The soldier training area was relatively nice, and Faith had been pleasantly surprised the first time she had walked in. Several sectioned rooms for dueling, sparring or practising against dummies and straw targets, with more than enough weapons to satisfy even the most greedy of warriors.
When she had first arrived in Aldeon, she had been worried about how she would keep her skills sharp. At first, she had figured that she'd probably have to just cause trouble with the local town guard - 'cause these fantasy worlds always had a town guard - so that they would fight her. Instead, she had been given free access to the training area, after providing evidence that she knew which end of a sword to hold.
It was pretty wicked. Right now, she was planning on just building up her arms and legs, practise her hand to hand. Few people here were strong (or durable) enough to pose any challenge to her so she was restricted to using the dummies instead. Better to break them than some actual faces. For one of the first times in her life, she kind of wished that B were here to give her a run for her money.
But nope. Of course, the one time Faith actually wanted Buffy, the first slayer was nowhere to be seen. Hell, she hadn't recognised anyone here so far, and there weren't that many people at all. She sighed lightly. Maybe this marked a fresh start for her. She was about due one.
She slowly began to wrap up her hands, careful not to tear the white bandages as she pulled them as taught as she could. Up to her elbow and around her thumbs and fingers, just leaving the tip of each digit free, as she'd been shown and as she'd done a million times in the past.
When she was done, she rolled her head on her shoulders, feeling her neck pop and stretch. She took up a kickboxer's stance, jabbed the air a couple of times, and approached the straw dummy in front of her. Imagine it's a vampire. Imagine Kakistos came back to life and he's just standing there, ready for you to punch his stupid head across the floor. [/i] Faith grinned. "You ready for this, asshole?"Jab with the leading hand. Offhand right swing. Drop to one knee. Uppercut. "Aw, damn it."With the force of the uppercut, the dummy's crude straw-stuffed sack head flew from it's body and hit the wall. She watched it bounce a little, before rolling to a stop on the sand. Well. It looked like she'd need to find another way to train.[/blockquote]

Clark eyed the city from above the clouds, he watched as everyone went about their day to day activities. Clark was out on patrol as Superman, he was just lucky that he was wearing his new costume on the day that he arrived in Aledon or he would have to resort in making one from scratch and that’ probably would be the last thing on his mind right now. Superman had taken a job as one of the royal guards that would protect the king and queen if there is any danger, however Clark was just a common folk nothing special at all. Clark hovered above the city and stayed quiet as he watched everything from above if anything would happen he would swoop down and protect whoever was in need of it. Clark still wanted to find out a way home but he decided that for now the people of Aledon needed Superman to protect and give them hope so when the time came Clark could actually say that he did something with a purpose here. Folding his arms Clark lowered himself down a little bit just so he could see everything more clearly. Clark’s ears picked up something and he scanned the town with his eyes for a good moment before they fell upon the training grounds. Clark had yet to use the training grounds as Superman and as Clark Kent he tended to steer away from them. Clark spotted a woman training in the grounds, he hadn’t seen her before. Clark decided that he would speak to her as there wasn’t much happening in town anyways. Clark flew down to the grounds and landed beside the woman. “You have a strong arm there.” Superman explained with a smile. “I don’t think that dummy would have survived much of your assault.” Superman added in with a smile. Clark fell silent as he continued to watch the woman, he folded his arms and stood still, his cape fluttered in the wind as he stood .

She had been here a little over a week and since she had no job or any in here, she joind the Royal Guard. She wanted to put her skills to good use while in these new lands and that was a pretty useful job... not to mention that it payed really well. She was still not sure about revieling her double identity. But the whole place would know about her true self... if nothing else ,she pure hight would gave her away from 5 miles.
She was bored now and decided to try the training area to actually stay in shape. She had not actually hunted in months... and was worried about looseing peak preformance. So she walked to the area and at first was looking at the girl. She watched as a man in a nice blue and red gear landed next to the girl.
She finally decided to make and entry. She walked over towards the man and the woman at her full 8 feet 4 inches height, and waved at them. She had her full Predator gear on her but was in her Rek'aa personality. " Hello you two... the Hay Doll is not a worthy opponent... but i am. " She spoke smiling behind her mask. She knew the man from somewhere, but was not sure from where. But the girl she did not know.
Being in the Royal Guard was actually a great homor... personally she found it very honoring.

Pouting a little, Faith moved over to the dummy's head and kicked it lightly so that it rolled back to the body. She'd need to start training with steel or anything more heavy duty than what she currently had. Maybe she should start looking outside the city for something to fight. No doubt Aledon had its fair share of monsters and beasts. Old time vampires probably whiled away their days in caves.
She was just about to leave, disheartened, when some guy in blue and red floated down in front of her. Her eyebrow raised, a little surprised, but not overly so. It was very difficult to surprise her. Still, this was kind of weird. She wondered who he was. Maybe a local, though his suit would indicate otherwise.
"Yeah. This tends to happen a lot. Comes with the Slayer territory, you know what I'm saying?" she started conversationally. Her martial stance had dropped into one of relaxation - though anyone who really knew Faith would understand that she could still go straight into battle mode the moment she felt threatened.
"I haven't found anyone to fight since I got here. It's kind of lame. Used to be that there were two of us, but B hasn't made it her business to show yet," she shrugged. She didn't doubt that Buffy would be along sometime. She'd sense that Faith had something that she didn't, and she'd be along to steal her thunder any day now.
Faith tilted her head as another person approached. This one was decked out to the rims. Whoever it was - she couldn't tell if it were male or female - was pretty freaking terrifying actually. All gunmetal grey and scale armor, like a science-fiction-slash-fantasy boss character.
God, she needed to get a life and stop hanging out with dorks like Xander Harris.
"What? Dude, you wanna go against me?" she asked the newcomer in response to the statement, barking a laugh. Well, sure. Faith didn't have any fancy armor, but she figured she moved better without it anyway. Still, she'd have to be careful to not cut herself on the sharp edges of her potential opponent.

It would seem that Clark’s daily patrol routine had turned into an interesting one, he could still hear whatever might happen so staying here in the training grounds wouldn’t be a problem so him right now. Clark turned around when he saw something extremely strange to him. It was some kind of person maybe in a suit of armour that looked almost alien like in nature. The suit itself looked like something that Oliver would make but Clark wasn’t sure about the whole thing to be honest he wasn’t even sure if whoever this was friendly or not though he suspected he would soon find out that question. Clark remained silent as the second person spoke to the woman about being an opponent and Clark did wonder what the woman would say in reply. Clark smiled when the woman replied back to him. “I know what you mean. I rarely go looking for a fight though people usually come to me looking for one. I tend to help those.” Clark replied back. Clark wondered who this B was or what a slayer was actually he would have to ask the woman what she meant about it later. Clark watched onwards as the situation began to turn and if he didn’t say something he guessed that the situation would only turn even more ugly that it had. Clark flew up for a moment before landing in the middle of the two. “I’m sure the two of you can test your abilities without the use of violence right?” Clark explained as he hoped that he would intervene. "Now I’m Superman what might your name’s be?” Clark continued as he tried to calm down the situation, though he did wonder what was going to happen next but he suspected that whatever was to come he would most likely be caught in the middle and have to defuse the situation.

She tilted her head as she smaller girl called her dude. She ltook off he mask and her face was in a scold. " You greatly underestimate others,,. and i am offering that i am better to train with then Hay Dolls. " She told her without any fear. " And i am not a dude." She said frowning. She then turned to the man and nodded calmly. " Training is never relaxing and easy, if you want to train then do it against living oppoments. " She smiled softly as she started taking off her gear and gently tossing them aside. Luckily each item of her gear was made so nobody else would tough it or use it. She was going to train in a fair fight. She was not looking for for trouble, she was looking for a good training pratners. " i am Rek'aa... or know as Hunter when i am armored. " She smiled at Superman and also the girl and then she remembered. " Oh and Superman... nice to meet another Guard. " She nodded again,

Faith held up her hands to the armored girl - as she could see it was a girl now that the mask was off. And what was all that about anyway? Did she think she was like, Darth Vader or something? But Faith wasn't looking to cause trouble, so she didn't let that thought turn verbal. Not right now. "Hey, chill. We're all cool here, am I right?" she grinned. She kind of wanted a sparring partner, and maybe this girl would prove to be a challenge of sorts.
Not today though. Blue-and-red guy was looking to stop them before they even started. "Superman? No kidding," she responded to his giving his name. God damn, Harris would be jealous. She wasn't going to make it apparent, 'cause Superman obviously was real, but she thought he only existed in comic books.
"I'm Faith Lehane. Slayer by trade," she told them, and then wondered quietly how strange this world really was. If Superman existed, then maybe Rek'aa - and damn, she was going to need a nickname - came from a fantasy land too. And that meant that maybe her world - vampires and demons and the Hellmouth and the Scooby Gang - was all a fantasy land.
That couldn't be right. She knew she was standing right here, real as the day she was born. Maybe it was parallel universes. Ugh. She needed to stop thinking so much. None of it mattered anyway. At the end of the day, she was here, and they were here.
"Both of you are guards?" she asked to distract her busy mind, and then felt kind of dumb. It was pretty clear from their discourse that they were. It might not hurt her case to have a couple of connections in the guard.

Clark had hoped that these two people wouldn’t start up a fight in the training yards however it would seem that they were only blowing of some steam and general banter at one another. Clark sighed in relief as things began to turn better for the situation. Superman hadn’t really shown himself properly here in Aledon except for a few saves here and there that got him the job of being a royal guard however he was happy that there was a few more royal guards around the place like this person for instance. The person revealed herself by uncovering her mask, he nodded at her words. “A pleasure to meet you as well.” Clark replied back. Superman had no mask whatsoever people could clearly see his face, however when he was Clark Kent he did have a mask and was a complete idiot so he hoped that he was able to fool these two if they saw him in his civilian gear. Clark pushed the thoughts from his mind he would deal with that situation when the time came for him to deal with it. “Well I’m glad everything is sorted out.” Clark explained with a smile. Clark smiled at Faith’s response to his name. “Yes I am indeed Superman.” Clark explained. Clark was glad that there were more people arriving that looked like they were on the side of good not evil. Clark continued to wonder if the good could actually form an alliance with each other and help the town out, just like his own Justice League back home. “If you ladies wish to continue to train and test each other than by all means go right ahead and spar. I might have overreacted a little and I do apologize for that my thoughts were of you two ripping each other to shreds.” Clark explained with a smile. “Yes that’s correct. I’m with the royal guards. What do you do around here?” Clark asked as he tried to continue the conversation.

" Well we actually have not even started to train yet. " She said to Superman smiling and then shrugged. " But i am up for training at any time... i have not hunted in months so i am getting slow and soft. " She explained to Superman and Faith. " If you like all 3 of us can train against each other... i am sure we can all learn from one another. " She smiled softly loking down at them both.
She then grew serious. " i only rip Bad Bloods to shreads... Bad Bloods are predators that have brocken the laws... everybody else who is worthy... i Hunt. " She said with a serious face and nodded, but then spoke again. " But i do not Hunt my friends by the way. " Rek'aa smiled softly
" i am only on the Royal Guard for now, watching over the outer gates... but i plan to settle down and buy a larger area of farmland and start a new business... like i had back home. " She told him and then had an idea. She would try to form a team of heroes to keep the kingdom safe. " I am also putting together a team... people with special talents... maybe you two might be interested in joining " She said towards Superman and Faith and meant the talents as powers. She looked at them both and stayed silent.
She knew that a single figher could be easily taken out... but as a team they would be invincible. She knew that from experience... and lots of it!

Faith absorbed all of the information quietly as the other two spoke. She wondered what a Bad Blood was. Sounded like a kind of vampire. Maybe a vampire cult - God, they always had such stupid names. What, did they think it made them look cool? Angel's little foursome had had a gang thing going on back before he was ensouled - a name and that. They probably even had cutesy membership cards and junk.
"It's five by five. I'm up for a fight anytime. None of the knights here are really any sort of good when it comes to me. I can snap 'em like twigs. After the first one, they kinda made me use the dolls instead," she shrugged carelessly. She'd take on anyone who thought they could beat her. Very few had actually done so - one of those was Buffy, another was Angelus, and she had gotten a lot better since she had fought either of them.
Not that she was cocky. Well, not too cocky. She knew not to underestimate her opponents, even in a friendly fight. The younger, new Slayer her might have been stupid enough to jump into things head first, but at least she had learned a little caution in her later years.
Ha, later years. Next thing, she'd be pushing a pair of glasses up her nose or yapping on about prophecies and books and the Watcher's council like old G-Man. "I just figured I could use some people in the guard. You know what I'm sayin'?" she explained to Superman about her query regarding their being in the guard.
She turned to Rek'aa then. "And my bad, Rex, but I don't play well with others. Last time I was in a crime fighting gang I killed a guy," she shrugged again in a 'whoops' sort of way.
