The Doctor hopped off the TARDIS, and frowned, looking at the scenery. Well, this isn't the throne room. "You got the coordinates wrong, sexy!" He kicked her, and then frowned. "I'm sorry... Look what you made me do!" He sighed, leaning down to check where he kicked her. Good, no scratches.
The Doctor turned around, looking at his scenery. "Oh, look, soldier training place! No guns! Oh, I love medieval times! So much simpler!" He jumped away from the TARDIS, scanning the area. Hm... Seems to be a constructed world... Hasn't been here long. Interesting... Fascinating! Whoever created it was an artist! The signatures and the layers details are just-Oof! He tripped right over something, and fell on his face.
"And that's why I shouldn't scan and walk at the same time."

Daryl Dixon, once a redneck from Georgia now a Lord. He knew the only reason why he had the title was because he killed the actual lord and just took all of his things. that’s what he thought happened in this time period. If not, well then the youngest Dixon brother would have dug himself another hole. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately, the previous one being him captured by the Governor and all. He was standing there, literally not even that long ago and bam, he was somewhere else. That was all very strange to him. Daryl still needed to figure out how he had gotten here in the first place and who brought him here so that he could return home to the prison to where he had left everyone, Rick, Carl, Carol, and Judith.
Daryl stopped when he saw a place for people to train. He smiled. The youngest Dixon brother could definitely use a place like this so that he doesn’t get rusty on his cross bow skills. He knew it would happen if he didn’t practice. He didn’t know exactly what would happen, if he would end up being dropped back at home after a day for two or not. He would have to work things out for himself though.
Daryl stepped inside to see a man that had just fallen on his face. Daryl just stared at him. He looked strange to the youngest Dixon brother. The man was wearing a tweed jacket, something he hadn’t seen in such a long time, or rather, ever at all really. Daryl was standing there, probably looked just as weird, since Daryl happened to be wearing his walker ears around his neck. Daryl just gripped his cross bow and stared at him. Daryl wasn’t aiming it yet, but wondered if he should.

The Doctor pulled himself up, and frowned, seeing a man staring at him. And he had ears around his neck. Well... That's... Gross... The Doctor got to his feet, smiling. "Um, hello! I'm the Doctor! And, I just fell on my face... But, anyways! Pleasure to meet you! May I ask how you got to this planet as well?"
Hopefully this wasn't a local. If there were locals... Could there be locals? What grants you the title of local? Do you have to live somewhere long enough? Was he a local of Earth? Would he eventually become a local here?

Daryl looked at the strange man in the tweed jacket. He dressed so strangly for a post apocalyptic era, though he was starting to wonder if this place was even part of his own world. It confused the crap out of Daryl but the youngest Dixon brother wouldn’t let that bother him. He had clearly made his own here, accidentally, no not accidentally, killing the other lord guy in tights and taking all his stuff. He didn’t like to have to do it, but the guy left him no choice. He still believed in the kill or be killed thing. that’s how people lived in the post apocalyptic era. Kill the walkers or be killed by them.
The man had stood up and frowned at him, but never the less he started smiling. Again, Daryl was confused. Then the greeting came. He introduced himself as the Doctor. Why would you introduce yourself as your occupation? Then he mentioned being on another planet. Was this guy crazier than Daryl?
“planet?” Daryl asked in his Georgia accent. “you’re nuts.” Daryl concluded. “but I guess it explains a lot then. I mean, h*ll, if there are walkers, whos to say what you’re saying isnt true.” Daryl said. Again, he never would have thought that the apocalypse was going to be zombies.
Daryl just stared at him. He then felt like he should introduce himself the same way that this man did. “so, you’re a doctor, well I guess I am a walker killer. I like the sound of that one. Daryl Dixon. Now, tell me where the h*ll we are because you seem to know a lot, well that or you’re just on drugs or something and believe me, I met a whole crap load of those.” Daryl said to him, thinking about the governor.

Well, that wasn't what he expected to hear. Well, the nuts thing was irrelevant. He was nowhere near a macadamia or pistachio... Or did he mean that human saying which meant crazy? Well, he definitely was that! Then, the man spoke about walkers, and finally for him to explain. The Doctor didn't know much about this place, but he'd give it a shot.
"It appears that I was thrown onto some man made planet. You also seem to have been tossed here as well. Is that a American South Eastern accent I detect? Never mind that. Useless information. What isn't, is that we both seem to be where we shouldn't. And, if I'm correct, we will continue to meet other people that have been displaced from their worlds as well. But, where I come from, there aren't these things called walkers. Um, can you explain that to me?"

The man, this Doctor clearly was nuts. He listened to him speak, said that he was thrown onto some man made planet. Daryl just stared at him. It wasn’t hard for the other guy, or anyone at that to guess that he was from the south with the way he talked. But then his topic changed again, the guy saying that they were somewhere where they shouldn’t be. Yeah, didn’t take a smart guy to figure that one out. Daryl knew that from the moment he had gotten here.
“no kidding Einstein.” Daryl replied to him about the whole both of them being here when they shouldn’t be. Daryl would rather take here over where he was previously. He would rather be here than with his fate lying in the Governor’s hands. He must have been lucky, if one would call this luck. Daryl didn’t. The man went on saying that they would continue to meet people who have been taken from their worlds as well.
Daryl was then stunned. The man said that where he was from there weren’t any walkers. So did this man’s world not go through their apocalypse yet? And other worlds? Sort of made sense to the youngest Dixon brother. Daryl wondered if he should tell this guy any more. Well he would have to right? What happens if some walkers appear here and this guy gets bitten? well it would be one less nut job in the world Daryl thought with a shrug. It does mean that but it also meant one more walker.
“Walkers, the dead. You know… uh zombies.” Daryl said to him, explaining it in simple terms. “if any get here, destroy the brain. that’s how you kill a walker.” Daryl then said, offering it more as advice to the guy. “where I am from we do everything we can to survive. You kill or you get killed.” Daryl then said looking around. He still wasn’t able to shake that habit. He was keeping his eye out. No one could ever be too careful, and careful was something that Daryl Dixon had taken into consideration now. He was somewhere new and he didn’t know the land. He didn’t know what could be right around the corner.

The Doctor frowned, thinking. Zombies? Those weren't really real. Unless they were from alternate universes! Brilliant! A planet that snatches people from alternate universes!
"Alright, I've never heard of walkers, and in my universe, there was no zombie apocalypse. We must be from alternate universes. There are probably more like us. We just have to find them. But, fascinating! A person from a zombie universe! I never even thought it was possible. Well, anything's possible in a universe with different rules. Maybe no anything. Maybe everything. But, nevertheless, I can help you get back to your universe!"

Daryl Dixon looked at the man when he frowned about the zombies. Yeah, he knew that would probably happen. He figured that people would be looking at him all crazy like because of the world that he was from. He knew that to be true. Daryl then shook his head. What was he thinking? They were brought here by something and there was only one world, one ridden with walkers, but the points that this guy was making was just something that made some sense to him, finally.
Daryl looked at him when he said that there was no apocalypse in his universe. So if what this guy was saying is true about universes and stuff, then Daryl would want to stay in one of these rather than his own, though he knew that he would sort of miss it. Daryl liked killing walkers. It was a rush to him. That would be the only thing he would miss. He wouldn’t miss that one risk of getting bitten. That much was for sure.
Daryl then looked at him curiously. This man really was talking like a lunatic. He said that there were more like them and that they would have to find them. He then said it was fascinating to meet Daryl, someone from a universe ridden with zombies. “nope, not fascinating, not one bit.” Daryl said to him shaking his head. “yeah join the club. None of us thought it would happen, sure there were stories and stuff but then the outbreak and a world with nothing left but walkers.” Daryl said to him still wondering why he thought all of this was exciting. It really wasn’t. It was h*ll.
The man then said he could help get Daryl back to his universe. “now why in h*ll would you think that I would want to go back to my universe?” Daryl said to him curiously. Daryl didn’t want to go back. He was moments before getting killed himself, or so he thought.

The Doctor hadn't really thought about it. In hindsight, wanting to return to a zombie apocalypse, well, that was just insane. It made sense. "I understand... Uh... Well, I'm not going to wander around here without a single idea of what's going on! I need to learn some stuff..." Daryl was not really companion material so far. But, he was in short supply. Maybe he was just one of the people that followed him around.
If Daryl knew his thoughts, he might slap him. The Doctor had already gotten a pretty good grasp on Daryl's personality. It wasn't a pleasant one. Then again, zombies aren't known for being pleasant. Why should he be pleasant? Maybe he'll change. No! You're not getting a DIY companion! You don't work that way! Focus!

Daryl Dixon stared at the man who called himself Doctor. He wasn't too pleased that he had ran into a crazy nut job here but you couldn't pick and choose who you ran into. If this guy was this smart and everything and trying to figure things out that made the little bit of sense, yes, Daryl was going to use him to find everyone. He had ditched the idea of him being done searching for people. He needed to find Rick, Carl, the little baby and everyone else, including his brother Merle.
"learn what kinda stuff?" Daryl had asked him curiously. "been here a while, maybe I can help." Daryl offered, though the redneck didn't know how much help he would be in the end.
Daryl just stared at the Doctor curiously. He wanted to keep questioning him, but there was that look that made Daryl more angry. It appeared that the Doctor didn't like him.
"why you lookin at me like that? You don't even know me. Sure, I ain't high society, middle class, I'm a redneck, what you would call white trash, but that don't make no difference. You know nothin of me so stop your judgin eyes." Daryl retorted to him, pissed off. "I spent days lookin for a little girl who's mama I couldn't stand to see cry. I impaled myself with my own arrow for the kid, fallin off a cliff. We found her. She wasn't no little girl no more." Daryl said. It had been a while since he had worked off some anger and Daryl did have anger issues.

The Doctor went to answer what he wanted to learn, but then Daryl began yelling at him. Stupid Doctor! Quit looking at him like that! You don't know zombie universe people! ...That might be interesting to-No! Focus! "I'm sorry. I-I'm old, so I think I know everything. I'm sorry."
He coughed, looking at his hands. He didn't know what to say other than "sorry". There was no use just sitting here. "I-I need to learn first of all, what brought everyone to this world. All I saw was this purple haze. That can't be normal. Secondly, I need to know who caused it. Thirdly, I just need to know what's going on around this town. I need to make sure nothing bad came through." By bad, he meant something like the Daleks. But, he really didn't want to have another reason for Daryl to be mad at him. He probably thought the Doctor was a judgmental crazy person. He wouldn't be wrong.

Daryl Dixon just stared at the man in the tweed jacket with the bow tie. Ok maybe snapping at him like that wasn’t a way to start things off and maybe he went a little over board. He needed to think before he spoke like that too. He was sued to people judging him, it wasn’t until he became a bit social in the group that he was actually accepted and Carol never gave up on him. Daryl let out a sigh. The man looked to be in shock, like he was thinking. Daryl would have apologized but he saw no reason to. He knew exactly what he said and that was how he felt. He hated seeing people judge him now. They don’t know him and everything that he has done for the people he cares about.
The man then went on and apologized. Daryl shook his head. “nah, don’ be. I’m used to it, but I don’ deal with people who continue to look at me that way. Usually its all a passing glance, but you? Yer somethin’ else. Keep talkin’ to me an all.” Daryl started, not really knowing where he was going with that. “look, just don’ go and… whats the saying? Judge a book by its cover? I’m told I aint so bad.” Daryl said shaking his head.
The man then started talking to him. He told him that he needed to know what brought them here. He also said that he saw a purple haze and it wasn’t normal. He also wanted to know who caused it and then he needed to know whats going on around this town, that nothing bad came through. “too late for that last one.” Daryl said pointing at the walker that he had killed. “that’s about as bad as it can get. If I killed this b****** here, then there sure gotta be more.” Daryl finished looking at the man who called himself Doctor.
“if ya need, I have land not to far from here. You can use that to store the box.” Daryl then offered, not seeing the need for this to be a bad relationship.

"Well, sure. I'd love to store it there. But, it's my vehicle too. But, I'm no one to refuse hospitality." He went back to his box, and smiled. "What I am about to show you, is, everything!" He snapped his fingers, and the door flung open, revealing an orange light, filtering from inside.
This was always his favorite part. That moment when someone sees the inside of his box. The, "Bigger on the inside." It always put a smile on his face.

Daryl Dixon took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He was glad that he had gotten that all off of is chest, hoping that he wouldn’t have made the man in the bow tie and tweed jacket mad at him. Daryl knew that he could use a friend in this world, someone to have his back if he ever needed it. Daryl knew that this guy could be counted on. Daryl was snapped out of his thoughts when the man who had called himself the Doctor started speaking to him. He told him that he would love to store the box there, and that it was his vehicle too. Daryl looked at him oddly. How was that a vehicle? The redneck from Georgia looked at the box curiously and then to him when he said that he wasn’t one to refuse hospitality. Daryl nodded, acknowledging that statement as a thank you. He looked at the box again and he then looked back at the man about to say something but then he spoke.
Daryl looked at him when he said that he was about to show him everything. Daryl was now more and more curious. The cross bow wielding redneck looked back at the man as he snapped his fingers. Daryl looked at the box as it opened. Lord this was stranger than he had thought it would have been, but he thought that nothing could be as weird as him being her mysteriously. How he was wrong. Daryl Dixon walked up to it and he then looked inside.
“well I don’ think you’re on crack no more.” Daryl stated looking inside and he then turned back to the Doctor. “what’s your story then? You aint human.” Daryl had then said looking at him.
