GENERAL: Jake is rather on the short and thin side. Unlike any other boy his age he isn’t very masculine at all. Even though knowing that fact, Jake will still help anyone that is need. He has bright blue eyes that really stand out from the rest of him. One can usually find Jake running around the town, train, or just messing around. He also has a giant scar across his chest which he got in battle at the age of fourteen.

Overall Jake is a very kind and a energetic person. He is not that all that smart and tends to get himself lost easily. He has a horrible sense of direction even in the most familiar places he would get himself and someone would have to come find him. Jake is also very clumsy. He usually trips over just about anything even his own two feet. It’s surprising that his father wants such a clumsy person as a knight. Like everyone else in his family, Jake is a very stubborn person. He will not do something he doesn’t want.
Jake is very outgoing and loyal to his friends and family. He tends to be a little native and will believe just about anything. He is also willing to do just about anything for others even though he doesn’t know them. Jake likes to help out people in need and will do it without thinking which usually got him in trouble back in his world.

WEAPONRY: Just a plain old sword, which was given to Jake as a six year old as a birthday present.
HISTORY:
Jake and his twin Jacob were born on February forth during a huge blizzard storm outside. The two of them were born into a family of knights that served the royal family for generations. At the age of four the Cartney family was blessed with another child, a girl who was named Jenny. Although Jake didn’t really seem to care for having a younger sibling. A year since then has past and Jake’s father became the head knight of Umacia. This is when the young five year old Jake started to developed his magic. At this point in time, he would randomly set things on fire without even knowing it was he that did so. Nathan and Jennyfer decided to hire a tutor for their son to help him learn to control his magic. The tutor did help some, but Jake was unable to fully control his magic in any shape or form. For his sixth birthday, the two twin brothers both got swords as there presents. It was from now on Jake and Jacob would be training as knights just like every male in their family did.
Four years had passed since the twin boys started their swordsmen class. Both Jake and Jacob were great with their weapons and the other class the two had to take. The only problem the ten year old Jake had was that he didn’t know how to gain full control. He was fine and dandy when he wasn’t upset, but other than that when he got upset there was no telling what would happen. Once again, his parents tried hiring another tutor, but they could only do so much. As the boys hit their preteens, they were much skilled with the sword and were getting ready for careers with their father and older brother.
At the age of fourteen, there was a giant battle going on around the castle the boys grew up at. The twin boys were of age to be fighting for their kingdom. Jake, who wanted to play hero, went off on his own, disobeying orders to go protect the gate to get into the palace. The fourteen year old went into the forest to try and ambush some of the Bilkian knights although Jake’s plan didn’t work the way it supposed to. In the end, he had gotten himself mortally wounded and some of his father’s men were kill trying to save him, but somehow the Kingdom of Umacia won the battle no thanks to what Jake had done. After the battle was over, Jake was rushed to a doctor and somehow survived his injury although he was grounded for about a year.
Now at the age of sixteen Jake’s twin Jacob was made a knight of his beloved kingdom. However, Jake was not due to him failing his exam. At this point, Jake was jealous of what happened. It was unfair because he had studied for days while Jacob goofed off. During the party of his brother success, Jake went off into the forest alone. He was depressed of what had happened and didn’t really understand it. He only made it an mile out before he was attacked. He didn’t know by whom, but there was a flash of light and then darkness…

Maybe he should have listened to his father. He had no clue that for punishment his dad would send him to East City by himself. Jake did not know if he was sent here to do some more alchemy training or what. The only good thing that came out of this had to be that he would free from his father for a couple of days or so. He had already been here for an hour or so and already seemed to get himself lost. It has been while since Jake actually came here. It had to be at least two or three years now. Last time he was here, He had a giant fight with his father and he ran off on own. “Now what did I do?” The fifteen year old asked himself. There was no way he would be able to get a room for the night or even some food. He was broke and his father didn’t send him off with any money. Plus, it wasn’t likely that someone would hire a kid for a couple of days. Jake had no idea what to do; he was pretty much screwed himself when he yelled back at his father earlier today.
There was nothing that could be done. If he tried to go home, his father would most likely just send him back. Plus, he had no money to buy a train ticket back to Central. Jake was just struck in East City without any money for food or shelter.
