GENERAL: Rue is a short little girl with a lean and skinny build. She's so thin you can easily count her ribs. Her legs and arms are thin but, strong. Her hair is a dark brown that compliments her deep brown eyes. Her hair is bouncy and slightly curly. It's very short and doesn't even go to her shoulders.

ATTIRE:Back home in District eleven. Rue wore dresses sewn from burlap bags. Her shoes were moccasins made from deer hide. Her hair never really had anything in it. For her Hunger Games interview, she wore a light blue cinderella type gown with white flats and two white flowers clipped in her hair. In the arena she wore a black long sleeve shirt and leggings with a black jacket with red stripes on her arms. On the back of the jacket it read, '11'. She has a wooden flower carved in a field charm as her district token. Finally she wears dark sneakers with it and is currently still wearing it.[/SIZE]

PERSONALITY

Rue is a sweet little girl. Like most little girls she likes to play and hangout. When her siblings started to depend on her Rue began to give up her food for them and assume the position as their guardians while her parents worked. Rue is a girl tough as nails she wont go down in a fight without struggle. Rue is silly and likes to tell jokes.

Rue can be a little emotional certain words bring her to tears when others say them. For example The Hunger Games being mentioned brings her to tears. She is a stubborn girl who does what she believes is right even if it isn't the best option. Rue doesn't let others push her around and often will ignore other's rude or ignorant comments about what she is doing and how she should do it.[/SIZE]

HISTORY:

Rue was born into one of the strictest districts. 11. District 11 where you would be shot in the head for cheering on a victor. District 11. When Rue was 10 she began to work in the fields harvesting fruit in the orchard. She was good at climbing trees to get fruit due to not being fed enough. whenever she got her rations of food she spilt them up among her brothers and sisters. Rue was very fond of Mockingjays who could repeat human melodies if they liked the sound of your voice. Rue used to whistle to the birds who would repeat her melody all around the farms to tell everyone it was time to go home.

Rue took care of her siblings but on the day of the reaping Rue and Thresh a strong district 11 boy were chosen to compete in The Hunger Games. Rue trained with the slingshot which she was good with. Other than that her strategy was to basically stay in the trees. One night a girl named, Katniss was sleeping in a tree across from her. Rue was hidden in the tree but, Katniss awoke to a humming sound. A tracker jacker nest was above Katniss and Rue told her to knock it down to the careers below who wanted to kill Katniss. After smashing it to the ground Glimmer was killed from the stings and Katniss got her bow and arrow. Katniss had some bad stings but the rest of the careers had gone to the lake. Rue watched as Katniss stumbled about intoxicated with tracker jacker vemon. Katniis fainted and awoke the next day when she met Rue. Katniss offered to ally with Rue who was shocked. rue accepted it and used herbs to heal Katniss's stings.

Rue and Katniss had devised a plan to blow up the Career's food. Rue had set a series of fires to distract the Careers who left a weak boy in charge of the camp. Katniss blew up the food. Rue was in trouble though. She was running to set the third campfire and she was trapped dangling from a tree in a net. Katniss came to save her but, a boy Marvel threw a spear aimed to stab Rue in the stomach when the spell brought Rue here. So here Rue is surviving off the land and in the trees in Aledon. Waiting for the next chapter of life to begin.[/SIZE]
