life, do you understand?” Arthur’s words rang in Morgana’s head as they hid in the throne room. The sword she had been given by Arthur at that moment had been lost by now as she had run from the knights. Merlin was there with her though she couldn’t bring herself to look at him very much. Anger. She felt so much anger in that moment at the servant boy that she had actually been quite close to over the years. One moment he was helping her and the next thing he left her to be killed by one of the knights though oddly enough it didn’t. It passed her over with no explanation.
Merlin had even asked her why the knight hadn’t killed her, as if she should know?! How could Merlin have done that to her? Betrayed her in the way? Had she done something to earn his ire or did he know about her alliance with Morgause? How could he? This wasn’t what Morgana had wanted. She had never wanted to endanger the lives of those in Camelot, her friends and those she cared about. All she had wanted was for her to be free of Uther. Was that really so wrong? He had had so many killed, so many of her kind murdered because of his blind hatred so was it so wrong to want to make him pay for that?
Arthur had run off to try and save them all but at this moment everything seemed to be doomed. Had Morgause betrayed her as well? Had she used Morgana to bring about this spell and then kill her after? So many fears that Morgana had as she torn up the cloth that Merlin had given her. She was genuinely scared of how this would all play out. She didn’t want Arthur hurt. Arthur had done her no wrong.
Because of her trust in others she suffered, not paying attention to what Merlin was doing in that moment. The sound of ripping was all she heard as she frantically tried to collect her thoughts while trying to quell her anger at Merlin. Maybe he had no choice but why would he choose to try and save Uther over her?
As though he read her mind, Merlin turned to look at her and Morgana found it difficult to meet his gaze. “Here, have some water.” He offered and Morgana shook her head. She didn’t want anything from him, not now. “I’m not thirsty.” She said and continued ripping. She had no idea it was poisoned, only that it came from someone she currently hated. “If we get out of here you may not get a chance to drink.” If? That was a very big if considering what was happening now.
“If we get out of here.” She said, her voice showing some of that anger as well as hopelessness. How could he think about her drinking now? They needed to focus on surviving. The sound of Arthur fighting could be heard and Morgana’s heart lurched. This was all her fault and she knew it. The water flask was passed to her as Merlin went to see what was going on and she set it aside, too lost in her own thoughts and guilt to drink.
After another attempt from Merlin about the stupid water flask Morgana gave in. She offered a small smile and took a drink, intent on getting the fabric ripped before all hell broke loose. Her heart was racing and she set the flask aside after she had a drink. It was then she began to feel the effects of the Hemlock. She coughed a few times, her hand to her throat and her eyes wide. Merlin’s back was turned on her now. Breathing became difficult and Morgana began to panic, what was wrong with her? Was the sleeping sickness hitting her now? Her pathetic attempts at breathing continued and she glanced down at the water flask and then at Merlin’s back. Had he?
No, he wouldn’t. He was her friend despite everything. She had trusted him so why…
Then he turned and it was written clearly on his face. He was the reason she was suffocating. It explained why he had been so insistent on her drinking the damned water. He had poisoned it.
How could he watch her die like this? He moved towards her and she tried to push him away, not wanting him anywhere near her but she was too weak at this point to fight him off. She couldn’t even cry as she slowly suffocated from the poison. She was held in his arms as her eyes closed and darkness surrounded her.
And to think that she had cared for him....
