Ruby lay strewn across the ground, the thick snow was fluffed and freshly fallen, seemingly pillowing her lithe bodice in its caress. Her signature red cloak was torn and shredded having fallen haphazardly in the white element stained with the precious ruby liquid of life. The dark stain soaking into the damp material and creating an ugly visage.
Ruby herself lay still in the bitter chill of morning, frozen and unmoving. Her lips were blue from the frost and her cheeks had turned pale instead of a rosy pink, her hair strewn about in disarray and her body bent at an awkward angle. Her chest rise and fell with great difficulty as she struggled to draw new breath, as blood as bright as her cloak soaked into the snow white element, staining it beyond comprehension, and tainting the innocence of these surroundings.
A thick, steel tipped arrow pierced her abdomen and lay siege to her body. The hunter had not missed the wolf and the arrow had struck true. Red moaned, eyelids fluttering as waves of colors swirled back and forth between her eyes, a mix of gold and emerald. The searing pain was enough to draw her shifting gaze, the wolf unable to fully retreat so long as such a thing was protruding from her flesh.
Red had ventured out here alone, to undergo the transformation but it seemed she had strayed too close to a village and one of their hunters had struck with deadly accuracy. It wasn't a fatal injury but it surely would turn into one if she didn't stop the bleeding and to do that, she needed to get it out. Grinding her teeth she gripped the wood and prepared to pull...

Hunter was roaming the mountains just for fun. She was actualy singing to herself as she jogged. Suddenly she was a figure not too far away lying in the snow. She took a few steps towars the figure and found the person very still. She cursed under her mask and ran towards the figure, who trurned out to be a very nice lady. She stodied herfro only a short second, analising the situation. " Do not be afraid of me. " Was all she sais and very gently picked her up, very carefull to not hurt her. " Do not pull that out... i will hep you. " She said. Her hunter in her wanted to just leave her there, whaching her die. She lewered her slightly and readind her Plasma Caster. She saw a fallen tree and shot at it with a low powered blast. The tree caught flame instantly. and she rushed her over the the war,th of the large fire. Rek'aa put her down very gently and then opened her Medicomp. For a few seconds, she felt like wanting to leave, She even stood up and for a second stood there. She then grunted and kneeled down next to her. Sure, she was in her predator gear, and almost naked, he arms and legs almost bare. But she was not cold. She ripped a larger peice of her dress off and took the arrow. She not too gently started cleaning the blood around the arrow and soking the blood directly from the injury. She then tore a smaller bit off the dress and made a ball from it. " Open wide... this will hurt a bit. " She said as she put the cloth in her mouth and held her down at her chest and legs. She pulled pulled out the arrow and for a second wanted to restab her in the head with it. She glarred at the arrow and then tossed it away. What is happening to her? why is she wanting to be more agressive? Asfter a few seconds, she asked the woman. " What happened? " Was all she asked.

Ruby had never been harmed during one of her transformations, at least never like this. It was difficult for her to cope. Her eyes became a litany of colors, changing constantly back and forth, flickering from the gold of the wolf to the emerald green of Red's. She couldn't release the wolf, not so horribly injured, her canines were still too long, her vision and hearing too acute. It was painful. Wickedly so, it hurt worse than the damned arrow. The blow to the wolfs pride, coupled with the agony of being struck down, was a harder blow to Red's heart than any weapon could ever make.
Before she could pull the piece out a woman appeared at her side. It was difficult for Red to stop the snarl from bubbling up through her vocal cords. The beast was wounded and frightened and it wanted nothing near it, but Ruby could tell the woman only wished to help and forced the beast away, grinding her teeth and fighting through the pain.
"T-thank you...m-my name is Red." Red stuttered as much as she could but it came out more of a growl, the beast was fighting her for control, it was a raging battle, she barely registered the cloth being placed in her mouth, but she did feel the weight on her chest as the woman held her down. As the arrow was pulled free, Ruby's eyes bled to gold and the roar that ripped free from her vocals was purely animalistic. A roar of pain that echoed far and wide, and then Ruby lay still. Her chest heaved as she forced herself to breathe, to conquer the pain.
"I..." Ruby struggled to find her voice, her canines slowly receding her face becoming a little less elongated, her claws reverting back to nails, and the gold slowly trickling from her eyes as she returned to herself. Ruby could feel the beast recede, to lick at its wounds and heal, awaiting the next full moon, and Ruby licked her suddenly dry lips. "I was running through the forests, I drew to close to a hostile village and a marksmen hit me an arrow, his aim was apparently better than I could outrun." She winced as the pain came back full force.
She wasn't sure she wanted to tell the woman she was a werewolf just yet, that's not something you threw into everyday conversation and certainly not in conversation with a stranger. Most of her close friends accepted her, realizing that her intentions were true and good of heart, but that did not mean everyone was so kind, that was proven today by the neighboring village.

(really sorry if is is too short ) She studied her face, fangs, and also was like constantly growled and snarled at. Her Hunter side was also bangin at its cage. She would have to ask her what is her problem with Rek'aa. As she pulled the arrow out, she know that by the yell that there was something different about the girl... something very different. She could not control herself and also let out a growl of anger, She punched a smaller boulder that was within reach and her punch broke it in two. She had to take a few deep blreaths to calm down enught. Maybe Red here was also an enhancement... enhanced and made slightly animalistic while being experimented on. " was the person blind to she that you are a human or what? How the hell can you even run in this kind of weather like this? " She asked and then shook her head. She then slimed a bit... sais the girl who is partially naked and over 8 fee tall, wearing alien tech, gear and weapons. " You can answer later. Rest now." She said then put the cloth on the injury and held it there.

Ruby grinded her teeth forcing her body to relax and her heart rate to decrease. She needed the wound to clot without loosing much more blood, the only way that was going to happen is if she calmed down. Lowering your heart rate slowed down the blood flow, if you slowed down the blood flow you didn't bleed out as fast. Ruby winced as another wave of pain crashed over her side, panting slightly as she began to sweat. It was the one downside to the wolf. She had incredibly endurance, excessive strength, sight, hearing, smell... but healing was not in her ability list.
Red struggled to focus, to ground herself by listening to the womans words, she was dressed strangely and had an odd bit of what appeared to be armor, but Ruby paid it no mind. If she was willing to help a complete stranger for no apparent reason she was aces in Red's book. Normally she wouldn't bare her soul to a complete stranger, but she supposed special circumstances called for an exception.
"I'm not human." Red gasped, fighting against the pain. "Werewolf. During my run I drew too close to a neighboring village. they thought I was a threat coming to kill them, so they shot at me." Ruby moaned out. Writhing in the snow, and attempting to say as still as possible. "The wolf enhances all of my senses, sight, sound, smell, taste, running through the blizzard is as simple as a child running through a meadow for me."
She hoped beyond all hell that the woman wouldn't suddenly decide she was a monster and run her through, God only knew it wouldn't be the first time Ruby had been shunned due to her curse.
"If its not to much trouble, please keep talking, it helps distract me from the pain." Ruby was not beyond begging. She needed this stranger for the time being. She didn't know if she could limp back to the nearest village without bleeding out... her life was in this strangers hands.

" Werewolf?i understand now... i am not too stnned... not much can surprise me, Red... .i can clot the inury but it might be not too pleasant. " She said as she removed her weight from the girl and opened the medicit. She also took out a blue colored goo. all the wile talking. " i am half human too... but i was not born in this dimension. " She spoke. She looked aroun and saw a smaller rock within reach. She took it ans scince it was soft, she crumbled it and took one last bit from her clothing. She dumped it on the clothing and added a bit of goo to it. She used the clothi and mushed it together. She then extended her wrist blades and held it over a smaller flame that was within reach for her. " if you want i can have a talk with the villaers... to convince them not to shoot at any wolf again... i could have a not so friendsy talk with them." She spoke while she worked. " I am not one to talk much but if it is needed... i can talk all day about anything... and i know a lot about injuries and pain too " Rek'aa then looked at her blades and found it hot enught already. She then spoke again. " i know not use my dagger to clot the wound. " She informed her as she scooped some healing debris up to the hot blade and the effect made it into a musshy goo. She then scopped it off and gently lowered it towards the injury. " This will be nice and warm. " She snodded as she placed it over and around the injury.. And not to cool it off and make it stick and heal you. She then took a large handful of snow and put it on the much to make it cold and finish the clotting. " There you go... all patched up... but she still need to rest a bit. " She informed her and stood up. She already turned around to leave as she was done with the situation.

Werewolf, Lycan, Child of Luna, Child of the Moon, all of these words had been used to describe her at one time or another, along with a variety of foul and distasteful terms. She had never paid them much heed, having dealt with them for years. It was always nerve-wracking when telling someone for the first time because you could never guess their reaction. It ranged from terror, to awe, to fear to wonder. No two reactions had ever been the same and no one had ever been as devastated when Red came too and found the love of her life ripped to pieces in the snow, his blood staining her mouth and hands like some macabre painting.
"Half human?" Ruby focused on her words, let them calm her runaway heart. The conversation gave her something to focus on. "What is the other half? And what dimension have you come from?" Ruby's words were not biting or harsh, merely curious, eager to hear more from this stranger. Perhaps she could repay her for this kindness with something from the Inn?
"No! Please! Don't harm anyone for my sake, they were merely protecting their people! Nothing more! I cannot fault them for trying to keep their people safe!" Ruby pleaded. She had taken enough innocent lives in her time. She need not take anymore. Control was something she had worked hard to obtain and now that she had... she never wished to take another innocent life. Not unless she absolutely had too.
Ruby watched the woman as she cooped some strange goop onto her blade and then onto her injury. Red almost moaned at the sweet relief it brought her body. It was followed by the cold press of snow and the combined sensation sent goose bumps skittering across her flesh.
"Thank you...for everything you have done. What is your name?" Ruby wished to know the name of her savior, whoever they were... they were a friend in Reds book.

As the girl wanted to know her name, she stopped an turned around. "My name is Rek'aa... I am half human and half alien... and i was forced here from a much more advanced dimension. " Rek'aa said and nodded slightly. " Wery wll... i will not hurt them... but if any of them would hunt in this area again... i will not be so kind... and i understand you... but do not plead to me... i can not stand any godd person who begs. " She said and then shook her head. " where do you live? you can not travel far like this... i will take you to satety but i need to know where you live. " She tilted her head waiting for an answe. She then bent down and grabbed the red cloack and covered the girl with it. She then gently picked her up and as she stood there, she looked into her nice eyes... she was very nice. " So witch way? " She asked and then started making her way into a direction. She then stopped after a few yards and looked back and the bloody snow. " A great hunter never leaves evidence. " She spoke with a light mood. She aimed her Plasma Caster again and turned so she would not be affected by the heat. She fired at the stain, and the blue orb of plasma litarally vaporised the snow and blood and mested some of the soil. She then looked at her and nodded slightly to say that this task s done too. Rek'aa then continue on her way, with Red in her arms.

"Rek'aa" Red breathed her name like a prayer as the pain slowly began to recede. She had broken out in a sweat and she could feel her hair cementing itself to the back of her neck, as she fevertantly tried to calm the wolf down, it was whining, crying from the depths of her soul, eager to exact revenge on the ones who had harmed it, but Red was not a bringer of death, Red tried to be the best person she possibly could be, even if that meant defying her own instincts. "I would say it is a pleasure, but I believe most any other situation would have been preferable to meeting you." Red stayed on her back, she knew it was better to let the foreign substance heal her without much movement.
"I'm unsure if they were hunting or not.. more often than not I am perceived as a threat, it's not every day people encounter a three hundred pound wolf." Her laugh was quiet but humorous. She enjoyed making light of her situation, no matter how much it presumably sounded like she was insulting herself. Rek'aa lifted her as though she weighed nothing, and quite possibly to the alien girl, she didn't.
"It matters not to me what you are, but who you are inside, and if you were willing to help a complete stranger... you could tell me you were a centipede in disguise and I would still trust you." She tried to smile through the pain to show the young woman that she really didn't care who or what she was.
"I live at the Golden Inn. I run the place with my Granny, if you ever need anything, food, shelter, a friend... do not hesitate to ask, I would be more than happy to help you out for the kindness you have shown me." Ruby whispered into the woman's chest, her breath wafting across her collarbone, as she faded in and out of consciousness, she wasn't in pain anymore, just exhausted from the loss of blood and the lack of sleep.

As soon as Red finished, she looked down into her eyes qwith her mask's eyes. " Red... i... i am not a nice and kind person... i am a hunter. andi have a brutal and wild side of me.. i hunt people for stoprt... as that is the culture i come from... out kind are born predators... like me. " She said in a grim tone." I am sure you do not really want to be around somebody like me for loner periods of time. " Rek'aa said looking up from her and towards the city. " i would not want to annoy you and Granny with my precence... but friendship is always good... and if it is possible... i can also help out in the inn... i know a lot about hotels so it will not be hard for me. " She expained to Red. She then laughed slightly. "No... i am not a centipede at all. i took like an other humans only much taller and more muscular and lean then most ladies, as you can see " She smiled and smirked in a light mood. They reached the outrer gate soon and somewhat laater, The Golden Inn. She was getting a few dirty looks fro some of the people as she walked towards the Inn. " Red... stay with us... here we are... about time too... you where starting to get heavy even for me. " She smirked lightly and stood there for a second before going inside.

Ruby smiled as the woman Rek'aa explained her wild nature, the side of her not graced with kindness and a gentle touch. Ruby laughed lightly which quickly turned into a wince as it strained her abdominal muscles. She groaned quietly, rubbing the flesh around the area in an attempt to soothe it. She fought past the pain to offer her a half hearted smile.
"Every full moon I turn into a gigantic man eating wolf, I believe we can call it even." Red grunted, willing the pain in her abdamon to tapper off a little bit. It was amazing, the creatures, the people, the wounded souls that somehow found themselves lost in their world. They ranged from large and terrifying to small and human, barely able to lift a sword from its scabbard, much less use one in combat. Suddenly the humans that were already here were no longer the weakest race and with all of these bizarre meetings of people from other planets, it had turned their world upside down and colored it full of impossible things.
"It takes quite a bit to annoy me my friend, you would certainly have to try harder than this. I feed the people of this lands during the day, but deal with the drunks once night falls. The Golden Inn is also Aledon's most popular bar, and if I can deal with the drunks trying to paw at my clothing surely I can handle just about anyone." Red laughed genuinely this time, they might get a few free grabs in while she was still recovering. You couldn't dodge as well with a gaping hole in your side.
As Red was set down on the floor of her Inn, she tested her weight gingerly on her right side, she winced as pain laced across her side but it wasn't horrible, she could deal with the ache, it meant the wound was healing. Forcing one steady breath from her lungs, she turned back to face the hunter.
"Can I get you anything? Tea, beer, soup? I make mean venison if your interested in food." She winked and slowly began to limp towards the kitchen. The cafe was deserted, the patrons knew that on nights when the moon was high the Golden Inn's doors remained firmly shut. Ruby, nowhere to be found.

" When i am pissed off enught and on the Hunt... I am far worst then a pack of wolves...so i can offer my work and a part time doorman... well woman... but you get the point. " She laughed a little. She then smiled at he from under her mask. " Man eating wolf eh?... i am sure that i would be able to tame even you... no offence. " She looked into her eyes and then studied her face for a few seconds. " You are a stunningly nice female. " She spoke softly and nodded at what she ment. " I have to eat almost twice as more as an ordinary humans if i want to be well fed... but ever scince i got here... i never really ate more at once then an other human... i have learned to run on low amounts of food... from way back in my dimension... but now i would like to eat some meat or something " She spoke and reached up towards her mask. She started taking it off drom her armor's air filtering system and after a few seconds her mask came of making Rek'aa have a pretty hard time breathing. She was too used her her own kind of air, and the new dimension's air was always a pain when this happened. Rek'aa was gasping for air but this air hurt her lungs... she had to get used to it again... witch always to up to 12-15 ninits even. " oh man... i wil... be fine.. pretty... soon. " She gasped rather painfully and was breathing with pertty fast breaths. But she finally revieled her true face to Red.

Red motioned towards the bar, she usually only opened it in the evenings after the cafe portion was closed but she figured Rek'aa would want to continue to talk to her and they could do that while she cooked if she cooked at the open bar. Red moved slowly not wanting to agitate the wound as she trotted into the back room, hefting off a rack of venison before limping back into the bar area. She lit a fire beneath the iron skillet and slowly set about cooking it, running a hand through her long hair as she seasoned it with numerous herbs.
"Thank you." She brushed prettily as the woman complimented her. Red did not try to be kind, did not try to be a perfect angel if one will and she did have a violent side, a vicious, violent horrible side that preferred carnage over friendship and love and Red had struggled with controlling that for a great many years. But this was not the time to dwell on such thoughts. "Although I could say the same for you, I was a stranger, someone that could have been violent and cruel and yet you still offered me aid. That is not something a selfless person does."
A gasp of breath and choking on air, Ruby's eyes shot up from the meat to her new found friend. Green eyes glittered with worry and without mind of her own injury she shot around the bar and put a soothing hand on the woman's back, eyes seeking out what was causing her such a vicious reaction. The mask... was it some kind of breathing device?
"What's wrong? What can I do? Do you need oxygen? Your mask, please, I can help you!" Ruby pleaded with the woman hoping beyond all hell that she would be alright.

" Noting is... wrong... Yes i am... fine but this... always happenes... when i weare... my mask... for too...long times. " Rek'aa gasped and breathed heavily. And then pointed to Red's injury. " I am... worried about... you not... myself. " She breathed trying to get used the the air faster... but it did not really work. " Just give... me a few... minits please. " She breathed and almost forced herelf not to use her mask to cool her pain. "I just... have to get... used to this... kind of air... not a pleasent... thing if... you ask me. " She gasped in a slow breating... witch only hurt her hungs more causeing her to make a painful face. She hated looking like a weakling infromt of others and tried her best not to show her pain. She straigtened out but continued gasping and breathing in a fast pace. " I will be... better soon... do not... worry, Red. " She smiled very weakly and then her keep ears picked up the soft sounds of footspets in the snow... hand the person was jsut outside the door. " Male outside. " She wisped painfully and held her breath. Suddenly there was a knowing on the door and Hunter jumped up and readied her Wrist Blades. " Delivery to miss Rek'aa Hakk. " Came a boy's voice from outside. She opend the door and forced a smile at the boy who then handed him a large and thick book. Rek'aa then closed the door and very slowly let out her breath. She took the book over to one of the tabed and put it on it. She then gasped again and with bast breathing spoke. " A bit of... light reading. " She gasped pointing to the pretty fat book and finally her breathing problem was slowly getting better.

Ruby face flooded with worry and concern for her new found friend, even with the knowledge of Earth and all of its modern remedies for things, she doubted she would have any kind of knowledge regarding the strange piece of technology strapped onto the woman's body. It had so many flips and switches and levers, she was half tempted to take a wild guess in the dark, to give the woman an appropriate amount of oxygen, but knowing all the weapons this woman had scattered about her person, Ruby didn't think that would be such a good idea. Border lining panic, she wracked her brain for anything she could possibly do to help and coming up blank.
"Please if there is anything I can do... just tell me, any food or drink I can get you?" Ruby was trying to figure out what it was the woman required to no avail, she couldn't bring her a different oxygen level... that was beyond her control. A knock on her door startled her out of her musings, and Rek'aa was on her feet in an instant, blades drawn. Ruby gently placed a hand on her arm, trying to get the woman to settle down but not wanting those blades buried in her stomach. "This is a cafe, please calm down, people are allowed to come in here for lunch." Ruby laughed lightly, willing the warrior to relax.
As the boy called Rek'aa's name, Red frowned... how did he know she was here? Had they been followed? That wasn't possible...was it? They had come from the Northern hills! That was so bloody far away! Had he seen her wolf? For a moment panic overtook common sense but she forced herself to relax, eyeing the massive tome in the woman's hands.
"What's that?" Red's curiosity got the better of her and she gently cocked her head to the side.

" I am paranoid... for me it... comes with all... the comabat i... have beein in " She breathed hard and then smirked and her mouth formed a half smile. She then spoke again. "This is about... the earlier... kingdon that was... here. The history... of it, and special... events and such... I asked the king... to tell me about... the old kingdon and... he just gave me... this book. " Rek'aa still breathed heavyly but now the pain to her lungs was barable. " Red... if you want i... can help you make... the food. " She offered smiling widly, as she turned the pages of the large book. " But this book... has a price for... me. I have to... give my gear away... to the king for... safekeeping. That was our deal. " She smirked and shrugged. She then got up and smiled warly at Red as hunter found a part about a lost army. "This book will... be usefull for me. Anyway... when did you... become a Moonchild? " She asked in a light manner. She was intrested in Red's powers and Rek'aa planned on taming Red's wolf side. " I will tame your wild... side if you want my... help with it. " She offered noddedng gently. But her own darkside, was a much bloodier, darker and nastier thing... and could never be fully tamed... it always came back.

Red nodded along with her, she could understand paranoia, it came to her with each coming of the full moon. She shed every last trace of humanity and became a demon, it was simply her lot in life, the cards she had drawn, whatever you wished to call it. She had long ago accepted her wild nature and she had long ago come to terms with all the people she had killed. It was taxing on her at times, but the monster only reared its ugly head a few times a month and for now, at least, she could deal with such things.
"Your gear? What would Charming require with your gear? If you work for him... why would he find it necessary to take away your weapons?" Red frowned at Rek'aa and made a mental note to speak with Charming. She really hadn't had the chance since she had returned home. So caught up was she with the bar, the cafe, the Inn, meeting and greeting the new comers... she had scarcely had a day to herself much less to someone else.
"You are welcome to help out around the cafe if you would like." Ruby expertly plated the venison, seasoned it briefly and slid the plate towards her with flourish. "We could always use more people, but I fear your talents might be put to better use as a guard then in this stuffy place with me! The choice is yours of course! Although... the cafe is closed for the next few days until the full moon wanes." Ruby laughed lightly.
"As for my curse... its complicated, it is, exactly that, a curse. Its not something that can be settled or controlled entirely, it wouldn't be a curse if it could, but I appreciate the gesture all the same!"

" The king only wanted... my weapons. " Rek'aa still breathed heavily but forced her breathing into a slower speed. " I got to keep one... weapons only... otherwise i would not... be a true hunter. " She breathed and then smelled the food. It smelled great. She sent a smiling nod to Red and spoke. " And no... we made an agreement...witch is only beetween... the two of us. " She breathed... forcing her breathing even slower but it got a bit more painful for her. " And yes... i would gladly help... with this place... hiring more people,.. making it larger by... building another section to it... and playing for it all. " Rek'aa breathed in a painfull way but smiled and shrugged. She then listened to Red. " Tell me... how dose it feel when... you are a wolf? how do you... see things. Do you want to become... a wolf or are you forced to... change? " She asked in an intrested way. She wanto to understand Red's wolf side. "Any animal can be... tamed trust me... i know. " Hunter nodded. and spoke again after taking the food and started eating with her hands. " When you are turned who... do you attack? everbody that is close... or humans that try... to hurt the wolf? " She asked.

Red chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully, mulling over her words about Charming. She loved the Prince just as she loved Snow, they were an extension of her family, a piece of herself... but this woman's words confused her, she didn't understand why Charming would take someone's weapons from them, especially if his intention was to employ them into his guard, it seemed a bit counterproductive. Unless... he was suspicious of her, if he didn't trust her and thought she might harm some of his citizens... she could understand why he had taken her weapons. This woman was obviously from an era much more technologically advanced then they were and who knew what kind of weaponry was scattered about her person. For all she knew, she could blow up all of Aledon with a flick of her wrist, perhaps taking her weaponry had been a wise decision.
"The Inn needs more help than the cafe, keeping the guests in line, checking them in and out, making sure all of their supplies and items get brought with them... it comes first and Granny is getting a bit old, although if you tell her I said that I will have to hunt you down!" Ruby laughed lightly, that was of course if Granny herself didn't bury a bolt between her eyes.
"The wolf... it's difficult to explain. I am the wolf, and the wolf is me, but we are still separate... when I become her, I am still myself but I'm different, I see things differently, smell things differently, society and its etiquette are lost, if I lose control of her, she becomes horribly destructive, destroying everything and anything within its path. Its chaos in a physical form...if that makes any sense." She mused quietly.

She nodded when Red spoke but broke out laughing loudly as she said that her Granny is getting old. It took about two minits for Rek'aa to calm down enught to be able to speak. " Red... with age comes skill!... and i am many huntred years old... in my eyes she is only a little kid so far. " hunter grinned wiedly and shook her head in a fun way. " Red... i had not laughed like that in decaded... ooohhh... that was fun. " she grinned and then finally nodded. " i can work in the reception if you like. " She smiled and then contined to eat the food. She listened to when she explained her wolf thing. Then she became very serious. " Chaos in a solid form... i know exactly what that is like... as i have been there. " Rek'aa stopped eating and frowned slightly. It was then when her own anger shoot out... She had to jump up and scince she could hardly control her anger ,she backed towards the corner. " I get it... grrrrr... more then you could... grrrrrr... imagine Red! " She growled and faaught her anger. It took a half a minit for her to calm down and then spoke. " Anger and fury of the animal is my curse too... almost mindless at times and very hard to control. " She said with shame in her voice.

Granny could use a bit of extra company and she had a feeling that this warrior just might be able to keep her notable temper in check. Granny was wickedly deadly with any kind of loose object, it was a miracle Red didn't have a permanent dent in the back of her skull from all the times she had been clobbered over the years. Subconsciously she rubbed at the back of her head, wincing as the motion pulled on her wound.
"Please don't worry too much about us, if the King needs your skills more, please help the kingdom first, but we are always welcome to an extra set of hands, feel free to pop in and send Granny off to rest anytime you like!" Red chirped happily, slowly mimicking the warrior and seating herself on one of the many bar stools... man that was tender. What was with her and getting nailed by arrows that was the second one in less than a few months... maybe they were increasing the size of the hunt? Red winced at that thought.
Suddenly she jumped away growling and snapping and Red watched the display bewildered and confused. She did not understand this half human, her antics and behaviors were so utterly foreign... she forced herself to remain calm, to give her the space she needed to relax and regain control of herself. When she managed to calm down, Red thought over her words and chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully.
"What... what are you if you don't mind me asking?" Red did not wish to offend the woman, but she was dreadfully curious.

" Red... i was not born on Earth... but i am half human. " She frowned slightly. " So i do not belong anywhere for that matter... but i am more otherworlder then human. " She frowned and shook her head slightly. She sat back down and kept eating her food. It took her along minit to find her words again. " I do as i want actually... even kings could never tame me totally. " She grinned slightly and winked at Red. " And i will gladly help you guys... with anything you need " Rek'aa said and nodded. " And the king did not take away nearly all of my weapons due to not trusting me... even without my gear i am very dangerous and i offered him my weapons to not cause damage to the city if i went animal. " Rek'aa explained. "I am only allowed to use my full gear in great danger... like a massive invasion or something. " She added. and continued eating. " If i stayed with you at full moon would you attack me? " She asked beetween bites.

"My dear... I would not get too depressed! Most everyone here is a misfit! We have fire breathing dragons, humans, werewolves, wraiths, creatures from different worlds the likes of which we have never seen before.. trust me, you will fit in here just fine. We have so many oddballs here, myself included that its fairly normal." Red laughed lightly, the pain in her side was almost non-existent. Advanced healing...such a wondrous element. Red laughed whole heartedly at her next line.
"I fear being tame is rather dull, I do love my freedom... and my wolf. There is nothing quite like abandoning the restrictions of society and letting the beast consume you. Its a bit euphoric if you ask me. The wind whistling in your ear, the ground shifting beneath your feet, the scents of the wilderness drowning you... there is nothing that can compare." Red blushed lightly as she realized she was rambling, sometimes it was difficult not to get tangled with the beast, its own thoughts intertwined so tightly with her own.
Red nodded her head along with the woman's words, understanding the need for extra precaution when it came to things...difficult to control. Her next words she gave serious contemplation too. What was her measure of control, she did not trust herself enough to be around society but at the same time she had tamed at least a portion of the beast.
"It all depends. If I am under high emotional distress I have a hard time keeping control when the shift hits me, if I'm like I am now, it is fairly simple providing their are no distractions. I retreat to the forests mainly as a precaution. I dont wish to hurt anyone."
