She was quite positive she was lost. It seemed to be a running theme in her life. Lost from her camera crew, lost in a jungle filled with all manner of vile things trying to eat her, lost in a crowded city with millions of people... all of her life the poor girl had been quite lost and even on an entirely new world she felt out of place. Perhaps it was her destiny, to simply never belong anywhere. It seemed neither space nor time could curb her of her awkwardness, it was better to accept ones fate than to live in an illusion. With a soft sigh she sat upon one of many stone benches. her pretty blue eyes watching as the throes of what she assumed were knights, sparred with one another. Their movements were fluid, like water as they parried and struck against one another. It was beautiful to watch, she would never engage in such acts but it was mesmerizing to witness. She leaned forward, her elbow on her thigh and her chin in her hand.
She had made a friend and she supposed the one friend she had made here were better than the massive zero that she had possessed back in New York. For all of her beauty, they hated her, hated her because she had stood up for a beast, what they considered a monster and what she considered a dear friend. King Kong was here...somewhere, but it had been weeks since she had last seen him, it appeared as though even he had left her alone, or perhaps she had merely imagined the entire interaction? perhaps she was going mad, she had read somewhere that loneliness had a tendency to do that to a person.
With a soft sigh she tucked of strand of slowly growing blonde hair behind her ear. She had long since forgone the inappropriate white dress. A simple styled blouse and a form fitting pair of pants kept her plenty warm in the winter months. They had tried to convince her to buy a corset but she was already so dreadfully thin and the damn things were horribly uncomfortable. The first time she had worn one for a Broadway show she had fainted twice! They were thick, you were unable to bend... and how was she supposed to juggle to entertain children if she couldn't move? She smiled lovingly as she thought back to the orphanage in New York, she had spent a vast deal of time there, she just loved making people happy, making them laugh, it was what had driven her to be an actress in the first place... but now that seemed a bit pointless, that dream would never come to pass here. had to pause to craft her ring, and of course to wed her. It still needed a few walls and furnishings, all of which he planned to craft himself. he wouldn't let her see it until it was completed though.
