HAIR: Blonde
WEIGHT: 105 lbs.
HEIGHT: 5'6"
PLAY-BY: Candice Accola
GENERAL: Elle is of a rather average height, and is naturally a very light weight person. She's got the smallest bit of a curve to her body, but nothing too out of the ordinary. It's more of her face that gets the attention, since she's definitely a fairy tale beauty.
ATTIRE:Now, this depends on the world. Of course, in Storybrook, Elle had a far different wardrobe than here in the fairytale realm. In our world, she was a rather fashionable girl who had a classically girly style, keeping with a uniform of mostly dresses and skirts that were always flattering to her body type. As a princess in the fairytale realm, she had a very similar taste, wearing gowns that kept up with the latest styles of the kingdom, hand sewn by the finest of her subjects.[/SIZE]

PERSONALITYDanielle, or Elle, is definitely not your girl next door. Sure, she's stunning and sweet as can be, but she's got a wit and a slight edge to her that's hard to ignore. She's spunky and isn't afraid to speak her mind, which can often get her into trouble. There's definitely an adventurous side to her, and she's the type of person who's always dying to move from one thing to the next. She's beloved by her subjects, and she would do anything in her power to make their lives just a little bit better.
That being said, Elle has a slight problem of letting people walk all over her. Sure, she'll speak her mind, and have the right sort of attitude when it comes to standing up for herself, but it's often rather difficult for her, and she just resorts back to dreaming or wishing she could get herself out of situations than actually doing it, especially when it comes to her husband. HISTORY:
Everyone is sure they know the story of Cinderella, a beautiful young servant girl, terrorized by her step family, gets a wish from a fairy godmother, attends a royal ball, marries a prince, and lives happily ever after. Yes, fairly simple, really; but the real story? Now that is far more complicated a tale.
Lady Danielle Tremaine was born into the world on the very day her mother passed away. Yes, her beloved mother died in childbirth, and Elle was never to know her. It was a day of much suffering in Lord Tremaine's household, but nevertheless, he at least had a beautiful baby girl. Immediately, she was the apple of her father's eye. She was his everything, and growing up with him was a child's dream. They did absolutely everything together, from reading the greatest stories to going on adventures all throughout the countryside. Even without her mother to guide her, in Danielle's eyes, everything was perfect. That is, until the day her father remarried.
Her father's marriage to Lady Marguerite was one of utter and total surprise. They were opposites in exactly everything, but, that didn't stop Marguerite, since she was desperate for the Lord's fortune and land. She quickly moved into the family estate, bringing her two equally insufferable daughters with her. It would have been a living hell for Danielle had she not had her father there to protect her, but sadly, this was not to last. Lord Tremaine passed away only months after Marguerite became his wife, and she now ruled over the estate, and, Danielle. Danielle was forced into a life of a servant, responding to every beck and call of her new stepfamily. After years of this, Danielle was resigned to the fact that this would be her life forever, that is, until she heard the news of a royal ball. You see, the prince of the region was on the hunt for a wife, and not particularly interested in any of his parent's matches for him, he looked to the citizens of his own country.
That fateful night of the ball, after her stepfamily had left her, absolutely sure one of them was to be picked as the new princess, Danielle sat alone in despair, wishing more than anything she might be able to attend. Well, it wasn't long before someone heard her plea for help, but that someone was no fairy godmother. That someone was Rumpelstiltskin, and he was willing to make her a deal. She would not only be able to attend the ball, but she was guaranteed that the prince would fall immediately deeply and madly in love with her, and would sweep her away from her horrible life. The catch? Well, at the time it wasn't specified, but she was guaranteed there was going to be one in the future, and he was sure to collect whatever it was. Without a second thought, Danielle agreed to his bargain, and was swept off in her pumpkin carriage to the ball.
The entire night went just as he had said, prince and all, and she was soon married living her fairytale new life. Her stepfamily was furious, particularly her eldest stepsister, Lady Marie, who had fallen just as deeply in love with the prince as he had with Danielle. Everything was going wonderfully to plan, that is, until Rumpelstiltskin came back for his exchange. His demand was this: Danielle was to take the life of her old stepmother. He didn't give her any explanation, but if she did not complete his task in a week's time, he warned her that her entire life was soon to be in shambles. Taking no heed of his warning, Danielle refused his task, unwilling to murder even the woman who had tortured her for years. It was then that the "happily ever after" began to crumble.
Danielle soon learned that her beloved husband had fallen into the temptation of her stepsister, Lady Marie, who was still a frequenter of the palace and still just as in love with him as she had been. Even after Danielle's confrontation to him, the affair was not to end, and day by day, her husband became more and more distant. Her life became one of just tolerating her surroundings, and she couldn't help but remember the words of Rumpelstiltskin. That is until the fateful day when a pirate became a royal guest at her palace.
You see, it was a well known custom for great kingdoms to support a pirate's ventures financially in exchange for a percentage of their plunders of enemy kingdoms. Killian Jones was one of the most well known pirates in the seas, even before his infamous title of Captain Hook. It was only natural for Prince Thomas to invite the great pirate to a similar deal, and it wasn't very long before Killian accepted. As a way of thanking the pirate, he was invited to stay as a royal guest at the palace after every successful mission.
It was
It was none other than Lady Marie who had heard the news of Killian and Danielle, and didn't waste a second in informing the prince of the love affair as soon as she found out. The prince, of course, immediately broke off all ties to the pirate, and banished him from the palace, never to see Danielle again.
It was now Danielle was sure Rumpelstiltskin had effectively taken his revenge upon her, as she was left with no one around her except her adoring subjects.
The curse put upon her had almost been a blessing, except that she was forced to live out her life again in modern terms; living with her husband, a powerful businessman in Storybrook, who was sleeping with her stepsister, pining after a man she couldn't remember the name of.

EXAMPLE:
The first thing she could hear were screams. Then, crackling fire. She could smell smoke. She could...see smoke.
Well, sort of anyway.
Erkia McClain just barely opened her eyes to a scene she wished immediately she had never seen. There was scrap metal everywhere from the plane. Sections of the aircraft she had just been pleasantly flying on, sipping a ginger ale while browsing sky mall for the latest in useless merchandise, were on fire, and collapsing in on itself. She shut her eyes for a moment again, moaning with pain as she suddenly began to feel.
She must have suffered some sort of concussion. She wiggled her fingers and toes to make sure they were still ten of each. But, what was that she felt underneath her... sand...? She opened her eyes again, to the extent she could open them, which was much more of an effort than it should be, to see a perfect blue ocean spread out before her. In any other situation, she would have been ecstatic to see such a sight, but right now, right here, the ocean was the last thing she wanted to see. Ocean meant island, like all those thriller movies you paid way too much to see where a bunch of kids are stranded forever on a tiny spit of land, and end up eating each other and stuff. Erika did not particularly feel like eating anyone at the moment, or, like, ever.
She tried to get up, really, she did, but her limbs just weren’t paying any attention to what her brain was telling them to do. Desperately pushing against the sand, she ended up just sinking a little. Alright. So, she was too weak to get up, probably from being thrown out of a hurdling plane onto a beach. Maybe a few broken ribs, obviously some large sort of gash on her leg, since she looked down and saw more blood than should be there for just a little wound. Okay, she could accept that. She was training to be a nurse after all, she could probably get herself back together, if she could ever force herself to get up. Pushing against the persistently shifting sand, she rolled over onto her back, moaning again from the pain.
Immediately after closing her eyes again, they shot open, as the shouts of a man became louder and louder, until she heard, and saw, the very man dragging a wounded person towards her. So, there were other survivors. Okay, obviously there were since the first thing she heard was screams, but hey, her mind was a little slow today. She had just crash landed on an island, after all. She tried to speak to the man, who had just laid down in exhaustion beside her, but all that came out were a few coughs. Ugh. This was going to be more difficult than she imagined.
