Jareth has his own personal style as well. His eyebrows are both arched, and he always wears eye shadow. There also seems to be glitter involved in what he wears. Jareth also has a paler face complexion, paler than most.
ATTIRE: Jareth usually wears a ruffled white shirt with a black vest over it. He is also seen wearing gray tight pants and boots. He also wears black gloves over his hands. Jareth also will wear a brown leather jacket that is ripped at the bottom and has a large collar on the back. When he is in Sarah’s hallucination, Jareth wears a blue formal wear. STRENGTHS: some of the Strengths that Jareth has is his magic and the fact that he can be very manipulative, being very convincing to people.
WEAKNESSES: Jareth has a small weakness for Sarah. He never intended on hurting her and developed a love for her. He also looses his power over someone if he is told that he has no power over them. In his own world, Jareth cant be harmed by anything, being immortal but in this new world Jareth can be harmed by weapons even though he doesnt age.
QUIRKS/HABITS: The Goblin king loves to play games and up stakes if needed. He also has a tendency to be cruel to people when he really doesn’t mean to. He also has a tendency to disguise himself as different people or an owl.

PERSONALITY Jareth isnt a person to come out and be compassionate too. He is cunning and can be very manipulative and controlling. Being manipulative, Jareth tries to get people to do what he wants, offering them their dreams. He loves to be in control of a situation which was why he started getting really worried when Sarah was getting closer to the center of the Labyrinth. The Goblin king can be kind though, and does love since he shows that he does care a lot for Sarah and hates that he cannot “live within her”. Jareth also gives chances to people, a chance to accept his offers before he they make up their mind completely.
Jareth also isnt necessarily an evil character. He is more amoral, seeking to please Sarah though the movie. Jareth is also very intelligent and uses other people‘s weaknesses to his advantage, though with Sarah, that didn’t work as well as he had planned. Jareth is also a very stubborn person, and doesn’t have the will to give up so easily even if it means cheating to get what he wants. Jareth can show sadness, which is seen when Sarah got closer and closer to Toby before jumping and defeating him. Jareth can also have a cruel personality, one that doesn’t always empathize and sympathize with people.[/SIZE]

HISTORY: Little is known about Jareth‘s past. He is the king of the Goblins but not a goblin himself. Jareth appears to Sarah Williams after she wishes her baby brother away. When she says that she wants him back, Jareth tells her that he would offer her dreams to her as long as she forgets about him. She refuses and he says that she can have her baby brother back if she can solve his Labyrinth within thirteen hours. He transports himself and Sarah to the Labyrinth and then leaves her, returning to his castle.
He stays inside his castle with Sarah‘s baby brother Toby. Jareth then sends Hoggle into the Oubliette to free Sarah and take her back to the beginning. Jareth appears to Sarah and she tells him that the labyrinth is a piece of cake. He takes away hours from the time and sends a machine after them. Jarath still keeps an eye on Sarah and Hoggle and when Hoggle was about to go rescue Sarah after Ludo disappeared, Jareth told Hoggle that if he didn’t give her the peach that he had drugged, then he would send Hoggle into the bog of eternal stench. Jareth watched Sarah bite the peach and he appears in the dream ballroom where he attempts to seduce Sarah. He almost succeeds, realizing that he had feelings for the girl and she breaks out of the dream like state. Jareth continues to wait in his castle with the baby and she makes it to the city. Jareth, now fearful, sends his goblin army to stop her. She makes it to the castle and finds Jareth and Toby in a maze of stairs. Jareth still tries to get her to give up her quest and stay with him forever. She refuses and she says that he has no power over her.
Jareth acknowledges defeat and he returns Sarah and Toby home. Jareth turns into an owl and sees Sarah celebrating in her room with the friends she made along the way in the labyrinth.
Jareth had then appeared inside a forest, not knowing where he was, away from his castle and his labyrinth. Using his magic, the Goblin king is trying to find a way back home and back to Sarah, whom he still watches once in a while.[/SIZE]

He folded his arms across his chest as he tried to decide on what he should do next. None of his goblins were here with him which made things a little more difficult since he didn’t have his army and didn’t know what kind of dangers would befall the near immortal man.
Jareth made one of his crystal orbs appear in his hand and he tossed it up in the air and watched it float away. He made a second one appear so that he could scout the area, with out having to move at all. He needed to keep himself safe, and not knowing what land he was in and how he even got here, being a powerful sorcerer himself, he wanted to be extra cautious. All that he was able to see was a city. That would be a good start for the Goblin King. He had transformed himself into the white barn owl and flew off.
