GENERAL: Killian is an a very handsome man, and boy does he know it, and use it. He has a thick amount of stubble on his pretty face and is never seen without his trusty eyeliner. He has a tattoo on his wrist with a heart and the name 'Milah' written in it. He is quite thin but well built. He has many scars and cuts on his body from years of fights and piracy. The most noticeable thing about him would be his lack of left hand, and the shiny hook that he uses as a replacement.
ATTIRE: Killian has a silver earring in his right ear, a stolen reminder of a past lover. Some words used to describe Killian's dress style would be 'leather' and 'black'. He can't get enough of the leather. Tight, black leather pants, black (though occasionally red) leather vest with a black leather coat. His likes to keep his coat and vest open enough for hints of his chest hair to be visible. He also usually wears a silver necklace.

PERSONALITY Killian, more commonly known as Hook, is a handsome, fearsome and confident pirate ship captain. Hook relishes every challenge and never backs down from a fight, whether the reward is power, riches or women. He possesses the meticulous style and old-school manners of a proper gentleman, but beneath that veneer lies a vindictive enemy who will not rest until all his enemies have been defeated… and humiliated.
He has a darker side that is known by many, and he can be cruel and unforgiving. When charm will not work, he uses fear to get what he wants. He is not afraid to do what needs to be done to get what he desires, and many fear him because of it.
Despite this darker side, there is a part of him that is good - or at least wants to be. He loves woman, and is [nearly] always a gentleman towards them, and though he has many one-night stands with many woman, when he loves a woman, he falls hard, deeply and intensely. Both of the woman he has loved with this much vigor he lost. When he was with them, he would do anything to make them happy, to see them smile, to protect them and to try and be a better man for them. Without love, his darker side comes out.

PLACE OF BIRTH: Aboard his fathers ship (The Flying Dutchman)
CURRENT RESIDENCE: The Jolly Roger (or an inn).
WEAPONRY: His best weapon is his sharp hook, which is a part of him, and he therefore can weald it with deadly accuracy. He is also quite apt with a sword (as he has had over 200 years of practice and experience with it).
HISTORY:
Killian Jones was born aboard The Flying Dutchman, his father, Davy Jones, ship. His father loved nothing more than the sea, so obviously a wife was out of the question, and he had never even thought of the possibility of a son. But, when one of the woman who lived temporary on his ship to keep the crew, and occasionally himself, 'company' approached him and told Davy that she was pregnant, at first he considered throwing the woman and the unborn child off the ship, but after much thinking he decided the idea of a son wasn't totally abhorrent to him. He was married to the sea though, and wasn't interested in keeping a woman aboard the ship permanently so as soon as Killian turned 3 and no longer required the full attention of his mother, she was abandoned (with a considerable amount of money as compensation) at a bay and was forced to leave her son to be raised by Davy and his crew.
He was raised by pirates and knew since he was young that a pirate was all he could be. His childhood was surprisingly good, his father and the crew weren't particularly cruel to him, in fact, he was treated especially well. But, he often saw his fathers cruelty towards others, and was dissatisfied with the way Davy ran his ship. Killian's head was often filled with ideas of riches, power and adventures, so the second he turned 18, Killian was out of his fathers ship and into the world on his own.
It didn't take him long to collect a loyal crew and on one of his wild adventures he managed to take over a ship, which he named the Jolly Roger. Through years of battles, adventures and other not-entirely-legal escapades he surpassed his fathers fame and became one of the most revered and infamous pirates of the sea.
Naturally, he was invited and funded by many Princes and Kings to plunder their enemies lands, and one fateful day he was invited to be a royal guest at Prince Thomas's castle. That was were he met Danielle. She was absolutely perfect. An absolutely beautiful and stunning face not to mention how deliciously unobtainable she was. He knew he had to have her. Despite his charm and attempts to seduce her, she at first resisted him, but boy did Killian love a challenge, and it simply made him want her more. In fact, he found he was falling a bit in love with her. After a long period of time resisting him, she eventually gave in, and it was one of the happiest times he could remember. It wasn't just about the sex, he had been with many woman before, but she was different, there was something deeper there. Somehow though, they were found out and the Prince forced him out of the kingdom. Before he was forced to leave though, he snuck back into his beloved Danielle's room and stole one of her earrings which he kept and now wears constantly as a reminder.
He was forced to leave before he got the chance to talk to her, but he decided that perhaps if he was as rich and as powerful as her husband the prince, she may consider running away with him, and he made it his mission to acquire more wealth and power and steal back Danielle.
He travelled around the Enchanted Forest and sailed from bay to bay and got more and more infamous and one day when staying at a tavern he met Milah.
He had thought Danielle must be his true love, but after meeting Milah he wasn't so sure. She was always smiling and laughing, and her eyes always seemed to dance like they had some delicious secret she wasn't going to share with you.
He entertained her with stories of his adventures and eventually she left her poor excuse for a husband and met him on his ship where she was to set off with him as his new companion. This was were he was approached by Rumpelstiltskin, who refused to fight for Milah, so Killian left him and went on many adventures with his beloved Milah.
For several years he sailed the seas with her. She made him a better man and he provided her with the adventures she so desired. One day, he returned to the same tavern he met Milah. He runs into Rumpelstiltskin, now the Dark One, and he remarks on how much he looks like a crocodile. When Rumpelstiltskin asked where Milah was, at first Killian lied and said she had died many years ago. Rumplestiltskin challenged Killian to a duel, but takes Killian's sword The two battle and Rumplestiltskin eventually gains the upper hand by plunging his hand into his chest to rip his heart out.
At this moment, Milah appears and orders Rumplestiltskin to stop, saying that she will give him the magic bean held by William Smee if he will spare both hers and Jones' life. She also reveals that she and Killian are lovers, and she joined his crew of her own free will. Rumplestiltskin agrees and the next day meets both him and Milah on board the ship. Milah offers him the bean, but then tosses it to Killian as Rumplestiltskin moves towards her in a fit of rage. Jones clenches it in his hand as he watches Rumplestiltskin rip Milah's heart out. Killian never knew he could experience pain like this. He ran to her side and held her in his arms as Milah tells him she loves him. She dies in his arms as Rumplestiltskin crumbles her heart into dust.
Rumplestiltskin demands the bean, but Killian refuses. In response, Rumplestiltskin cuts off his left hand, which supposedly holds the bean. Jones cries out in pain, then grabs a hook near Milah's corpse and drives it into Rumplestiltskin's chest. Rumplestiltskin laughs and disappears in a cloud of dark red smoke, leaving the hook to clatter to the deck. Killian takes the hook and replaces his left hand with it, before burying Milah at sea. He then tosses the magic bean, which was concealed in his other hand, into the sea, and states that he and his crew are going to a place where youth is eternal. Neverland.
After a series of events involving The Evil Queen and her mother Cora, he became allied with Cora. She protected him from the curse and he waited for 28 years for the curse to be broken so he could finally get his revenge on his crocodile...

MEMBER TITLE: Captain Hook of the Jolly Roger
ANSWER: read the rules! [/ul]
EXAMPLE:
(From the site 'Distant Shores' as another character who was also a pirate! haha)
Rosaline had not been having a good day. She had woken up with a raging hangover. Her head was ringing and she had red spots in her eye sight. Though technically this was her fault, she decided to berate her crew anyway for letting her drink that much in the first place. All the screaming she was doing was not helping her headache, but they deserved it.
She decided to go for a swim hoping that it would help subside her hangover. Since she didn't have a bathing costume to wear and she didn't want to wet her dress, she swam naked in the surprisingly warm water. She didn't have to worry about anyone trying to sneak a peak though, because they all knew to do so was to risk their lives.
Though she would usually be pleased with the warm day her long sleeved dress made the mild heat worse, but though very tempted to rip off her sleeves, she knew she'd already done enough damage to the dress and that she would regret it once the usual rainy weather returned.
Unfortunately, after her swim her headache had not gone away. The only logical thing to do was to drown out her headache with some more alcohol. She demanded some of the spirits one of her crew members brew, and though her was hesitant to give it to her (after the tongue lashing he had just received) the glare she gave got rid of all hesitance and she found herself a little tipsy by the afternoon, singing a song with some of her favourite crew members.
Rosaline sighed, knowing that she needed to do something with her day. Maybe raid a town... No, she wasn't drunk enough to attempt that, and the rest of her crew weren't sober enough. A simple mugging it was to be then.
"Let us set sail now, you beef-witted bastards, or do you not wish to eat tomorrow? I only need two of you to accompany me. Just a small robbery today!" she shouted, already out of the cove they were seated in and in one of the small boats they had. Two of her men jumped on they boat with her and they slowly rowed their way to one of the beaches near the beetle settlement. There were sure to be someone around there.
Off the coast of one of the beaches she saw a figure. It was a boy, a bit taller than her, but he only looked about 15. He was pale and skinny - weak. An easy target.
"Oi! Over there. Look at that sorry sod, easy pickings." she said to the two other crew members, as they laughed at the poor luck of the boy.
She arrived in front of him silently. He had his eyes shut and it looked like he had been fishing. Hm, he looked like a slave. He might not have too much on him, but there was sure to be something. The fishing rod might come in good use.
She approached, grabbing her small knife out of her pocket and placing it under his neck (careful not to actually touch the skin, she didn't actually have any intention of killing the boy).
"Up, puny scut!" she cried, and small smirk on her face. She took an aggressive stance, the curly pieces of hair that had escaped her bun, flying around her face.
