The hot burning sun, the sticky sand, the sweat upon thee brow. It is but a life on the desert, here is where one specific character of our story lives. A women, 28 of age, dark tanned skin, light brown hair. One whom has lived most of her life as a savage slave; spying, dancing, and singing. She works for a noble of the desert, a man named Toika Naji. This hot burning day, she was required to work in gathering the attention of men in their bar of a tent.
She moved to the dances of white cobras, it was as if rehearsed. One would think she was leading them, in honesty it was the other way around. She danced carefully in front of three greedy common desert thieves. They tipped her little, however every cent mattered. With enough money, she could buy her freedom. Escape from this hell hole. Course, that was never going to happen, she knew that. Her master every time stole the money away, saying he owned her, and thus her money as well.
The music suddenly stopped, she lost her footing, stepped on a snakes tail, tripped and landed right on the fattest greedy tattooed thief. He instantly picked himself and her up. He held her high anger rising. Without so much an effort or blink, he threw her right out the tent. cuts were mad, burns were created, as she slid on that hot boiling sand.

Frieza was just roaming around the area in his hover chair. Why? Well, he knew that most of these Earthlings were weak but earlier he had met someone who wasn't an ordinary Earthling, in fact she was far powerful than an average Earthling. He wanted to do his own scan around any place that he could find to see how strong these people really were. Sure, he'd have his men go out and do it for him. He usually does that, but he wanted to go out this time and do this one himself.
Besides, Zarbon and Dodoria were capable of handling their own agenda. Frieza had already given the both of them an assignment so they would both be busy. Frieza himself knows to not leave the both of them there without giving them something to do. One of the things that Frieza hates the most is having his time wasted. He definitely would not take lightly to that.
When he got close enough, he seen this woman being thrown out of the tent. Frieza looked down upon her and then over at the tent. He lifted up his hand and then pointed a finger over at the tent and then generated a purplish bulb around his finger. One by one, he shot death beams at each of the men in the tent. "Well, that was fun. I guess I was right, these people are pathetic little worms..." he said to himself out loud with a small grin upon his face.
He turned to look at her as she laid there upon the ground. He could see how they treated her, and usually he wouldn't care, but he had something in mind for her. So, he'd allow her to live. "They sure know how to give a warm welcoming don't they?" he said softly followed by a short chuckle. He kind of figured the ground would be hot, especially in this weather but he didn't really know how hot it'd actually be. However, it didn't matter for he was in his hover chair.

Upon hearing the commotion in his sort of bar tent, her master came out. Dark skinned, black hair, round ears, square face, and a scar. A scar that she had specifically created, it ran down his face. It was with a dagger, a lost tempt of escape. He of course did not leave her unharmed, he made sure she had a deep scar on her back. A cross, the irony, holy symbol of the northeast.
He didn't bother looking at her, his first attention was his paying guests. The dirty thieves, he instantly apologized and said she'll pay for her incompetence. Before he could turn on her, some odd wizard of sorts appeared in a floating chair. Lasers suddenly shot toward him and then the other people around him, all but one person. The slave. She picked herself up off the ground, subconsciously she grabbed her crystal hidden in left shirt strap. Sh quickly slipped the crystal into her hand, slid her arm to her side. Her thoughts partially flowing into it, lighting it partially up. Her new burns and cuts, gradually healed up.
She stared the odd new being, fear and strength pounded in her heart. She did not know to be thankful or be angry. This thing, monster, massacred every near by being. No, mostly the male drunks. He had killed her Master, one whom escaped several assassin attempts. Before she could think, she bowed to him and said loud enough for him to hear, "I thank you."
Her voice sounding a between melodic song and normal common strong independent female voice. A habit she had created, to hide her rebellious spirit, and yet let it burn. She stayed on the burning hot sand, knees burning and healing, the crystal now held to her, a major natural instinct of protection. Her clothes offering little to no protection to any sort of blades, arrows, and whatnot, the monster could send right now. Her shackles black laid out behind her on the sand, burning with a stronger sensation than the sand beneath her. [/blockquote]

Originally, Frieza had only went there to kill the Earthlings that were in the tent because of his hatred of the people. However, the woman, she had just thanked him. He didn't know why, but it was obvious that she didn't like those people either. Her three words made him think and it wasn't long until he had just gotten an idea. If she was against those people as much as she claims she is, it wouldn't be hard to turn her to side with him.
He already noticed how horrible they treated her, and usually it was Frieza being horrible to someone but now was different. The bigger amount of people that Frieza has on his side would mean less people for the Earthlings except for the weak drunks which wouldn't really make a difference. No, Frieza isn't really out to recruit everyone in sight, in fact most Earthlings are weak and are no use to him. However, after he seen the people treat her and knowing how she'd feel betrayed by her own people and being a slave considered she was dressed like one, it would be evident that she would be loyal to Frieza as he was the one who had killed the ones who had caused her such pain. Frieza is smart, and he knows what will benefit him and the entire Cold Empire.
"Oh, no need to thank me. They were a waste of space anyways, wouldn't you agree?" he asked. He then took another looked at her clothes and seen that not only was she all beat up from before but she was wearing slave clothing. Well, he knew what she was wearing earlier when he first glanced at her except, he didn't take a big notice to it until now. "So, tell me..who are the fools that threw you out?" He didn't know why, but there had to be a reason as to why they through her out. More importantly, there had to be a reason as to why she's in that kind of clothing. "Let me guess, you were a slave?" he asked even though he already knew the answer to the question himself. The answer was right there, he just wanted to hear it come out of her mouth.
"That just proves my point, these Earthlings are pitiful. They know more about betraying their own kind growing as a race. It's no wonder they're still a type zero civilization..." he said firmly. He made sure she knew that he wasn't including her when he said that by saying ''they' and not everyone. "I think you ought to start realizing who your real allies are. Look at you, you're in shackles, you're in almost no clothing. They don't care if you live or die, as for myself....I can accept a talent like you. No more will you have to be in slavery, no more will you have to serve these slimeballs.. What do you say?" he asked. He had hoped that she would accept his offer. He didn't doubt she would accept either way, it wouldn't be hard for her to understand that it stands as the better deal.

She raised off the ground, she stood tall, and head high. "Yes, I was a slave."
she replied to him calmly and with independent strength. She looked at her hero more closely, who or what was he? Floating on that thing, purple and white? With gear on him? Was this creature a person of the north? Was he king? Knight? From the many stories... Was he a warlock? No, surely he was a sorcerer, he floated objects and sat on them. " The "fools", were common thieves. They were using stolen money to pay my Master, for food drink and entertainment." She now held her hands, once again, to her sides, she clinched her thumb in one hand, and the crystal in the other. She looked at him directly in the eye, her brown eyes burning with her strength. She listened to his proposal, she gave little to no thought about it. She owed this odd sorcerer, he had freed her, without him, she would have been facing her Master. At the mere thought, her back tingle from the long go scar. "Great sorcerer and Lord, I will go with you. But you must cut these shackles that hold me. You have already done the greatest deed of all, freeing the slaves of this traveling tribe. For that I owe you my life and my services. Again all I need you to do is use your powerful magic to cut these shackles." She hinted to the metal things connected together in a long chain, that was now sprawled out to the ground in front of her. So, she was a slave and well, that wasn't really surprising for him to hear at all. It was quite obvious judging by the way these people had her dressed. However, he wasn't going to say any more on that subject. That was the past, and this was now. All that mattered now was the people who tormented her are now dead as a door knob. He did take a look over at the shredded tent that had all the dead Earthlings inside and he could not help but chuckle. He couldn't help but feel proud of himself for what he had just done.
He looked over at the woman who had just asked him to remove the shackles from her, and so he hovered his chair closer to her and then he lowered it good enough so that way he could get his hands on the shackles. He took his hands and then he grabbed it right in the middle and then snapped each one. Even with the size of his first form, he had overwhelming strength. Snapping her shackles wasn't any problem at all to Frieza. "There, you go, you are now free.." He had freed her just as she asked. Afterward, Frieza waited in the hover chair. "Well, are you coming?" he asked. He waited for her to hop on, and then they'd be ready to go.

She watched as he broke the shackles, sch strength. Is this the true power of a sorcerer? Will she meet more strength like this in the future? She was just glade to be free. When he offered to get on his floating object, she nodded in agreement in climbed up. Her heart pounding, her face turning a tad shad of red under that brown. Her skin heat rising just a tad.
She was above the ground, above what she was once was. She will serve this man to her death. She will be his loyal faithful servant. Not be force, but choice. A true freedom. The freedom to do what you choose. One she had no idea will lead her to a whole new journey. One of great pain and happiness.

(No need to, Gabe said we can continue the thread even when we head to another area)
Lord Frieza dashed off in his ship as fast as he could in the Hoverchair. Frieza was not quite used to a woman just being on him like that. Frieza wasn't one to care about being around anyone, he was more into just destroying things and becoming more known for his greatness than anything else. However, this woman seemed to be different. She was super nice, gentle, and seemed to have a care in the world. This was something that he, himself could not understand.
Whenever they got to the ship, the doors opened by itself because of their motion sensor and he just hovered inside. The first thing that happened as soon as they got inside was definitely not the usual. Dodoria, the pink hefty alien with horns on his head that matched his skin color has a confused facial expression. "Lord Frieza, who is this Earthling upon your ship?" he asked. Frieza didn't say a word, well for the moment anyways and that moment sure didn't last long.
"Dodoria, are you questioning me?" he asked loudly. Dodoria took a step back as he quivered in fear. "No, my Lord...I was just.." he said softly, trying to reason with him. "Then be a gentleman and...GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!!" shouted Frieza at the top of his lungs. With that, Dodoria ran through the hall ways as quick as he could. He knew it would not be best to make it worse than it already is. He knew that if angered enough, Frieza would not hesitate to kill him.
Frieza hovered through the hallway even further, passing rooms and even past by Zarbon, and even some members of the Ginyu Force. He then stopped at a large wardrobe room. "Here is where you will get your new clothes. Many of the things here are for a female, they are brand new and are VERY expensive so please be gentle. What ever dresses or robes or armor you choose to take, they will be yours to keep." he said lightly, waiting for her to get out and take a look at what she wanted.

When they reached this large oddly shaped castle. She could not help but let out a gasp, the doors opened as in magic. The sorcerer must be extremely strong, or has incredible engineering at work. She looked at everything inside the castle, it was so different. The castle was nothing like she had ever seen before, was all northern castles this way? Not only that, but was he a noble sorcerer? How could he afford the all this? Was he also into alchemy? Creating gold out of sand? Her mind swirled with thousands questions. Her thoughts on all these thousands of questions were interrupted by a new voice, she noticed a large fat pink thing in front of us. He spoke to her rescuer as if he was underneath him. She assumed once more that he was like any other Northerner, if only she knew the real truth.
It was obvious that the fat Northerner was annoying her Rescuer, whom she realized she knew not the name. She decided to ask him until they were once again alone together. Soon after the thought crossed her mind, her rescuer yelled at the fat northerner to get out of sight. She instantly reacted by flinching, memories swirling up. They soon started once again, she watched as they passed several doors and forces. Northern Kings were certainly odd things. They both stopped at a large wardrobe room. Her turned to her and spoke lightly, telling her to be careful with the clothes. That she could pick whatever fits her needs. She climbed off the floating object and looked around.
Nothing seemed normal to her. It was like walking into a dream. All the different things. She did notice one outfit, it was brown and was made with a very nice material. Without thinking, she reached out to touch it. It was soft, a little furry, like that of a jackrabbit. The outfit reminded her of the desert dance outfits she occasionally had to wear on special occasions. she shook her head, she will absolutely never wear anything that reminds her of her past life. This is her new, she will start a new.
She turned t him, suddenly remembering what she wanted to ask him. "We never exchanged names, I'm Kida. Yours?"
she stood there waiting for a reply, she knew not what expression to hold. A smile seemed to strong, and anything was just not right. [/blockquote]

Frieza looked at her from his peripheral as she was picking out clothes and speaking to him all at the same time. She had told her his name and then asked him his. "I am Lord Frieza.." he said lightly yet loud enough so that she could hear him. He continued to wait for her to pick out some clothing so that they could continue further inside the ship. For now, he just decided to stay put. As he waited, his mind began to wander. He had realized that considering she was a slave and that he had killed her masters, she had no place to stay. His decisions flipped flopped in his head until he finally decided what he was going to do about her situation. "Considering you have no place to stay, you can stay here.." he assured.
He decided that if he allowed Vegeta to stay on his ship all of this time, then she could stay too. It just angered him that Vegeta had betrayed him because he had favored him so much out of many of his warriors. However, it had turned out that Vegeta was waiting for the right time to strike and then take over, however, just as predicted Vegeta later failed and cost himself his own life.
"Just please, remember where your loyalty lies. I've had other's to betray me out of nowhere and then find out the hard way.." he said in a serious yet calm and formal tone. Frieza continued to look right in front of him until finally turning his head to again, face her. "So, are you ready to move forward?" he asked.

When he finally answered she nodded and vowed to never forget it. After a few moments, and dresses later, he commented that she should stay. She turned sharply, shocked he would offer his home. Nobody has ever been this kind. A place to stay? She could never have even imagined this. He continued to stare forward not directly at her, as if he was in a deep thought. Deep thought into a world, she would never know. He finally spoke of to stay loyal and to never betray him. She was partially taken back, why would she betray him? He saved her, she owed him her very soul.
A few seconds passed, and there seemed a deadly silence in the air. A silence, only he knew, really knew. He finally turned to her, she swore staring right at her, and asked if she was ready to go. She stood there frozen to the spot for a few moments. it was like the air was slowly suffocating her, breaking the trance she looked away, and randomly grabbed an outfit. "Yes Lord Frieza, I'm done."
she said not even noticing the outfit she had grabbed.[/blockquote]

He watched as she grabbed her new clothing and finally told him that she was done. It was about time that they moved forward. He was planning on heading to his chambers where they could finally talk without any interruption. "Very well.." he said before hovering in his chair, moving down the hall way with average speed. He went slow enough so that she could keep up with him. If she got lost in there, he did not want to have to go back and look for her.
To Frieza, timing is everything. As they moved further down the hallways, Frieza turned at the intersection which lead to a bunch of rooms on each side as well as the biggest room at the very end of the hall. That room, was Frieza's Chamber's. When they got there, the doors slid open and they could easily go right in. Upon entering the room, Frieza went back to his usual spot and turned to face the former slave.
"Alright, now that we're here. You may say anything to me that you have not yet spoken of. As for myself, I think I must put some information about myself out and the open that I think you may need to know." he nodded. He was about to give her very important information, this is one thing that should definitely not be ignored. "As you can obviously tell, I am not from Earth. I actually came here for one purpose and that was to put an end to the dreadful Earthlings. You must remember one thing, no Earthlings are our friends. They are the enemy, you know as well as I do that they care nothing about you." he assured.
He didn't care what any Earthling believed, all he cared for was his needs. There was only one thing he wanted and that was universal domination. This Earth planet was really starting to get on his nerves. He was debating on whether to destroy it or to just turn it into a base. "Here, you will have freedom. You will have food, clothes, a place to sleep, and even planets of your own to keep and control...So, allow me to tell you this, it does not get any better than that. At my side, your enemies will fall at your feet in the name of Frieza!" he paused for a moment because he had to think.
He wanted to give her a perfect example and after a moment or two he had the perfect example. "I gave King Vegeta everything he's ever wanted as long as he served as my subject, however, he tried to ambush me and now he along with his race and his planet are destroyed by yours truly." he said with a bright smile. He wanted to give her an example so that she knew how lucky she has it right now. Frieza is handing her everything on a silver platter, it is up to her if she wants screw it up or not.

She followed close by him, occasionally having to run to catch up. Her feet felt a new heat for the first time ever, the heat of the cold. Lord Frieza eventually reached the spot he wanted to go, it was his room, she knew not that, just that it was nice. So nice and odd. He went over to a spot, that seemed comfortable to him. He turned to look at her, she looked at him directly ready to face what he was about to say.
He spoke to her explaining that she could ask anything and did something odd. He said he wasn't from Earth, wait wasn't from Earth? Wasn't that this place? Wasn't it this place, did that mean... He was not a Northerner? Where did he come from then? Another world? He continued to talk about destroying the Earthlings, wait that was everyone here. That was not right, she felt her thump fast and faster. She thought of all the slavery and the other slaves. She felt confused to destroy or not to destroy. She looked at him directly, her thoughts swimming with thousands of different memories, some good, some evil. She knew she could not let her rescuer do this. She immediately started devising a plan in her head, she had to convince him that not all were evil. Why rescue her if he planned to kill them all?
He continued talking, about how he'll provide her with everything. What about them? What about them? It made her uncomfortable, her mind referred to his killing. He not only killed her Master, he killed the thieves, and who... who... She could not recall, she was not paying that close attention. It would not be fair, she had to protect them. But how?
Then he said something, something that made her mind turn. A deadly sentence, deadly words, "At my side, your enemies will fall at your feet in the name of Frieza!" Her enemies. Fall at her feet. She imagined the whips, the scars, and the flashing eyes of all those slave believers. She felt her anger grow to a sense of darkness. Who cares? Let them all die, they deserved it. Even the market owners distrusted her, called her a monster, why? They knew... She was nothing but a lapdog. Even kicked her, the Bastards. She felt her heartbeat quicken, she imagined herself in their position. She felt ambition and the need for power to grow, then she could show them all. She could free the... The what? Wait... No.. This was not right.. she shouldn't not everyone.. Flashes of familiar faces, faces of others. Other people in her position, in her position of slavery. A child crying in the arms of his Mother, suddenly being pulled away. No, not all. Not all. The mother tempting to hand on, tears running, slaver owner grabbing her hair and pulling her back roughly. tears. Tears. No, this was not the way.
His pause ended, he continued talking of another one. One whom he gave everything to. One who destroyed his planet. No, she could not betray him. But.. To kill.. The child's face flashed in her mind. To kill all. Would not be fair. Only the evil should pay, not the pure. She suddenly found courage surging, she must stop this. Yet, not betray him at once, but how?
She clutched her crystal, how... He wanted something but what... What was he looking for? Her crystal glowed seemingly to offer a sort of psychological warmth. She can do this. She then looked directly at him and spoke with a confidence in her voice, "I will not betray you, my Master. However, this world is more then scum. There is something here that is worth more than anything in any other world. Not only that if you were to destroy this world, you will destroy what it produces and creates. This causes you to lose resources, that could be used in different worlds. This world will be better as a base, a hideout, a producer, rather than piece of rocks just left over. So my Master, do not destroy this world because of some pathetic scum."
She changed her position, to have her hand that held the crystal, make a fist to the ground, her head bowed, light brown hair falling. "I will not at all betray you, if you make the wise decision to use this world as a constant renewable resource. I suggest a kingdom of sorts, to rule with a strong hand. Without the people. this world will be nothing. But a Kingdom is a mighty thing, with lots of followers. Who if trained and given gifts, can take out an army on their own. Free the slaves, and they'll never betray you. Unlike this so called weakling of a king Vegeta." [/blockquote]

"A base? I suppose you made a good point...Maybe I should have just turned Planet Vegeta into a base....Oh well. It's too late, I already destroyed it." he chuckled. He was proud of what he did, those monkeys deserved what they had coming to them. If Frieza could, he'd do it all over again just to get the satisfaction of seeing the entire Saiyan race to fall at the hands of himself once more. The so called mighty King Vegeta was not as mighty as he had portrayed himself to be.
"So, you're telling me to free the slaves and have them help me? Hmmm, that might not be a bad idea. Let's hope that they do not waste my time.." he said lightly. That is the last thing Frieza needs is to bring someone aboard his ship and have them waste his time. He would not allow anything of the sort happen like that. "I've always ruled with a strong hand, anything that opposed me...I wiped out with my hand. I'd wipe out this one too but I won't because I know you do make a good point.." He knew that she was right on this one.
At first, he wasn't sure exactly how all of this would work considering that Earthlings couldn't even stand up to one of his low class soldiers. Infact, his low class soldiers were by far stronger than these Earthling pests. Nevertheless, he did see where she was coming from. If he were to get a large amount of them to side with him, they may become a threat to his enemies. Sure, even if they are weak there is bound to be many out there that would find an army full of Earthlings too much for them to handle.
"However, I will not allow such a weakling to fight for me. I will need to have them heavily trained. That's where Dodoria will come in, I'll have him train them into deadly warriors not to be reckoned with. They will receive the best armor and weaponry that money can buy.." he smiled. He could see this working out real well, however before they fought for him he wanted these people to be trained past their limit. He wanted them to go further in terms of power than what any Earthling has ever managed to do before.
"You have my word, I will not destroy the planet. As much as I'd like to right about now, I will leave it alone." he paused and made a full stop when she said the name King Vegeta. He couldn't help but laugh as she brought him up. "You're right, he was a weakling. I would have expected more from the Saiyan King. All it took was one uppercut from my left hand and he was dead. As for his army, they were too scared to even fight me." he started to laugh. "Then I told them to not be so glum because I said 'you haven't lost your King yet, because where ever he is you're about to join him.' and then I killed them. Oh, it was wonderful. Those were good memories..." he said with a satisfied smile on his face.
