Basically he has the power in his right hand to cancel out any sort of magical spell casted upon him, or directly toward his right hand. His right hand can also cancel out any sort of methuman/mutant/esper, and divine abilities. It also plays a role in canceling out his goodluck, causing tons of bad luck for him.

If the right hand it touches anything magical, will shred/break it to pieces, like it is shredding/breaking the magic inside.

If his right hand/Arm is severed from his body it will immediately react and re-attach itself to him.

Added note: His right hand is his strongest magic canceler, however it has been in the series proven it is all over his body, just weaker. Also he ends up talking to the thing that causes this, but that won't happen here.

HISTORY:

His Father was always breaking back good-luck charms from all over the world, hoping to bring good luck to Touma, but however failed miserably. Touma was eventually sent to Academy City, by his father, hoping his luck will change.

The first week he meets a girl who is starclassmen and well constantly fights him by sending lightning bolts after him. The second week he meets another girl, one whom needs his help and protection from her church. he ends up helping her finds out all she believe may or may not be lies. Tempts to save her from possible death or memory loss, by finding out there was a spell on her, to cause the memory and health issue. Sticks his right hand in and well frees her, however is hit by a feather. Loses all his memories, and now thanks to me ended up here.

Note: the Feather was known to be extremely deadly, normal human would've died instantly.
