Jarod walked around lost in thoughts, it was six weeks after he arrived or so, but he still missed home so. Or at least back to his time line and to earth, or his earth, the one he came from anyway. Yet, while he tried to find away back, he did what he could to survive and got used to his situation, for now as he had no other choice but to get used to it. Anyway, as he walked around he left the city as he just watched people pass by him and sighed, as he just walked around. Jarod then went to walk away from the city, yet when it started to get dark, but wasn't dark yet, he headed back. He sighed as he stopped for a bit, just to rest as he then saw someone walk not to far, as he watched the person with curiosity. Jarod then looked around, after that he looked back to the same direction, as he wondered who it was. He wondered who the person was, as he signed again. After that Jarod just stopped as he thought he saw Miss Parker which turned out that he was wrong, then he thought he saw Zoe which wasn't right, the same with Sydney and Nya. He sighed as he shook his head to that, as he looked around once more than continued to walk a bit more and stopped. As Jarod decided to rest as he hoped that maybe he would see someone he knows but fast he changed his mind, as he continued heading back.

Sherlock had been pacing the town mindlessly for a great deal of time this morning. He did not know what to do, where to go, or who to blame for being stuck here. There were no crimes to speak of, and no violins to play as he juggled the idea of an escape plan. Worst of all, there was no John Watson to irk his curious mind. What was he to do? Study people? No, he'd already discovered that the majority of this place's residents were shallow and simple, and that they all seemed to do the same manual labor. That, he did not want to do. There was, he noted, a gentleman of some sort milling around as he was, looking for something. By the looks of it, he was not native to this time either, and the water that glazed his eye was a sign of sadness. The language of his posture told Sherlock he had been at this for a while, and the silence of him spoke volumes as well. Sherlock watched on from the side, but eventually was too close to the man to not speak. Sociopath, he may have been, but Sherlock knew what proper etiquette was supposed to look like, and maybe some chivalry would get him the answers he could not get at a glance. "Good day," he nodded, his voice cold and straight as usual. He really wasn't great at meeting people.

When someone talked to him, he looked over and nodded with a smile. "Good day to you too, sir" Jarod said with a smile still on his face. He then looked down and back at him. "Are you from around here, or are you also new?" he asked him, with curiosity. "I would guess by the way you look and walk that you are not from around here, just like me. Am I right?" Jarod added. He had a feeling that he was right, but he wanted to hear what the other guy was about to say to that, if anything. "You are not exactly looking rather pleased being here, trust me you aren't the only one! But for now we have no other choice but get used to it, unfortunately" Jarod looked around, at everything around them, then he looked back at the guy, once more. "I am Jarod by the way, and you are?" he said, as he extended his hand, to shake the other guy's hand. Jarod wondered how long the guy was there, if they were the same amount of time there or not. Yet, he didn't ask, not yet anyway. Instead he just watched him, as he waited for him to reply. Jarod's knowledge came mostly from the center, as they tight him all of that, including telling people more or less, together with simulations and what not. Also there were some things he didn't know but he learned them slowly, one at a time. When Jarod run away, he had no idea a bout a lots of things, but learned them as he went. Also, Jarod might seem like Sherlock but not really, because he had different ways figuring things out and what not, but it was true that they were a lot a like. Yet that was besides the point. Anyway, Jarod looked around yet again. And then back at him, yet again, as he smiled at him again. "Are you alright by the way? You look rather restess" He asked, as he was worried, also he had a feeling that he knew the answer, but asked him that anyway.

The man seemed too happy. Well, no, not really, but Sherlock wasn't in a particularly social mood, as he usually... wasn't, and he was evasive to most people's questions. Sherlock nodded first, not finding any decent response in the attic of his mind, and stood still. He looked up, studying as always, and answered slowly. "I suppose I would be considered 'new,'" he said flatly, his face devoid of any telling expressions. He was still bored. So many words, and he was going to have to remember them all, as his memory bid him do always. "I cannot say I'm particularly fond of it. Where I came from was much nicer, at least for someone like myself." He shifted his weight and continued to look around, trying to decide if he should stay in the city or venture out. Nature wasn't as easy to observe as humans, but it was a hell of a lot more compliant with the quiet Sherlock liked to keep. He nodded when given a name, and reluctantly met Jarod's hand. "Sherlock Holmes." He never thought he needed much more of an introduction than that, really. He was the greatest detective the world had ever seen. He missed Watson a good deal; Sherlock had gotten used to having the ex-soldier at his side, if not for observing then for companionship. He crossed and then uncrossed his arms, something about the memory uncomfortable, and then directed eyes back at Jarod. He pointedly checked some things about his person, analyzing him. And then, it all was pulled together by his quick-to-deduct mind and he had his answer. Just as he was disappointed at his lack of John Watson... "You're missing someone," he observed. "A woman." He never wavered in his speech because Sherlock knew he was right. "And I'm always this way," he lied.

Jarod watched him, and sighed. He had no doubt that the guy went through things, things that hardened him. Jarod watched him once more, and sighed as he waited for a response of some sort. He watched him do so, and sighed. "Well, that makes the two of us! Well you definitely don't look like you are from around here, like me as I am not either" he said, and sighed. Jarod looked down then back at him, as he watched him . "Well you and me both, as same for me, where I come from was better, because it was more different and I could help more people, as well as I had a change to do what I always dreamed about, which I can't do that here" Jarod said and sighed, once more. "Just hold in to the hope of going back, that's what I am doing"
He looked down then back at him. "You don't seem to like to be in one place, as you seem uneasy, I know how that is like" Jarod said to him. "I am sorry, I might talk a lot but since we are stuck here, we might as well talk. As there is not much to do here" he said to him. Jarod shock hands with him and nodded to him, as they shook hands. "Nice to meet you, Sherlock Holmes" Jarod said to him. He watched him, not sure what to think of him, but he did seem interesting, to say the least which was good.
He thought about everything he went through, and people he cared for as he missed them, but then he shook his head to that. After that Jarod looked back at him and sighed. He then looked down and back at him. Jarod wondered about the other guy, as he seemed lost in thoughts, as he figured that he thought and remembered someone about whom he cared for, just like he did. If it was the case, it didn't surprise him at all.
Jarod watched him curiously, as he then listened to him again, as he spoke once more. He sighed as he was impressed, in away he reminded him of himself, just a tad bit better than him, if not more but that was besides the point. "Yeah my mom, well done! I never had her or anyone else in my life. I was taken from my family when I was 3, so I never been there when my brother and sister were born" Jarod said to him. "Also a childhood friend, who got corrupted but pretty much you got it right so" he added. Jarod watched him and sighed. "Even if you are or not you seem slightly more restless than before"

Sherlock suppressed the strong urge to scoff. He was going to try and be well-mannered here, as best as he could, and it was certainly a challenge but he would bite his own tongue if he needed to. He sent a casual look Jarod's way and answered with half-narrowed eyes, clearly in thought, "Supposing anyone misses me, I was helping in my own way back in London." He was a great--no, the best--detective the world had ever seen, and the gleam in his deducting stare proved that he knew it. He had figured out a good bit now about this place and about Jarod, but had yet to share it. Sometimes, clever deductions were all about timing. "I don't hope for anything," he said dryly. Except maybe Watson.
Sherlock shook his head, causing a bit of movement across his loose brown locks. He did not seem to understand. "May I intrude to add that there is much more to be done than to talk. Much more may be drawn from observations than from casual conversation. See, I can tell right now that you are not who you say you are, in most cases. The nature of your guarded face tells me so, as do your very well-cleaned shoes. You clean them and dirty them as you see fit. And you seem to be a bit the wrong size for what you wear now, so... tell me if I'm mistaken though I never am. But you, sir, are an actor to the world. A pretender, if you will." Sherlock looked upon him then with a satsfied smirk. This was what he did. And this was why he did not need to talk. "And chocolate. You like chocolate." There was a small stain on his shirt. It was a bit more of a blind shot, but there were few people who didn't like chocolate.
"Enchante," replied Sherlock, mocking some French gentleman he'd met a few days ago, back in... London. Then as Sherlock listened to what he took to be not quite the truth, as he was good at telling lies apart, he shook his head. An acute obervation he tried to say without sounding too cruel. "The second, she was more important than you say. But you need not elaborate. I do not need to know more; you are n criminal." Sherlock kept shifting and he knew that Jarod was noticing. He nodded, conceding to just that. "I suppose I am," he said flatly.

Jarod watched him and sighed. He looked around, then back at him and sighed, as he wondered what he thought about, yet didn't ask as he didn't want to give the wrong impression. Jarod listened to him, and sighed as he looked down then back at him. "Well then anyone you are close to, and who is close to you does misses you" he said When Jarod said the next, he watched him and sighed. "You only hope for one person, I guess a lover or a partner" he said to him, and then sighed as he looked down then back at him. "I understand how it's like, and there is no doubt that you miss people you knew and cared as well as still care, as most of us do" Jarod said.
He watched him and sighed. Jarod picked up an eyebrow, as he listened to Sherlock speak again and sighed. "There is no problem, you can speak all you want, and you are right, there is just a conversation helps to think of ideas at times! As well as finding ways back and what not. That is true, you are right! You are only half right, I am a pretender but not an actor to the world, I only do what I can do to help people who need help, I help solve crimes and what not, like you I assume, in away that is! I like to have everything clean when I can, and when it helps me. Also your shoes are clean too and you got no expression, also that is also how you look when you think. Or when you are bored and want to do anything but talk. Also when stuck here there is no much to do. Also here I am a count but not by pretend or anything like that." Jarod said and sighed. "It's not when I see fit, to be exact but when it helps me get to the truth! A for what I wear now, well it's only clothes I got, a among few others that is! You are close but as I said, only half right" he said as he watched him and sighed, slightly amused a he laughed a bit.
Jarod watched him, and sighed as he listened to what he said next, as he looked over himself then at him and sighed. "I do but not that much, this is rather old stain" he said, which was true. "I am more ice cream lover and pez candy" Jarod pointed out. "So I like to drink something by sorta the same name though" he added, as he laughed a bit yet again. "You seem like you are always in a hurry, but the way you stand and act, talk and re;present yourself. You are also not a people person nor are you a fan of standing still, you always love to move and do things then being in one place for to long" Jarod said, and sighed
He listened to him, as he laughed a bit and picked up an eyebrow. Jarod thought that the other guy was weird, but funny too. He watched him and sighed, as he looked around then back at him. Jarod listened to what Sherlock said next and sighed. "Actually no, Also you are right will admit I do miss her a lot but more my mom, as all I got is her photo, haven't seen her since I was 3 or 2, and when I did see her it was short lived as we were stopped, and she had to run, with my dad, I do believe it was my dad and my sister. I haven't seen them since, but I hope to see them again and be with them. A and as for a criminal, that isn't true. So if you are trying to say that I a, you are wrong, but you are right if you are saying that I am not" he said as he watched him. When Jarod said the next, he continued to watch the other guy and sighed. "That what I thought, we can walk if you want, that way we can observe, chat and not be in one place for too long. If you don't mind"
