Cold and bitter, the chill of the frosty night air sunk into her flesh and chilled her to the bone. Goose bumps broke out across her flesh and she shivered, moaning softly in her sleep as she sunk a little deeper beneath the covers. She pressed backwards into Wray, instantly feeling his body heat absorb into her flesh. A wicked smile crept across her mouth and she rolled over, raking her fingers down his toned abdomen.
She placed a feather light kiss upon his shoulder, slowly moving across his collarbones and rising up on her knees, her dark hair falling in curtains, teasing his tanned flesh. He groaned in his sleep, a smile creeping across his own face as sleep tired eyes opened up groggily to peer at her and then widened in slight fear.
"Cherry?" He reached up to touch her face, only to sink right through her. Cherry frowned lifting an arm only to watch it be enveloped by a faint purple light and she was slowly... vanishing? Her own eyes widened in fear and she tried to reach out to touch Wray to no avail. Panicking, she rose up watching herself slowly fade away.
"Wray! Wray!" She shouted his name in hopes that he would somehow save her. The last thing she heard was his desperate calls for her, before everything went black.
Cherry jumped awake, dark brown eyes spinning wildly before shutting just as quickly as the sun blinded her. She groaned, bringing a hand up to shield herself from its powerful rays. She moaned, pushing herself up off the dirt and glanced around. Thick fields of seemingly endless grass surrounded her in all directions and her brow furrowed before her eyes widened with panic as she realized she was alone... among what she believed to be a zombie hoard.
"Wray!" Her voice echoed, seemingly for miles as she searched for her lover. "Wray!" She screamed into the summer sky and was met with deafening silence, fear, panic and a blood curdling anger set in as she spun trying to pinpoint anything that looked familiar. "This isn't funny you dick!" Silence. She was still wearing his jacket, and she still had her machine gun and whatever ammo it still possessed... and when she found Wray he better pray that it be gone.

Clark walked in to the kitchen, as he made himself something to drink and to eat. As it was friday morning, and he had a day off. However, he waited for his wife Lois to wake up and join him for breakfast, as he wanted to spend time with her, as planned. Clark then heard his phone ring, as he answered it, only to find that it was his friend, the doctor, who found out something and wanted him to see it. He tried to see if later or monday would work, but the doctor only told him that it couldn't wait, as he sighed and agreed to meet up with him. Clark then finished eating and drinking, what he made himself and then he left a note, for his wife to let her know that he had to go see someone, but he will be back. After that he got what he needed, and headed out the door. Yet, when he headed out the door he felt being pulled and engulf by something odd, as he tried to find it, but with no luck, as he disappeared and appeared somewhere he never been at before, as he sighed and looked around, lost in thoughts. Clark was shocked and confused by it all, as it made no sense, not to him at least. He wondered who did that and why, but he knew for a fact that he hated it, he hated the situation more than anything in the world. One because he had to go see the doctor and two, he promised his wife to come back, and now he couldn't do that. That was the last thing, Clark expected but now he was stuck as he looked around once more, still trying to figure it all out. He then stopped as he saw someone not to far away. Clark sighed as he walked over. "Excuse me, do you know where we are? What is this place?" he asked her. "Wait are you new here too or from around here?" Clark added just to be sure, as he saw her clothes. It wasn't much like what he saw, but then again he had eyes only for Lois and only on her. Besides, Clark was loyal and what not, not to mention where he lived people didn't wear clothes like this, which was why he was wondering that. He wasn't interested in her, other then maybe being her friend, if it was possible, that is. Clark then checked his watch, only to find that he didn't have it, also he still had his glasses on, as he sighed to that. More and more, it all confused him by every passing moment, no matter what. Clark sighed, as he looked around again then back at her. "Couid you help me? Unless you need help too, then we can easily help each other out. " He said as he watched her closely. Clark then, looked down and back at her, as he waited for a reply. He hoped that either they could help other out, or that she could help him out, whichever came first. Which was even possible at all. Clark looked around again, then back at her as he noticed that it was only them, there and no one else as he waited for the other one to reply. "I am Clark Kent, by the way" He said, as he extended his hand to shake hers. Clark smiled at her, as he was being nice, also he wished he wasn't there but nothing to do with her or any other person, just he didn't belong there, and wanted to be only where he belonged, no more or less. Anyway, he sighed as he waited for her reply. Clark had his suit under his clothes, as always and he could still feel it, so that was something, Yet, he was frustrated that he was stuck where he didn't want to be. Where he didn't even belong at all. As Clark could tell that much. Even if he had no idea where he was nor how he got there, he could tell it was real, by every passing minute, second and even an hour or two.

Cherry was pissed. El Wray was gone. she was alone in some God forsaken field, and she was supposed to be hunting down zombies. She was El Wray's gun... or at least her leg was, and he never missed. He was out there somewhere, possibly dead and or dying and she was lost. Lost with absolutely no explanation to how she possibly could have gotten here. Pissed did not even fully begin to explain her mood. With a sneer curling her lips and an angry growl rumbling up through her vocals she caught the voice on the wind and turned.
The heavily armed machine gun made a dull thump as it sunk into the dirt and she itched to blow something full of holes, she hated this with a fiery fueled passion and something was going to die for it. She didnt care who or what it but something would be the cause and when she found it... a sinful smile full of anger and hatred crossed her pretty lips. She turned to face this man, forcing herself to relax and calm down, she needed to breathe if she was going to properly greet someone. Breathe baby... in and out, in and out.
"Honey if I knew where we were or how in Gods name I got here, I surely would not be looking like a hooker in the middle of a corn field." The sarcasm left her mouth before she could stop it and she took the opportunity to look him up and down. Buisness suit, brief case... upper classman for sure. She was an ex go-go dancer with a recent hobby of blowing zombies to pieces with her "modified" leg... quite the polar opposites really. Short black leather mini skirt, thick leather boot on her remaining leg, a red top that left little to nothing to ones imagination, a, engagement band on her finger, and a leather jacket smothered in patches... talk about yin and yang. She ran a hand through her curled hair in agitation.
"I was in the process of waking up my fiance to a very happy good morning when I suddenly vanished, was covered in some freaky purple light and wound up here... and this is not Texas." That last bit was a snarl, easily displaying her very angered mood. "Look, I don't mean to take this out on you but right now my fiance needs me and my... well the gun." She lifted the machine gun, glancing at it fondly. As he asked if she could help him, despite her angered mood a smile quirked at her mouth and she sighed. "Unless you're help requires one of my useless talents, killing zombies or a machine gun, I'm afraid I won't be of much use. I don't Go-go dance anymore so dont bother asking." She highly... highly doubted he was the type to go to one of those kind of clubs but she wasn't afraid to fill him full of holes if he tried to take advantage of her. El Wray was the only one allowed to touch her. She shivered, a shiver that had absolutely nothing to do with the cold.
"Cherry." She hesitated a moment before grasping his hand and shaking it firmly. "Cherry Darling. I realize its not the most glamorous or professional name but its the only one I go by now." She was not a woman who needed to be saved, nor was she a woman who needed a great deal of friends, in fact her abrasive personality made it damn near impossible for anyone to tolerate her for long but she forced herself to try, she needed to figure out where she was and why... and blowing people full of holes was not going to help her any.

Clark was confused, surprised and rather angry that the day turned that way. He wasn't sure what to think, about all of that but he knew that he truly hated it, already, no matte what. As Clark saw someone, and walked over as well as talked to the person, he just watched the person's reaction. When he realized it was in fact a girl, he didn't leave, instead just waited for a reply from her anyway, Clark of course wasn't interested in her, unless her help figuring out where they were, or in helping one another to figure out where they were, as well as how they got there. Yet that was it. Which he planned to explain to her, if he had to. Clark was happily married as it was in fact something he held very dear, and there was no way he would cheat or anything like that, not to mention it wasn't like him. Which he had no doubt that the young woman in front of him, was exactly like him. If Clark was right it would be good, also he was sure that he was in fact right. He was positive about it. Anyway, Clark watched her closely, as he looked down and back at her. He heard the machine gun, as he looked at her foot, or rather where used to be one, right where the noise came from as he was rather shocked, but didn't comment on it, and instead looked back at her face and sighed. Clark watched her and her reaction and sighed, as he hoped that she was alright, also by her heart beat and face expression, among other things he could tell that she wasn't, which made him think that she went through the same as he did, as he sighed to that. It wasn't surprising that she reacted the way she did, not to Clark that is. "I had no idea, sorry! I don't know who is from around here and who isn't, as I just got here myself and people get dressed the way they want, it has nothing to do with me. I never even commented on your way you are dressed, so relax as I am not behind it all but I have no doubt we will find who is behind it and you could do what you want to them! Hey, I might even back you up on it , as in help you! So you don't need to worry about it" he said and sighed. He then looked around and back at her. "I didn't blame you, I just hoped that someone knew things way better than me, I guess not" Clark added. He then thought of something, "Wanna work together to figure it all out? It's better rather than one" he said to her over sudden. Clark was sarcastic back at her, before but when he offered to work together it wasn't sarcastic anymore. Clark looked around then back at her and sighed, as he watched her closely, wondering if she agreed to his suggestion or not, as he was only being nice to her. "Really? I am sorry to hear it, I was going to meet someone but didn't even got to my car as I disappeared, after being pulled away and ended up here, wherever we are! And no, it doesn't look like Texas or America, or any of those places. I have heard of most and none of those places look like that" Clark said and sighed. "I hope we will find away back, as I promise someone to be back to spend time with them, and now I doubt it will ever happen" he said, in a frustrated tone of voice, but it was in general not because of her, obviously. Clark watched her as he felt bad for her, but he understood her more than most would have, he was sure of that. As she said the next, he listened to her once more. " Well I was thinking more like exploring and finding out where are we! As we both are lost and annoyed, as well as confused about all of it. So while we are here, we might explore the place and find out where we are, as well as how we got here" Clark said to her. "Go go dancers aren't my thing, besides I am not interested in anyone, as I am married man" he added and showed her the wedding ring, to prove his point. "So there is no worries there" Clark pointed out. He watched her and sighed. "Are you alright?" "Nice to met you, Cherry, Clark. Clark Kent" he said, as they shook hands. "Actually it's a pretty good name, if you ask me. It's interesting too and no worries not saying it in away to imply am in to you or anything, I only say it as a friend" Clark said to her with a smile, a small one then he sighed. "I say this because some think that what I am doing,, but I am not. Also I doubt you are like them, but just making sure" he added. Clark looked around then back at her and sighed yet again, as he waited for her to reply as he wondered what would she say.

Cherry missed El Wray, as much as she was loathe to admit it, she missed her idiot. They were yin and yang, polar opposites but they worked together. He kept her safe, made her feel special, wanted, and she kept him on his toes, always brash and quipped with her tones. They were perfect together, the perfect duo. They weren't the fairytale princess special, she wasn't some distressed damsel and he certainly wasn't some chivalrous prince, but they were perfect for each other. A smile quirked her lips at the thought of what he would say to them being sucked into a fairytale world. Probably something along the lines of "Look baby, you can be Bonnie and I'll be Clyde." They were destructive forces of nature both separate and together. They were personalities that could turn a room, command attention, they always had been, and damn it, did she miss him.
"Stop apologizing doll. No need for empty sorrows unless you're the one who brought us here." Her dark gaze swept him from head to toe. "And considering you look just as out of place if not more so than me... well I'm gonna go ahead and assume it wasn't you." Cherry was angry and very, very agitated, but it wasn't fair for her to take such anger out on this poor bastard who seemed to be in the same situation she was in. Angrily... she ran a hand through tightly tangled curls and almost growled as her fingers snagged on the knots. Right... she was supposed to be in bed... with El Wray.
"Normally... I would say it was a pleasure to meet you Clark but given the circumstances... I would say there are places we both would rather be." Cherry snorted. She tugged Wray's jacket tighter around her body, smelling the thick scent of cologne. It still smelled like her Wray it was a scent that calmed her soothed her nerves, told her she could get through this. She had too. She would find a way to get back to him if it killed her. This... she swore. She perked up at his mention of finding a way home and she gnawed at her bottom lip. "And how do you propose we get back? The only superpower I have is contorting in weird ways, I can dance on a pole, and whatever fire power this gun has in it. I don't know about you, but I can't magically teleport somewhere else... or at least not before today."

Clark watched her and sighed, as he had no doubt she missed someone dear. And considering she mentioned being engaged, he figured that she missed her fiance', her lover, which he could relate, except unlike her he was married, so he missed his wife, but it was a small difference so. Clark wished that they both didn't go through that, but unfortunately they did and now they had to deal with it, and as much as he knew they both hated it, what else could they do? It was the way things were. However, he didn't give up hope to one see his wife, and parents as well as adopted son, like he had no doubt that Cherry never gave up hope that one day she will see her fiance' again. Anyway, he spoke as he then listened to her. "It is just showing respect to you, that is all! If I could make sure none of it, happened to us then I would" Clark said and sighed, as he watched her closely and sighed. "You are right, I didn't but it is how usually people show courtesy, whether they are responsible or not. So I am used to that" he added. Clark looked around, then back at her. Like her he hated it, but since he was Clark at that moment, he could only act as Clark, and talk as he would as Clark. Also it was of course the same voice, but he as superman understood more, than he as Clark did. Among other things. Which was why he acted like Clark, also in this case so neither Clark nor superman knew what on earth was going on. "I understand, no worries and you are right. Also it's better meeting someone with whom you got a chance to be friends with, rather than with an enemy, or potential enemy, as in when you are in the situation we are in, that is" Clark said, as he fixed his glasses. He watched her, as he figured that like him she no doubt tried to calm down, and try somehow to find away back. When Clark said the next, he sighed as he listened to her. " I get it, that not what I mean so, Cherry. What I mean is that we look for something or something that could help us get back to our loved ones that's all! While for now just explore the place and see what we can find out, which maybe will help us get back, it is worth a try either way, don't you think? When we find the one behind it, we will make them pay"

Cherry stood like some sentinel soldier overlooking a battlefield. Her dark eyes were as hard and cold and onyx stones and her lips were pressed into a fine white line. Delicately she toyed with the ring on her finger, spinning around and around, with seemingly no purpose. She traced the familiar engravings, the words she had read over a thousand times in the past two days and it only helped to quicken her pain, she had only just discovered the intentions of her fiance, and now he was gone, vanished.
"My background being courteious was someone calling me a horrid name instead of slicing some part of my flesh with a switchblade. If a smack to my ass was the worst of the nights events it was considered a good night." Cherry had never claimed to be a genuine lady, she was crude and blunt, sometimes to the point of rudeness, but it was simply in her nature, a natural defense she had always produced for herself. It protected her and kept her safe. Kept her emotions in check. "Common courtesy and kindness are not a big part of my life."
She could see the glittering band around his finger, could tell he missed his lost wife dearly. She was no idiot, useless talents number thirty-two, the ability to see underneath the underneath. She had to be observant with her job. It was either learn to read people, get raped, killed, or meet some other grizzly fate. Her persona was the tough, sarcastic, untouchable girl because she had to be. If someone thought you were dangerous, they left you alone, the heavy armored machine gun...was just a bonus.
"I have no idea how to get home, I don't much believe in fairy tales or luck... but I know that when I find the son of a bitch that brought me here... I'll make sure hes begging me to kill him before I let him die." As if to prove her point, she readjusted her stance, standing tall up on the machine gun. It would not be the first time Cherry had killed someone for her own pleasure. She looked back over at the buisness man and hesitated a moment. "So where do you propose we go?"

Clark watched her and sighed. He looked down, then back at her as he wondered what to do next. Clark watch her do so, as he looked at his wedding ring and put his other hand fingers over it, as he just looked at it for a bit, then back at her. He could relate to her in away, as he too missed someone, like she did. Clark hoped that one day they would see their loved ones again, no matter what or where as that would make things a lot better, then what they were so far. He looked at her with sympathy as he truly cared, and felt terrible that she had to go the same as he did, as that was torture. Clark hoped that they could help each other deal, for now at least, until they see their loved ones again, that is if she agreed, as it was up to her not him, which he doubted that she would agree to it, but if so it was fine.
"Well not everyone got a glamorous background, you know?! I sure don't either." he said to her and sighed. Clark looked around then back at her. "It took me a while to prove to my partner, that I am a good reporter and not just a guy. Not to mention get her to notice me not someone else, and that combined with everything else, is what my life was like! Then now after finally getting married to her, and what not, I get stuck god knows where without her." he said to her, as he watched her. "I have noticed, but you have a room to learn that and be that way, if you let yourself"
He watched her, as he looked at his wedding band, then back at her. Clark sighed, as he did understand her, and truth be told he didn't judge her. Not by what she did in her past, nor by the way she was, personality wise. Clark had no doubt that she went through bad and tough situations, even he himself went through bad things so he knew how it was like. Also being that he was superman, he didn't went through as much as she did, most likely but he still went through a lot, like fighting Lord Nor, Lex holding him in a kryptonite cage, stuck in a frozen prison by lord Nor, etc. Anyway, he looked down then back at her, and sighed.
"Neither do I, also with all I went through. It's not much fairy tails or luck, just life! I bet and usually I don't encourage things like that, but in this case I will make an exception. " he said, as he watched her and sighed. As at that moment he was too annoyed at the one who did that to them, to react any differently. "Also personally I think making that person just suffer will be better, but whatever" Clark said to her a minute later. He looked around, then back at her as he said the next, and then listened to her, before he replied again. "Maybe straight or something, and try to find a city or something first, and go from there"

Cherry had a hard time connecting with a great deal of people. She didn't display emotions aside from disdain and anger very often and binding with someone... it was damn near impossible to get under Cherry's skin. She was cold, distant, untrusting... and while she understood that this gentleman had undergone a similar loss as she, she couldn't bring it in herself to reflect his look of sympathy, she remained impassive and unreadable. Cherry never showed emotion, it made her weak, it made her vulnerable. El Wray was the only being that knew her heart and even he sometimes grew frustrated with her sarcasm and indifference, of course he paid her back with his own in spades. A match made in hell most assuredly.
"Oh honey... If I wanted a change in my lifestyle I simply would have made it. The life of a one bedroom apartment and barely enough money to squeak by, is the only one I need. Pretty diamonds and fancy gems have never caught my fancy. Plus I tend to hate the human populace as a whole. I'm not what you would call a friendly person." She wasn't, not by a long shot. She was used to drunkards calling her foul names, and shouting out even more degrading acts for her to preform, she had more than once planted her heel through some jerks chest when they had tried to rip her off the stage... no Cherry wasn't fond of the human race.
She looked down, her fingers trailing the engagement ring on her finger, its carvings she could read without reading, it was simplistic, but perfect. It described their relationship perfectly. It wasn't pretty, it wasn't perfect but they always had each other. If El Wray were here... he would be making allies left and right, his casual charm, easier smile, and wickedly sinful eyes... he would have half this world fawning over him and Cherry... Cherry couldn't even bring herself to speak to one person civilly... God damn it... were those tears in her eyes? She stubbornly held them back, regaining her composure with a quiet huff.
"I would be happy with a warm bath and a bed... I really don't care where we find it." Cherry hobbled forward, her awkward gait surprisingly fast for missing a limb. She was determined to drill whoever had done this full of so many holes... no relative this side of space would be able to recognize them. She wanted answers and she wanted them now.

Clark watched her and sighed, as he felt terrible for her. He could tell that she wasn't good at making friends. Being the klutz and shy, as well as other things, made it hard for Clark to make friends too, in school and in work, but over time he lost that part of him, or rather started to, and mostly it was because of Lois. Yet, he never imagined being like the one in front of him, as that didn't help no one, or so he thought. Also he was naïve which was bad, but at least Clark made some friends, which was better than nothing, At least in his opinion anyway. It meant to him, that she came from a world, and a place where she couldn't trust anyone. Clark felt terrible about it, but said nothing, for now at least.
" I get ya, but how can you feel pleased with your line of work, if it shows you in a wrong light? You think you like it, but I doubt that deep down you do, I think deep down you are scared that it might get you to lose your guy, as well as you don't really like it but think you can't do better, but you can, so why won't you?You are engaged, doesn't that mean something to you? Anything? Do you know if he likes you doing that or not? I doubt he does, I surely wouldn't." he said as he watched her closely, then sighed. "In this life, you better be something you truly wanna be or close to it, rather than something you really don't wanna be." Clark added. He watched her and sighed. "That is not good, because what if you two end up having kids, where would they sleep? Also barely enough money to go by, isn't away of living. Won't you rather an apartment that is slightly bigger, but not too big. Just with enough room to move and enough money to go by, but not like rich people? I mean that way at least you can effort nice clothes and to keep house clean" he said to her. Clark just cared hence he said what he said.
"I wasn't talking about diamonds and fancy things, Just something that is more than 2 or 6 dollars, You don't want bugs and things like that to be in your house, and with slightly more money you could make sure of that! No one says become rich, just stable, so that you could effort being with your guy without worries and such. I am not rich myself, as all I am is a simple reporter, but I can get myself a nice house, not a mention or such as rich people, but good enough and enough money to go by. That is what I mean, something simple but to a point." he said, as he hoped that she got him. "Oh I can tell, it is noticeable about you, but you shouldn't hate everyone, just once that really deserve it" Clark said to her, then he sighed. . "A lot's of people might care for you, if you let them" he said to her. Also he could tell what she was saying was true, but he thought she should know, that not many are as bad as she thinks.
Clark watched her and sighed. he shook his head, as he had a feeling that she was about to cry but stopped herself, he looked down then back at her and shook his head. "You can cry if you want, I am not here to make fun of you, it's normal. It is better getting it out, then keeping it in! When you feel like crying, just do so, just cry. And not for me you are not weak, whether you cry or not. It shows you are not a robot, but that's it! Whoever told you it is a weaknesses, lied to you, because it's not" he said to her, as he watched her closely and sighed. "Like it or not, you are real and human. Though, crying is normal and anyone who makes fun of you or anything like that, because of it is a fool, and will be yelled at" Clark added and sighed.
"Don't we all, lets walk around, and see if we can find somewhere to stay, where there is a warm beds and a fire place, and all that! What do you think? Neither do I" He said, as he followed her. Clark looked around then back at her. "Just not left, as there are snakes there, I think as it's too narrow and thin, and what not" he said, as he pointed to what he meant. Clark watched her, rather impressed. "Watch out" he called to her, as it looked to him that she was about to bump in to something.

It wasn't that Cherry couldn't make friends, it was the simple fact that Cherry did not want friends. For the most part her hatred for the human race ran deep. She was antisocial and quite crude most of the time. She was not a pleasant person by any means and this was no exception. The only reason she hadn't already stalked away was one, she had no idea where she was and if she could find a way to get back to El Wray she wanted to head in that general direction and not away from it... and two she had no idea how she had gotten here and if this was some weird side effect of fighting all those mutated freaks of zombies... than it was probably wise to make an ally, even if it was only temporary. She sighed, forced her unruly nature to simmer down and relax and willed herself to focus. Be nice Cherry baby. When you smile baby... the world is yours. She smiled as she thought of El Wray. Such a sweetheart, her baby.
"Doll... I never said anything about enjoying being a go-go dancer. I quite give or take three days ago now. I hated being a go-go dancer it foul, disgusting work and slobs for pigs scream and holler at you while you arch your spine like you're going for a world record... no I detest what I did for a living, but sometimes it's the only work you can find and a girls gotta eat. I wanted to become a doctor... but I think now I'll settle for a comedian... that is if the zombie virus hasn't spread across the world by then." It was spoken with heavy sarcasm but it held quite a bit of truth. When she had last left earth the virus had already taken several small towns. Her eyes narrowed into a fierce glare as he continued lecturing her and her lips pulled back in a sneer. "Who are you to judge me? You don't know anything about me other than I'm missing a leg. Who are you to tell me my lifestyle isn't ideal? You can get lost if all your going to do is talk down to me. I don't take shit from anyone... business suits or backwater inbreds." She snarled vicious and violent, he was pushing his luck with her good nature and this would be the only warning he would get.
She turned away from him then, limping off in a random direction. Pissed, did not begin to describe the simmering mess that had become her blood, in grinded her nerves when someone talked down to her just because she wasn't the ideal picture of society and she really had no desire to keep talking to the man. They were all the same, they all thought themselves better than her in one way or another and Cherry wouldn't have it. He could go find some other dame to pester, Cherry just wanted to be left alone now.

Clark watched her, and sighed, as he wasn't sure what to think. He could tell that she tried not to have friends, and what not as it was rather obvious.Clark had no intention of hurting her, nor attacking and killing her or he would have done so by now, he just like her wanted to go back to the ones he loved and wanted to make sure it happened to them both. He hated the situation like her, but it wasn't like he was behind it or anything like that. Clark just thought that two minds were better than one. Anyway, as he spoke and said what he said, it was more before he cared then anything else, and thought it could give her an idea, but he didn't say that to be mean, also by her reaction he could tell she didn't get him.
"I got that, never said you did, just saying not make yourself feel miserable, if you can avoid it. I have no doubt your boyfriend wants that too, he loves you no doubt, or he wouldn't be with you! I am not judging you. But I do think that if you had the job you worked at before, you can always find a better one. You did a smart thing, I tell ya it is way better quitting what you hate, rather than staying there and suffer, don't you agree with that? Exactly, that is pretty much the kind of work, people like that do if they go to that business, so you were smart to quit that! No one said don't work, but you can always find better job, if you look hard enough! Even a cleaner is way better than this, not saying you have to do that job, mind you but anything is better than that. Be a go-go dancer to your lover if you want, it' not like it i bad, it is between you two! Just find a job you feel right, that what I did" he said, as he watched her closely and sighed. "Be a doctor and why are you so negative? Even if you fight zombies back where you come from, doesn't mean it won't exist when you get back! Don't let your enemy win, why don't be positive, and have faith? There is always away out of bad situations, believe me I know. Where I come from earth was temporary taken by evil aliens, but we defeated them and kicked them out, over time so if we could, so can you" Clark added, he looked around, then back at her. He watched her and sighed. He felt bad for her, but not in a pity kind of way so.
When Clark spoke on he watched her and sighed, as he shook his head, he had no doubt that she misunderstood him yet again. Also he knew not many understood each other, and he was rather used to that, to say the least. Not that Clark liked it, but it wasn't the first time he was misunderstood, and he doubted that it would be the last. "I am not judging you, for all I care do what you want, I am just saying there is better options, if you want them, that is all. You judge me, look let's admit we both don't know nothing about each other, or if we did you would have understood me and I would have understood you! I am just saying, it isn't you because I am not blind, I can tell you hate it, you don't need to be an Einstein to know that. Besides I wasn't born yesterday! It's not ideal, if it's makes you miserable and unhappy, which it does or you wouldn't try to tell me off when you thought that I might be in to go-go dancers, when I am not! You did say 'I don't do that anymore, so don't ask', didn't you? so all I am saying, then be what you want, anything pays better than that, and no doubt will make you happy, be a reporter, a dance teacher, a doctor, a comedian, whatever just as long as it makes you happy" Clark said and nothing. "It is just a friendly advice, no more nor less" he said and sighed. "Sorry"
"I am not talking down to you, sorry if it seems that way! I never do that, all I am saying is don't do what you hate as it is pointless and stupid, which you are not either of those, it means in certain way I admire you, do you get me now or I need to explain it more for you to get me? You are so blind from self-hatred and hating others, to notice the difference between talking down to you, and people who actually care, that is the problem, if I was talking down to you, trust me you will know" he said, as he watched her and shook his head. Clark watched her and sighed, he then shook his head as he looked down then back at her.
Clark thought that perhaps he should have explained it better, as he sighed, as he watched her, and headed the same direction she did as the other directions didn't seem like they would lead anywhere. He wasn't following her exactly, just heading the same direction. It just seemed like a better direction than any other. Clark felt bad for Cherry, because her hatred to humanity made her blind to things that were right there, also he did blame himself for wording what he meant wrong, he just explained in general what he meant, not judging or talking down on her. Clark just meant well even so people misunderstood him a lot, and right that moment was one example. He did think that she couldn't be happy in a line of work that she did, and he could tell that it was the case, he was just talking to her, making a conversation. Clark tried to get to know her, to know what she thought and felt, among other things. He truly wasn't judging her, but he didn't care what she thought of him, because he knew who he was an d knew that some will like him and be his friends and others not, he was used to it. Not to say that Clark didn't want to be her friend, but he wasn't going to force her either. After a while he told her everything he said less, loud enough for her to hear, as he sighed apologized and left. In one hand he cared what people thought, because he was a good guy and if people knew that then they knew the real him, and if not then not but on other hand people didn't always understood a person no matter what, and he knew it as it happened to him a lot, so he didn't care as it won't change him, the real him. Clark had no doubt that one day people might get him, and if not then not, it would only mean that those people and him weren't meant to be friends.

He reminded her of why she hated people. So judgmental, so quick to grade a person. He knew nothing of her life, of the father that beat her, sent her to the ER well over twenty times, the alcohol abusive mother who reamed her for not being pretty enough, perfect enough. He knew nothing of her utter lack of self esteem or self worth, and she hated the fact that despite herself his words still burned her, still made her hurt to hear them. She hated him for that. She hated her parents for molding her the way they had. She hated the world and all of its cruelties, and she hated whatever power had dragged her away from the only person to ever understand. She hated everything and anything about this world because here she was alone again, nothing more than a common whore with no future and no past. No friends, no support system and her only friend, her only lover, her only companion was nowhere to be found. El Wray was her everything... and he wasn't here. Tears spilled from her eyes and she damned this man who spoke so lowly of her. She damned him to the lowest pit of hell for making her feel so horrible, for making her regret her own life choices. She hated him. She hated him. She hated him. She hated him!
"I don't want your apologies... nor you sympathies." She would not turn back to look at him, her posture stiff and rigid, and tears spilled from dark eyes, blurring her vision. "You can leave. Find someone who is more worthy of your stature and stop wasting your time with me." She spat the words like venom. Her heart breaking at the thought of being alone again, she was a strong woman, fierce and powerful in most everything she did, but El Wray was her backbone and she needed him, without him... she was nothing. She was going to be a doctor, but what did that matter if she couldn't have her lover? What difference did a profession make if she couldn't have her best friend? She was lost and lonely without him. His next words froze her, her lips curled back in a sneer and she whirled around, tears still trailing down her cheeks. "You think I give a damn about the world that damned me?! The whole damn thing can burn for all I care! I only want El Wray! On this world, the next or back at home he is the only thing that has ever understood me!" Her words were angry, furious, emotional, sad. He was her world she had nothing else and it showed. Without him... she was breaking, falling apart at the seams and barely holding herself together by her fingernails.
He was following her, she could hear his footsteps, they were larger, heavier than her own awkward gait. She took comfort in the fact that the jacket she wore still smelled like him. Leather, covered in patches. She ached for him, yearned for him like nothing before, no one had ever come to understand her and she doubted anyone ever would again. he was the only one for her, her best friend, enemy, lover, supporter, he knocked her down a peg when she needed it and he pulled her up to the stars when she was feeling low. He was perfect for her, the one good thing she had ever done and now he was gone.
"My hatred is well deserved." She let the winds carry her much calmer words back to the man trotting along behind her. "Humanity has never done anything for me... why should I for it?"

Clark watched her and sighed, as he had no doubt that he wasn't getting through to her. He did explain but by the way it looked, she surely didn't get what he meant. Clark wasn't judging her, but more saying to her that she could do well better, but he never said that he despite her or her life style, only that she could do better, as her current life style or the one she used to have, was bad, and she clearly suffered a lot. From it and other things, it seemed like her fiance' was the only one who seemed to help her be herself, more or less and all he wanted was for her to be what she wanted like her guy, even if he only just met her. Clark planned to explain it all better to her, in hopes that she understood him. If she ever did, also he won't force her to be his friend or anything, but he didn't wish her to see him as what he wasn't, not that he cared much what people thought of him, just he wanted her to know that she was wrong because it might come in handy one day, who knew.
"Well see it as you like, but you don't get me, not that it is shocking or anything, as not many do but I am not attacking you nor judging you! Don't care if you believe me or not. Sympathy is called being caring and polite not rude, it's not like I feel sorry for you, like sorry which is rude, I feel sorry for you because I care! Not in a judging way. Look, you don't know me but I can tell you could do better, not because I judge you but because I think you could be anything you want, just an advice if you will, you really can do whatever you like. Just don't do what makes you feel terrible about yourself or things like that, as that doesn't help! If you feel like being a doctor, don't give up on it because someone makes you do so, try here even and don't worry you will see your guy again, we will see the ones we love soon, just have faith and that will happen" he watched her and sighed.
"What are you on about? I never said you are the one under me that is worthless or anything like that. What I am saying is that you are better then you think, or other think that you are! Which is a compliment. I am not like Lex or any of the jerks you compare me too! Try listening more, also don't blame you as you are not the only one who suffered in life believe it or not. I only see one right road, and that is the one you use" Clark said to her and sighed, as he watched her closely. He felt bad for her but not like with criminals whom he despite and felt sicken by. Clark cared for her, even if they only met, and even if she understood it or not. He looked around, then back at her as he watched her. "You damned the world, not them you! At least not all of us, and if you really open your eyes you will see. Most people suffered, and have no idea whom to trust and what not, so they are mean to all! Some who suffered that way, are still the same even if it hurts them, because that is the way they are! Hey, don't condemn innocent people, some are bad but not all, kids and many adults are innocent, so watch it" he said and sighed. "Most people are misunderstood, ya know! Look I think you are more clever than you let on, so just try to understand people, before judging or assuming things about them, or even condemning them" Clark added and sighed.
"I understand you too, but when you close your heart and hear what you want, you can't see that. Also I guess partly it was my fault too, worded it wrong but the point is I get you, you hated your job, you quit and you were never loved or understood until your guy came in to your life, how am I doing? Is it how your life was? Maybe my life were a bit then your and even if not, it doesn't makes us different but the same either way! As for your guy El Wray, you will see him again, just trying not to give up hope. You will have him, in fact if you close your eyes and concentrate you will see his face and hear him, that what I do when I feel alone and upset, I close my eyes and see the people I care for even if they are not by me and hear their voices, that helps, even if not a lot" he noticed the way she said this, as he felt bad for her, he looked around then back at her.
Clark watched her., as he followed by safe distance, not to cause trouble or anything like that. It was the only road he could take, as he knew that the others were not leading anywhere or anything like it. Once he saw a turn, he planned to use it. Clark wasn't a bad guy, as he didn't want enemies, he just gained enemies because either he was misunderstood, or the criminals hurt innocent people or they wanted power,, and because people misunderstood him among other things and reasons.
"No, it's not! You didn't see everything but I can show you, if you let me! I will love to be your friend if you let me, I can prove that your hatred isn't directed to the right people. If kids in school when you were younger treat you bad or even if your parents treated you like a nobody, or even if both, or whatever you possibly went through, doesn't mean everyone is the same! I am sorry you see it that way but it isn't" Clark said to her. "You think my childhood was perfect or close to it, won't say that! I lost my parents when I was a baby, I was adopted by good people and my childhood was alright but not as great as some others! I didn't have much friends and people did make fun of me, and what not but I learned to defend myself, as well as ignore them" he said and sighed. "Look being cold and all towards everyone won't help you, alright? You don't let the world show you that there are better things in it! Let me show you how the world is real like, if after that you still believe the same, then alright but give it one chance, alright?"

Restless. Untamable. Angry. Hurt. Irritated. Cherry was a maelstrom of emotions swept up into one very pissed off, very beautiful woman. A rather deadly combination. Her temper was a ferocious beast, often times more angry than even the damn zombies who came at her for all manner of foul purposes, a shiver, that had absolutely nothing to do with the bitter cold of the snow, raced down her spine as she remembered how one of the not quite yet zombies wanted her for a much more... distasteful service. Horrified and afraid, she had done the only thing she could do, thrown the wooden leg straight through the rat bastards eye, of course the stick had broken and had permanently embedded in the rotting socket... and then EL Wray had replaced her peg leg with the wonderful weapon that she now used. She had blown enough holes in the man to resemble Swiss cheese. She was angered and it only increased as the man behind her continued to trail behind her like a lost puppy. She was powerful, beautiful, devastating, strong, she had endured so much crap in her life and she had so little to show for it, and still he judged her, pinned her down as one of those women. Screw him. Screw his ideals and everything about him. Cherry had never gotten to taste the perfect life, all she had was El Wray and now he too was lost to her and Cherry was utterly miserable, and he was only making things worse.
"I have no desire to return to Earth. Its only proven to me time and time again that the human race is nothing more than egotistical bastards that want nothing more than their own self gain. Their own pleasure. They care not for each other, only for the next penny that can find its way into their pocket. Even if I became a doctor, the hospital I worked for would charge unbelievable prices and the people that really need the help would be dying on the streets." The venom and the hatred and the contempt she felt for her own race spewed like bile from her cherry red lips.
She listened to his words, allowed him to speak all he wished. She kept her pace angry and fast, despite her lack of a limb but she listened, let his words of apologies and hope pass through her. For a brief moment he reminded her of El Wray. He never gave up on her. He was always rooting for her, always trying to pick her up and place her on the pedestal that she never belonged on. What he saw in her was beyond her vast knowledge, but he never let her quit, he never let her give up. He supported her, loved her, kicked her in the ass when she needed it, knocked her down a peg when her legendary walls of Jericho rose up to guard her heart and worshipped her body unconditionally, he knew every last one of her moods and could defuse even the most tense with not but a sentence or two. He knew her too well, too perfectly. He was too perfect for her. He was better than her, he was better than everyone... but he gave her hope. She was silent for a long while, even as he caught up with her, pleading with her to accept his extended olive branch. Her eyes were hard and unreadable, and the silence reigned, but finally she parted those ruby lips to speak.
"You may walk with me. I do not hate you." It was the best he would get from her. She was not the sentimental gushy type, she would not start crying or sobbing and she certainly wouldn't collapse upon him in affection, but she could, at least, accept his invitation of friendship for now.

Clark watched her and sighed, he didn't mean to annoy her, even if that what happened. Then again, unfortunately it wasn't the first nor last time. The situation with Lex didn't count as the guy was dumb, and understood things his own way, so misunderstanding, wasn't even close to describe the situation between them. Which was why when Clark remembered misunderstanding that happened in the past, he wasn't even thinking about Lex, and everything around him. Yet he did hope that nothing like that, or misunderstandings would ever happen again. Anyway, he looked around then back at her and sighed, as Clark truly hoped that she did understood him, after all he wasn't evil. Which he proved a lot, and now wasn't different, as he saw no reason to be what he wasn't, even if it didn't always help. Clark hoped that she noticed, but if not it was rather fine, by him at least. He will accept it, no matter what. Also because it was the only direction to go by, that meant that Clark had to temporary follow her, and if by that time they became friends then great, but if not then not, it wasn't the end of the world, not for him anyway.
"I see, except you only saw one side of it, there are sides to it you haven't seen! Also, how many places have you visited so far?If you give me a chance, I can show you better side of things, will you let me do so? As I said before, I will if you let me. If you still hate it then so be it, yet give it another chance! You were in a wrong place, where by chance and by luck, you found one person you like. Yet if you trust me, you will meet more, I met some and they will be friends with you too, and nice to you, if you let them" he said to her and sighed. "Also some, like Lex are that way, that is true but not all, not babies or kids, most at least if not all.. No is perfect, like not all are good, or evil! Some are just lost! Well not all places are like that. Not Matropolis or Smallville, as well as not Hawaii, not all of it at least. Will admit I wasn't all over, but still! Technically as a doctor, if you wanted to, you could do your best to get permission to open your own clinic, and show the idiots how it's really done" Clark said to her. He watched her and sighed. "Also I met terrible people too, but they mean nothing to me, my friends and family do"
As he followed her and spoke to her, Clark watched her and sighed, as he looked around then back at her. He meant what he said and hoped that she knew it, but he believed that she did, as technically he didn't hide it. Clark looked around, then back at her as he continued talking. He was going to show her what she missed, but as a friend of course. Then again that was what good friends did, and he was just that a good friend, despite the fact that they ended up on a wrong foot so to speak temporary, as he wasn't like some and he did his best to show it to her. To show her that the world wasn't just cruel, and vicious as well as other bad things she thought, but it was good and happy too. Even if it took a long time, Clark was going to do that, no matter what. If she believes it great, if she still sees it the same way, then so be it. There wasn't anything else to do, and Clark knew it.
"Alright, and thank you for understanding me, hope you do anyway. And by the way, I do not hate you either" he said, as he didn't accept anything else, unlike some others. The fact that she agreed to be his friend, and that she didn't hate him, was more than enough for Clark.. He smiled at her, a small smile, as he watched her, he then looked around and back at her.
