GOLLUM
" They cursed us. Murderer they called us. They cursed us, and drove us away. And we wept, Precious, we wept to be so alone. And we only wish to catch fish so juicy sweet. And we forgot the taste of bread... the sound of trees... the softness of the wind. We even forgot our own name. My Precious. "

HAIR: What little he has is white
WEIGHT: Very thin, maybe forty-fifty pounds?
HEIGHT: If he stands around three feet
PLAY-BY: Andy Serkis does his voice ^^
GENERAL: Gollum is a bizarre being from the top of his head to his rather large feet. Time has corroded him, bending his spine so it juts out against his flesh in an awkward manner. His skin is a sickly pale and almost see through. Hes got large blue eyes that can look deceptively innocent. Hes quick, fast, incredibly stealthy, but has a tendency to have long drawn out conversations with himself. Madness does not even tip the iceberg of the mess that is Gollum.
ATTIRE:Gollum dosen't really wear clothing, at least he dosen't anymore. A thing brown loin cloth barely clinging to his too thin waist is the only article of clothing you will ever find on him.

PERSONALITYGollums entire world including his other personality all revolve around a singular object. The one ring to rule them all. There are no words to describe how much the Ring has tortured Gollum. He long ago passed the realm of insanity and descended into complete mental destruction.
He talks with himself, the two personalities raging within him both Gollum and Smeagol. Smeagol is the kinder personality the innocent one who trusts the Bagginses and thinks they are his friend. Gollum is the soulless being driven only by the call of the Precious and the inner peace it gives him. Clearly a creature that cannot be saved, Gollum will more than likely never be liked nor understood entirely.

HISTORY:Smeagols life before finding the ring was fairly uneventful, on his birthday his cousin took him fishing where they found the One Ring at the bottom of the creek. Sméagol demanded the ring as a birthday present and strangled Deágol to death, when he refused. Sméagol was quickly corrupted further by the ring and, banished by his people, was forced to find a home in a cave in the Misty Mountains.
He lived in the Misty Mountains for over four hundred years, living on raw blind fish (which he caught from his small row boat) and Goblins when he could get them. Indeed, he made a song about raw fish, that he uses as a riddle to Bilbo and much later sings to Frodo in a longer version.
During his centuries under the Ring's influence, he developed a sort of dissociative identity disorder: Sméagol, his "good" personality, still vaguely remembered things like friendship and love, while Gollum, his "bad" personality, was a slave to the Ring and would kill anyone who tried to take it. Years later, Samwise Gamgee would name the good personality "Slinker" (for his fawning, eager-to-please demeanor), and the bad personality "Stinker". The two personalities often quarreled when he talked to himself and had a love/hate relationship, mirroring Gollum's love and hatred for the Ring and for himself.
the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins stumbled upon the subterranean lake on which he lived and found Gollum's Ring. Gollum had lost the Ring while following an imp goblin in the network of caves leading to the lake, though in fact it is more proper to say that the Ring abandoned Gollum, for it was known to have a will of its own.
Gollum eventually left the Mountains and pursued Bilbo a few years later, but the trail was cold. He made his way south into Mordor where all evil was being drawn at the time, discovering the secret stair located near Minas Morgul and surviving an encounter with Shelob. He was captured on his return and taken to the enemy's stronghold and forced to reveal under torture what he knew about the Ring.
Gollum met and started following the Fellowship of the Ring in Moria, and was spotted and heard by Frodo on several occasions. Gollum followed their boats down Anduin (floating on a log) to Rauros and pursued Frodo and Sam across the Emyn Muil when they struck out on their own towards Mordor. Gollum followed them, but after a confrontation (in which he bit and nearly strangled Sam) Frodo subdued him. Frodo tied an Elven Rope around Gollum's ankle for a leash, but the mere touch of the rope pained him. Taking pity on the wretched creature, Frodo made Gollum swear to help them. Agreeing to the oath, Gollum swore by the "Precious" itself and Frodo released him. The unlikely company, guided by Gollum, made its way to the Black Gate, the entrance to Mordor.
Frodo's kindness brought out the "Sméagol" personality, and he made at least some effort to keep his promise. The two had a strange sort of bond from both having been Ringbearers; in Gollum, Frodo saw his possible future, and so wanted to save him so he could save himself.

EXAMPLE:
"We likes fishes don't we Gollum? Such pretty fishes so shiny so pretty, so like the Precious!" Smeagol cooed down at the blind fishes in the darkness of the orc cavern. Above the armies of orcs screamed and shouted, smashed and swang at each other, causing fights and noises and all kinds of distasteful things. Smeagol scowled at the ruckus. "Nasty, ugly orcses!" His face softened into a mask of innocence and childlike wonder as he approached the pool of water. He gently put his fingers into the black waters and giggled maniacally as the blind fishes nipped at his fingers thinking they were some delectable treat. "Lookses! They think we is worms!" Smeagol cackled with delight.
Suddenly his small body ripped away from the waters, terrifying the fish and disrupting the calm silence of the dismal caverns, his pupils grew impossibly large and his forehead descended into wrinkles as a sneer replaced the childish delight with a deep and rasping cough of a shout.
"No! No! No! The fishes are not like the Precious! The Precious is everythings! The Precious is life! We must find the Precious!" Gollum shouted into the darkness of the caverns, charging into the water and grabbing one of the fishes and squeezing until the thing stopped breathing. "Stupid fishes! We eats them nothing more!"
Gollum tore into the fish, daggers for teeth tearing away scales, meat, bone, and organs for little to no care about what he was eating. All of the while Smeagol wailed and mourned the death of the shiny fish, whimpering to himself as he swallowed the delectable morsal whole until nothing remained.
