The large inn with its wooden roof and stone sides sat at the edge of the inner city. It was three stories high. It was a lovely building, a good contrast between light and dark coloring. The windows covered with a wooden crossed pattern. Candles in each of the windows, a wreath hanging from the front door and a pine tree sitting in the front yard not far from the front stairs…the whole building decorated for the holidays. Inside the inn, all the fireplaces were going, bright yellow and red flames dancing up from the logs within the stone fireplaces. The stoves in the large kitchen were cooking a winter feast for all. The smell of cinnamon, clove, roasted meat and fresh bread filling the air. There were plates of cheese, dried bread like crackers; cookies and egg nog were upon the main table. There were a few other dishes ready to be eaten. The place also smelled of pine from the trees decorated around the inn, along with scented pinecones hanging. Under the Christmas tree that almost reached the celling, standing at six feet tall… fully decorated with cranberries upon strings had a few gifts underneath, more would come later as people placed their packages under there. The snow was shoveled up to almost two feet around the building keeping the walkway clean with almost another six inches upon the ground already. The day was ending, the gray sky growing darker as night descends upon the city. Snow still coming down steady but the wind was blowing hard. Little did anyone know that there was a bad winter storm heading this way. For all the knew it was a typical winter night with no signs of what was coming their way. ((Click to see the Inn ))

Merlin hiked slowly on his way to the inn, enjoying the snow but feeling rather depressed. This would be his first holiday alone in a strange new world. He wondered if everyone was alright back home, what with the dragon loose on Camelot. He only hoped he would find a way to undo this spell and get back home soon. He'd heard about the holiday party being held at the inn from one of the other servants earlier in the day. He was lucky enough to have found a job in the castle shortly after his arrival in Aledon and was able to stay in the servant's quarters there rather that take up a room at the inn. Reaching the inn, he nervously waited outside for a moment, unsure of if he should go in. He'd only been in the new world a week, and he was afraid no one would want him at the party. But he was lonely and in desperate need of some holiday cheer, so he gathered his courage and went inside to the warmth.

Kicking back in one of the armchairs in a corner of the room, Faith watched the Christmas revelry taking place around her. She didn't take part - though she did have a tankard of nog in her hands - and was content to grin and observe from the background. Her booted feet were up on the table in front of her, where she had also laid her cloak, crossbow and shortsword before sitting down. It was kind of hard to be comfortable with metal digging into your hips and shoulders from all angles.
This place had the best view of the door. She had initially come just to pick up payment for a bounty on a troll she had hunted down, but after entering the warmth of the inn and being presented with a fresh cup of that deliciously sweet festive drink, she had persuaded herself to sit. What else had she to return to? A wooden shack with no heating and no company?
It took a lot to knock a Slayer down, but Faith had only had three mugs, and she had already begun to notice some of the nice farmer boys in here. Most of them were big in that stupid and square sort of way, but others had that salty goodness going on - lean from living off the land with crinkled eyes and big hands. She was a killer for good hands.
"This eggnog clearly has too much nog in it and not enough egg," she grumbled. It was potent stuff. They probably didn't have laws here governing how much alcohol one was allowed to drink and blah, blah. She was probably sipping the medieval equivalent of absinthe. The town guard would probably find her face down in a ditch tomorrow after having taken a pony out for a joyride.
She smirked at this, and swilled the alcohol around, hearing the door open and close as she stared into the depths of her drink. Well, at least she wasn't spending the evening alone.

Merlin stood awkwardly by the door for a few moments, taking in the sights and smells of the inn. He eventually made his way over to the table of food. His stomach growling, he took a cookie and nibbled on it as he looked around for somewhere to sit or someone to talk to. Nearly everyone was already engaged in conversation, and Merlin didn't think he should interrupt to introduce himself. He spotted the woman easily, sitting in the corner alone, staring at her drink. She didn't look like she needed the company, but he went over anyway. He was a bit surprised by the weapons on the table. Back in Camelot weapons were usually kept on the person, especially out in public like this. He shrugged it off. This was a new world, after all. Swallowing the last remnants of his cookie, he stood by the chair across from her, clearing his throat to get her attention. "Is this seat taken?"

Charming walked in wearing his street clothes as he didn't want to be noticed as the king. He wanted people to get to know him and a friend first and foremost. He walked in and looked around there were quite a few people here already. He walked over to one of the tables and sat down. It was decorated very nice charming could tell. He was handed a cup of eggnog and heard the comment of it being a little less egg then nog. He took a drink and coughed a few times. He had to put it down cause the person was right he turned to see the person who had mentioned it
He saw a younger women sitting in the corner and someone else walking over. It was best he let them be there would be time to mingle later so he just sat there and took in the people who were there already. He was hoping Emma and snow would come to the party. He got up got a few of the cookies and sat back down

Entering the Inn she smiled and greeted everyone who had talked to her. She looked around her surroundings and she smiled and nodded her head. Some had called her Mary Margaret, sometimes Snow. She didn't care she'd answer to both. Grabbing a something to drink she stood at the end of the room.
Smirking she walked over to where David was and she grinned. "Mind if I join you Mr. Nolan?" she teased lightly in her voice. Snow took a small sip and she said nothing for a moment. Standing there hoping he'd say yes. She smiled down at him and held her drink in her hand and waited for his answer.

The snow was coming down even more now, it surprised Gabriel with how much there was. It was like a wonderland for him because he never been in a world with this much snow. Most of the day he was training indoors with a handful of knights, trying to keep in shape and improve his skills more and then he was off reading about the history about this place. He couldn’t believe he was playing the role of a warrior, trying to avoid being everything he was created to be. Gabriel had a strong dislike for being a solider.
As he stepped outside of the castle, Gabriel pulled the dark blue cloak with the wolf crest around him tight as a strong cold wind blew past him. The cold like this bothered him a bit. After pulled the hood of the cloak up, he started to walk towards the inn. Normally he would avoid a party or a get together like this but a few fellow knights invited him and they wouldn’t let him refuse.
It took about ten minutes but he finally made it, his cheeks a little flushed from the cold. After walking into through the door, he removed his cloak and shook the snow off it. Wearing the usually knight off duty uniform underneath it. A gray tunic with the laces untied at the collar and a pair of black pants with boots to finish it off. Gabriel looked around at the crowd that was already here, wondering how much bigger it could get.
A sigh was given, he didn’t do crowds well… he preferred small groups after all he wasn’t all that great socially. He walked over to where the bar was and got himself a cup of warm ale before sitting down at one of the empty tables, taking a sip from it. Trying to make up his mind on what he wanted to eat and how long he could get away with being here for.

Clark had heard of a Christmas gathering usually there was just himself his mother and Lois and her family around Christmas time though Clark was curious to see other people in the town. Clark also didn’t want to arrive as Superman he felt that he wanted to try and blend into the crowd as Clark Kent for a bit but if they needed Superman than he would jump in to protect everyone in need, that would mean that he would have to make some excuse for Clark Kent in why he vanished so quickly. Clark pushed on his glasses as he made his way towards the inn and wondered who would be there already he only knew a handful of people already as both Superman and Clark however he would see what happened. Upon arriving at the inn Clark opened the door and looked around, he spotted Faith with another person, though he hopped that she wouldn’t recognize him as Superman whom she had met a few days ago, there were a few more people around the inn and so Clark didn’t really wanted to impose himself on other people’s gatherings. Clark found a quiet empty table in the back and he smiled as he walked over towards it. Every day there had been more and more people arriving from different worlds he continued to hope that someone from his world arrived, he had missed everyone since he vanished that day. Clark wondered how everyone back home was doing since his disappearance a couple of weeks ago though he was sure that they could handle anything. Clark made his way over towards the table and took a seat and wondered what the night would bring, though whatever happened tonight Clark wanted to enjoy himself as much as he can he wanted to meet new people and get to know this town more.

Charming saw snow enter and smiled when she came over he knew she was teasing and wanted to tease back. So he looked around at the empty chairs surrounding his table and looked up at her. " gee I don't know miss Blanchard it's awfully crowded" he winked and motioned for her to come sit by him. He smiled at her.
"It's a nice day out" he said to her and then looked around at all the people that were there and still piling in. " I only reconize a few of these people snow. But not by name do you know who they are?" He was very much interested in getting to know the people he after all this was his kingdom now and he wanted to be familiar with people. He turned to snow " do you know if Emma or Henry are coming"

Rapunzel had been upstairs in her room, tucked into bed and reading a book. She'd been on her feet all day at work and just wanted to rest, seeing no good reason to party with the rest of the villagers. This was always her least favorite time of year. While she loved the snow and the cold, the holidays always made her feel lonely, especially without Jefferson and Grace. There came a point, however, when the noise from downstairs became too loud, and she knew she'd never be able to sleep anyway. She slid out of bed and tugged on her riding boots, deciding to leave on the men's shirt and trousers she wore to bed, and headed downstairs. She rolled her eyes at the overly decorated inn, and at the party-goers - some of them already drunk - dancing and having a good time with their loved ones. She surveyed the room, recognizing very few of the faces. The King and Queen, of course. A fellow servant in the corner. She'd met Clark Kent a few days before, at the stables. She didn't really feel like talking to any of them, though, so she poured herself a tall glass of eggnog and sipped it slowly as she leaned against the food table and surveyed the room.

The place was filling up real fast. People seeking shelter from the cold, Faith guessed. There had already been a few feet of snow on the ground before she had got here - God knew what it was like out there now. She recognised a few of the people who had come in by reputation or social standing rather than by actually knowing them.
The king and queen, obviously, and her eyebrow raised at their entrance. Who would'a thought that people of their station would want to mingle with the commoners? A couple of others who vaguely sparked her interest - a girl, and a dude who kind of looked familiar in that 'didn't I save you from a vampire once?' sort of way. Like, might have known someone who had his bone structure or some junk.
And then a guy - a kid? she couldn't really tell - came over and asked for the empty chair opposite her. Faith shifted, placing her feet on the floor again and putting her drink on the table. For a minute, she was tempted to say yes and watch him clear out, leaving her to her own devices. But then she figured she hadn't done a good deed today, and she was still seeking redemption. Letting him put his ass down wasn't going to hurt her any.
"No, man. You can sit," she told him, even offering a smile because she was feeling warm. She reached out, grasping the belt of her sword, and propped it up against her chair. Her crossbow followed, lying on the floor. "I wasn't expecting company. My table is your table," she spread her hands generously.

A playful smirk appeared upon Snow's face when she got the okay from him. Sliding into David's booth she looked around again and said nothing for sometime. Then she looked up at him when she heard him call her by her Storybrooke name. "Perhaps it would be the best for the both of us for people to call us Mary Margaret or David." she said nodding. "Even if the popularity we'd get would get out of hand one day by calling us our real names. We've had it happened before." she told him. Then her eyes rolled and she grinned. "Oh, Really now Mr. Nolan? I don't think so.." she teased a little in her voice.
Nodding her head she giggled. "Mm. It is a nice day don't you think? Its going to be nice ruling something over again. This time with you around now" she said grinning. Reaching across to take his hand. A small sigh escaped her. "I'm not sure at this point. Hopefully they'll turn up. It'd be nice to catch up in here with them. I've missed them too much to be parted again" she said in a small voice gazing into her cup sadly. "I don't want to lose them again. Neither of Henry or Emma for that matter. We missed twenty eight years of her life David" she said frowning. "I wanna know what my daughters been up to." she said looking up at him again. Meeting his gaze this time.
