Jareth, the Goblin King ruler of the Labyrinth, looked around the forest that he had just appeared in. the tall man was annoyed, angered at the fact that he had been taken away from his home. He folded his arms across his chest as he tried to decide on what he should do next. None of his goblins were here with him which made things a little more difficult since he didn’t have his army and didn’t know what kind of dangers would befall the near immortal man.
Jareth made one of his crystal orbs appear in his hand and he tossed it up in the air and watched it float away. He made a second one appear so that he could scout the area, with out having to move at all. He needed to keep himself safe, and not knowing what land he was in and how he even got here, being a powerful sorcerer himself, he wanted to be extra cautious. All that he was able to see was a city. That would be a good start for the Goblin King. He had transformed himself into the white barn owl and flew off.
The Goblin King looked around the city that he had just entered, in the form of an owl. He knew that this was a land that was very distant from his own which made him worry a lot more. A land more distant made his mind wander to the love that he still felt for Sarah, a love that she never returned that made the Goblin King puzzled. He wondered if he would ever be able to return to her world, but wondered if he appeared here she would too.
Jareth landed on a near by fence, looking around at the marketplace. The Goblin King wasnt about to unveil himself with all these people looking around, these people that he didnt know and didnt know if they would impose a threat to him. Jareth just sat there, perched, people not even paying attention to him. That was exactly what he wanted.

Sarah had been rather confused as she was hoping she would bump into someone that would be there. One of her friends perhaps, but it didn't happen least for now. Her dark brown eyes scanned the area as she was walking around and it really was confusing. She hoped Tobey wouldn't end up being stuck here, he was still far to young. But as she walked into the markets her hands in her pockets, her dark brown hair following the direction of the breeze. Things in her head kept going over and over into her head, and right now she noticed how people seemed to ignore one another.
But as she walked she noticed a beautiful owl, no one seemed to either notice or not care. Or perhaps a bit of both? but she noticed it, she managed on her journey to get her brother to pay very close attention to everyone and everything she ended up pausing a bit and something was rather familiar about it as well. Swallowing a bit as she walked slowly up to it. Her heart was pounding and yet she stopped just short of him. Closing her eyes as a memory took over her for a moment.
Seeing everything that she had lately, seeing flapping wings as she spun around in confusion and she knew now what the owl looked at. When she opened up her eyes she noticed the same coloring and markings, looking around her however no goblins were around. So if she was right then at least she wasn't alone any more. Running her fingers through her hair as she looked up at the sky. This whole place felt so wrong, and didn't understand what was going on. And her hands came out of her pockets and the breeze against her face.
"Jareth..."
She almost whispered the name but found strength in saying the name. Perhaps she was just a very weird girl, some people thought she was. But she knew she was far from crazy. So now she would wait to see if she was right, and if she was she had no idea what to say to him. Just everything he had said to her not so long ago kept whispering in her mind. Which was something she wanted, to belong but perhaps he would never say what he had to her ever again.

The Goblin King didn’t move from where he was perched. He was waiting, watching, observing. He was scouting for threats, people who would do him harm. He felt very different here, almost as if he had lost something along the way. At least it wasn’t his magic. The young looking Goblin King wouldn’t know what to do with out magic. He would be rendered powerless, something that he wouldn’t be able to cope with. Not now, not ever. He liked his power, he liked being in control. Maybe that was why he was so uncomfortable here. Here, there was nothing he could do, nothing he could control. Back in his home however, he controlled everything.
Jareth, disguised as an owl looked around then spotted a young girl, the back of her head. It was a familiar head of flowing chocolate colored hair. The owl grew more curious and just stared at her. Could it be her? Would she even be here? The Goblin King hoped so. Oh how he wished and hoped.
When the young girl turned and faced him, now staring directly at him, he knew. It was really her, it was really Sarah Williams, the young girl who had wished away her brother and defeated Jareth to get him back. The young girl that Jareth had a weird fixation with, something he knew was admiration and emotions for her but he would never admit it. She was the one who had said he had no power over her and made him feel so helpless. The one girl he would do anything for and moved the stars for.
Sarah came closer and stopped, she then whispered something. Jareth made it out clear as day. She said his name. He then flew off, ducking somewhere that no one would see him, making sure that Sarah was able to follow easily, giving her the hint to follow him, though sometimes he knew she could be a little daft when it came to hints like that. He landed on the ground and the barn owl had changed into a tall man with blond hair and brown eyes. He stood there, waiting for Sarah, though if she didn’t come soon he would have to walk back out and seek her.
This time, he wouldn’t let her go.

Sarah watched the owl and watched it take off but she watched it carefully and something in her made her move as she followed him. At first she saw nothing but then a tall man stood before her and she slowed down. She told Jareth once he held no power over her, but he had her heart so in a way he did. But would never admit that to him, she swallowed rather hard as she didn't know what to say to him. Everything was going on in her head and it confused her at first. But she did smile at him.
At last she wasn't so very alone here, she forced herself to move even more up to him. Unsure what he was doing there but knew that this was meant to be perhaps, and deep down inside her everything seemed to be very perfect. And right now she looked around to make sure no one was around her. Her dark brown eyes scanning just about every tree and animal around if any. Thinking of so many things she decided to really have a conversation with him, she leaned against a tree looking up at him. And took a deep silent breath.
"I never thought I would see you again" She said with a rather happy tone.

Jareth looked down at the surprised Sarah. He raised an eyebrow at her. Why would she be so surprised? He should be the one more surprised than she since he was from a magical land to begin with. The Goblin king looked at her, the confusion on her face. She then smiled. Jareth wondered what was going on in that little brain of hers. He was curious and wouldn’t leave until he knew what was troubling her, no, that’s not true. He wouldn’t leave her anyway, seeing as he had no idea where this place was and who resided her. It could be too dangerous and if someone sent him here to get back at him, Sarah would be the first target. He wouldn’t allow himself to be hurt by that. It was a weakness now known.
Sarah started walking closer to him. He didn’t move. He stood there, like a statue. She was now looking around. He just looked at her, knowing what was around them. As of now, there was no need for concern. People weren’t near them, that he knew of. She still looked like she was thinking, which still puzzled the Goblin King.
Jareth wondered how long they would be here in this place. He wondered how long it would take for him to figure it all out so that he could return home. He thought about giving her the offer again, asking her to stay with him. He still had those feelings for her, the ones that he knew she didn’t return, or thought she didn’t return.
It was her tone that changed. she had told him she thought she would never see him again. She sounded happy, which made him wonder.
“why so surprised, Sarah?” The Goblin King spoke to her. He folded his arms across his chest and continued to stare at the young brunette girl.

Sarah looked at him and heard what he said to her, his voice was so smooth sounding. Thinking about what he said, why was she surprised? because no one she knew was here and thought perhaps she was the only one trapped. But unsure how to tell him that, crossing her arms over her chest and looked into those deep eyes of his. Cocking her head to the side a little bit as she just smiled at him. Was she to happy? She just didn't know nor did she really care. This was her when she was around him now.
"Honestly? I thought I was the only one trapped here, I haven't bumped into anyone else I knew. And you it surprises me because with what I have seen you do magic wise, I thought it would be impossible to get you trapped some place. But to tell you the truth I am glad your here, you know with everything I have been through I should thank you. I grew up at least more then I was before we first met. But this place confuses me and its something I don't like, this place is so strange.
And I thought I have seen it all, going to your labyrinth seeing what I have. But this is a new level of strange, It seems you are as alone as I am. Since I don't see any of your goblins around, and my friends are no where to be seen. I guess we are both alone in this new world." She said with a kind glance and pushed herself right off the tree and walked up closer to him. Standing in arms reach of him. She didn't know how this would end but again she was just happy he was there with her.

Jareth looked at Sarah. She was still leaning against the tree and he was about to take a step closer. He didn’t because he was afraid it would scare the young brunette girl away. He didn’t want to do that. Not when he had so much at stake here. She had crossed her own arms over her chest, and he watched her cock her head and smile. Her smile reassured him that she wasn’t going to go anywhere, not any time soon that is. The Goblin King took a step closer to her, but only one step. He was testing her, seeing if she would move away from him. He was seeing where their relationship stood. Hoping that they would be able to trust each other since they were
He listened to her soft voice as she spoke. She had told him that she thought she was the only one here and how she couldn’t find anyone she knew meaning that she couldn’t find Hoggle, Ludo or anyone including him. She had then went on and talked about him being trapped here, how it surprised her because he had magic himself. During that, Jareth just tilted his head to the side. He was about to interrupt her, but then the words that he didn’t think that he would hear he heard. She had told him that she is glad he is here and to thank him.
Jareth relaxed himself. So, she was concerned too. Concerned for him. She had said that it seemed as if he is alone, with no one here as well. She was right. None of his Goblins were here and she didn’t have Toby with her either. Jareth let out a small sigh, one she wouldn’t hear. She had pushed herself off of the tree and moved closer to him. She was closer than he thought she would ever get after their last encounter.
“not trapped. I will be taking my leave soon.” Jareth stated to her, more of a lie than anything else. He really didn’t want to worry Sarah at all. He wanted her to at least be able to depend on him. “are you implying we be alone together then?” Jareth asked her, wondering where she was getting at with her last statement. He wanted to hear more of what she was thinking.

He seemed rather surprised she was so willing to be stalking with him, to be this close to him. But she had to be honest here, and something was eating at her. He was kind to her and was curious why he liked her so much, her heart was beating quickly being this close to him. And her brown eyes looking into his, giving him the look she gave him when she said he had no power over her. But the cold fact was he did have that pull to her. And a deep silent sigh could not be heard from her soft lips.
"I am not afraid of you Jareth, if you were meant to hurt me you would have done so back when I was after my brother. Sure you put obstacles in my path, but it was testing my resolve as a person, what I was willing to do for him. But now that my brother is safe, you are no threat to me. But there is something you need to know. Much was said our last meeting. What you were willing to do for me, what I mean to you." She took a deep breath as she looked down.
"I lied to you Jareth, when I said you held no power over me. I said it because of Toby so I lied, you do hold power over me and you have from the first moment I laid eyes on you. You are different, even if you were without power you are still magical to me. No man has ever made me feel like you make me feel. " [/b]She said finally slowly looking up at him, curious as to what he would say about this if anything. But she was being honest here, and since her brother was okay.
She didn't see the harm in talking to him, but she wasn't trying to trick him she did feel something. But perhaps he felt nothing that he had for her, a chance that was now destroyed because of everything that had happened to her. But now that she knew her brother was safe, she wasn't afraid of anything right now. But being without him terrified her.

Jareth looked at her. He was still surprised that she would even stop her to talk to him. When she had defeated him to save her brother he felt as if part of him went missing that day, part of him died when she had returned home. He had watched her celebrate with everyone. That too, had hurt him. He really did mean everything he said to her. He wanted to give her everything but he knew that the love she felt for her brother had meant more to her than he did. He knew that she would challenge him the way she did to save him back. She wished her brother away out of anger. He knew he wouldn’t have been able to keep the brother.
Jareth then raised an eyebrow when Sarah had told him that she wasn’t afraid of him, that he wasn’t here to hurt her. Again, the brunette is right. He couldn’t harm her. Not here, not again. He didn’t want to hurt her, and after he had tried to seduce her but rather was seduced by her, he never wanted to hurt her again. that’s why he had to let her go. She had said that since her brother was safe, that he was no threat to her. He would admit he hadn’t been for a long time. She mentioned his feelings for her, and he stood there, raising an eyebrow.
“what I was willing to do for you, Sarah, is long since past, you realize that don’t you?” Jareth had asked her wondering what she would say to that.
The Goblin King looked around them when he had heard something that must have been a small animal. He was distracted right now, but when she said that she had lied to him, his head had darted in her direction, his eyes staring into hers. She said that she lied for Toby’s sake. So, he did have power over her. She told him that he was magical to her and that no man ever made her feel the way she feels right now. A smirk appeared on Jareth’s face. So everything that he had hoped was coming true. She sacrificed everything for her brother. A chance, a life with him, where he hoped she knew she would have been loved to save him, to bring him home. The Goblin King was sort of speechless. He thought a moment, he thought of what he would say to her.
“you sacrificed so much for your brother. Why admit it now? If the circumstances were different, I appeared to you in your bedroom would you have said the same thing?” Jareth asked her curiously. He was now wondering why she would tell him this now. He wondered if she was scared.
“I tried to seduce you in the dream, you remember? In fact it was you who seduced me, Young Sarah Williams. that’s why I offered you more, to be with me.” Jareth said, now extending his hand for her to take. Again, he really didn’t know what else to say to her.

She didn't know what to say to him and for that moment she knew how weak she appeared to be before him. Here he was a king and she was nothing now. And as it was everything around her grew silent with his question, perhaps she lost her chance to be happy and if she did she had no one but herself to blame for it. She couldn't look at him, she felt herself wanting to cry but held back the tears the best that she could. She was so weak it was pathetic but she turned her back a bit.
So she wasn't looking at him and he couldn't see her face, looking up at the sky she thought deeply about that question, and it meant the world to her. If things had been different she would have gone with him. Taking a deep silent breath as she felt a tear run down her face, thinking about how to answer him. But what ever she said she meant every word of it. Seeing him for the first time opened up so many doors for her, and one by one the doors slammed shut. Silence didn't last long but a few moments, tho it felt like eternity.
"If it had been different, without my brother I still felt loneliness as a kid before Toby. I ask myself the same question, if you had come to me if my brother hadn't been a part of it. I would have asked you to take me away from the prison I lived in, and still I feel like I am a prisoner. I never would have turned you down, and I would never do it again. Even if it is to late to know what it would be like to be with you Jareth."
Her heart felt like it would just wither never knowing what it meant to be cared about. She took something from her pocket it had been one of his balls that he could make and looked down at it in perfect view of Jareth's eyes. Looking down at it he had left it beyond. When she looked into it she wondered if she would ever see anything in it again, looking up at him she nodded to remembering the dream. She kept the ball to remember him by it, but would not say it just not yet any way, not here.

Jareth looked at her. She wasn’t looking at him at all now. That made him question her. He watched her actions. She looked up at the sky avoiding his gaze. He could see it. He could see the tear. He wanted to step closer but all the Goblin King could do was drop his arm back down to the side. He still wanted to feel her touch again, something he hadn’t felt in a long time. The Goblin King stepped closer to her and was about to wipe a tear when she started speaking again.
He didn’t move and just listened to her. He was told that she would have asked him to take her away from the prison she was in and that she wouldn’t have turned him down. He was glad to hear that, though he still had a serious expression on his face. He then looked at her when she said that she would never turn him down again, that it was too late to know what it was like to be with him. Jareth shook his head. He was going to break everything he had believed in. he never gave second chances, not until Sarah came along.
Jareth watched as she pulled something out from her pocket. It was a crystal ball, one of his. A smile appeared on his face. She had it all this time.
“how do you know its too late?” Jareth asked her. The Goblin King had a devilish smirk appear on his face. He was the one that made the rules, why couldn’t he change the rules himself and well, bend them a little. “I was the one that made the offer and set the rules. I can change them you know.” he then said, his brown eyes looking down at her.

Sarah could feel him closer to her which made her question him, hearing what he said she swallowed hard. Many mistakes had been in her life, but she really didn't want to return home. She didn't know what to say to him about perhaps it wasn't to late, she turned to face him completely. Looking at the ball in her hand again, bringing it up to her chest as she closed her eyes. She remembered the dance in her dream, how he tried to get her to dance her time away. But all she wanted now was time, time with him.
But a smile came to her lips as she knew perhaps he was willing to give her another chance, but question was did she deserve him? So many questions could be seen in her eyes. Closing the gap between them as she looked into his eyes, taking a deep silent breath and letting it out silently was something she needed to do. So she didn't say something very stupid, because now wasn't the time to be freaking stupid. But it was time to come down a step since she was the in your face sort of girl and asked him one question.
"Am I really worth another chance Jareth, when I am with you I feel free and happy. Its taken me so long to admit to myself that I am in love with you, and would gladly give up everything that I have to be with you" She said looking at him with a gentle yet serious look in her eyes.

Jareth stood there, only mere feet in front of Sarah Williams. She looked like she was thinking again. He wanted that, her thinking though sometimes she could think way too much. That was something that would always get in her way. “you think too much, Sarah. What do you want?” Jareth asked her, hinting to her that she should just tell him what she wants and not think too hard at what she should do and whether or not she deserved it.
Jareth looked at her when she spoke. These were the words that he wanted to hear. She told him she is in love with him and that she would give up everything she has to be with him. A smile appeared on his face. He didn’t exactly know how to respond to that since he had wanted her for so long. That was all that Jareth wanted, her and to be with her. He wanted her to be at his side. He couldn’t help these feelings for her since the dream he had placed her in, and when she had defeated him, he was heartbroken, something that he had never been before. When he heard her say those words, he felt like he could admit his feelings to her, though she already knew how he felt about her.
“worth another chance? Why ask such a stupid question. You broke my heart the day you got your brother back. I am offering you a chance to change your mind, with out anything else involved, well, your brother anyway.” the Goblin King said to Sarah, wondering if she would take his offer.

She heard his voice and heard everything and it pierced her mind like a nail to the head. She wanted to be very happy and to be with him always, and right now she was willing to do anything she could do for him. But something hit her she remembered a song he sang to her before she took back her brother. Closing her eyes as everything around her grew rather silent. Was like she could hear the voices in her head from her memories. So she opened her eyes back up and looked up at him with a pride stare.
Sarah reached over to his cheek and placed her hand on it, feeling the warmth and it made her feel very happy about everything. She knew what to say to him as well, closing in as she looked at his eyes. Was time he knew just how much she paid attention with everything he said. So it was time to express herself. Her heart was beating so damn fast it was just about in her throat and she now didn't care if she ever got home. For home is not there any more, but home was with him. And a soft melody escaped her lips.
"How you turned my world, you precious thing. You starve and near exhaust me. Everything I've done, I've done for you, I move the stars for no one. You've run so long, you've run so far. Your eyes can be so cruel, just as I can be so cruel. Though I do believe in you. Yes I do live without the sunlight love without your heart beat. I, I can't live within you." It was never easy for her to be such a girl so she said what she wanted. "I want to be with you Jareth, my place is by your side. If you will have me " She said with a smile.

The Goblin King stood there when she looked at him. She looked happy, something he liked. Though, he also liked to see her when she was trying to solve the labyrinth too. She was miserable then. The king looked at her when she stared at him. He could tell she was thinking again, and he raised his right eye brow at her, wondering what was racing through her mind. He watched as she reached over to him and placed her hand on his cheek. He didn’t move, just stood there, not knowing what she was doing. Oh well. Let her do what ever if it makes her happy. He wasn’t one to show his emotions so maybe having someone like Sarah would help with that.
He then heard Sarah say the words he had said before she had defeated him. How she remembered all of that he didn’t know. The Goblin King just stood there listening. He looked down at her when she stopped. She had paused for a mere moment and she had then said that she wanted to be with him and her place is with him. Jareth smiled back at the young brunette girl that he had taken a liking too. “wouldn’t want it to be anywhere else.” Jareth replied about having her place by his side.
“so, where have you resided for the time you have been here?” Jareth had asked her, going completely off topic of everything they have been talking about. He needed a place to stay and needed to make sure that Sarah was going to be safe where she was staying. He wasn’t going to let anything happen to her, and destroy all who tried harming her.

Jareth seemed so nervous when she touched his cheek, probably thought she would smack him or something, hearing what he said about her home she smiled a bit. She hadn't spent much time in it since really to much time to think sucked a lot. Life had a different way of butting its way into your business. But she was very happy about everything and was honored he would be willing to give her one more chance. She would be true to him and would never hurt him again, once was enough. She hadn't been thinking which was good for a change and she spoke.
"I live just out a little ways there is actually a little cabin here just in front of us, its small but more then big enough for two people. I don't spend much time there because no one but me was living there, but now I have a good reason to spend some time at home." She said with a bright smile, no longer afraid of him. No longer wanting to hide everything from him. He was a special case and a special case needed a gentle touch, she had that touch which was nice.

Jareth hoped that this would work. He hoped that he could help Sarah and protect her, not loose her again. He would still move the stars and the heavens for her and try to live to her expectations of him. He just hoped that she would allow him to do that. Jareth he was going to stay by her side now, and be her friend in this place, even though it didn’t seem like he was before. This time he would try to do it with out controlling or manipulating her or anyone like he had done before. The Goblin King placed his hand on top of hers that still rested on his cheek. He pulled it down and still held it in his.
She told him that she lived a little ways away in a cabin that was big enough for two people. How did she get such a place? He looked at her and nodded. “and how did you acquire such a place?” Jareth asked her curiously, having no hesitation in asking her. She seemed to be more relaxed, willing to talk to him and not being fearful anymore. He wanted that. He wasn’t going to hurt her or abandon her so why should she be afraid?
“if you don’t mind, I would like to spend time with you and perhaps stay there until I can use my magic to return us home.” The Goblin King said to her with a smile on his face. A reassuring one that he hoped would convince her that they will get home eventually.
“if you stay with me, what about Toby?” Jareth then asked her out of curiosity. Would she abandon the brother she fought so hard to get back, just like that?

Sarah heard the curiosity in his voice and motioned to where her house was located. She smiled even more when he said he wanted to spend more time with her. She wanted to spend more time with him to, and when he placed his hand on hers and took it off his face, and hanging onto it still. She squeezed his hand tenderly and tried to figure out how to tell him how she got the little place. She was rather happy about everything, and looking back at him she was overly happy that he was still here with her. Right now everything was just pure heaven.
"Well I got the place from the owner's daughter man who lived in it had passed away, so I have been paying a bit a month till its mine. People are actually friendly here and its rather breath taking in the least. And with everything that was going on it seems good, and even better now that your here and as for Toby no I wont leave him. He would get more love from the two of us then my step father and mother. They are so into themselves they don't care about him."
She said to Jareth she wouldn't leave her brother like that, as she said he would get more love from them. Then her own parents, but the question was would he want the child? after going so far out to save her brother from Jareth and now they would raise him. Placing her hands on her hips as she looked up at him and never letting his hand go not even for a moment. It amazed her what he was willing to do for her, it said a lot about him as a person as well. To bend over backwards for one person.

Jareth now needed a plan. He wasn’t going to live in some small little cabin, no. he needed a castle. He would probably have to go and take one for himself, which he figured would be a little more difficult since he wasn’t as powerful here than he was back in his world, back in his Labyrinth. He knew that’s why he felt so strange here. There was something missing and that has yet to be discovered. that’s why the Goblin King was being very cautious with everything he did.
Jareth looked at her when she spoke of how she had gotten the place. She talked about how people here are friendly and how everything seemed to be going well. So was she happy here? The old Sarah Williams would be, happy living in a fairy tale land like in her fantasies but this was a new Sarah. Maybe not as much had changed as he thought had when she challenged him and the labyrinth.
Jareth’s interest was now caught when she spoke of Toby and how she wouldn’t leave him. He didn’t understand what she meant until she said that she wanted to keep Toby with them and not with her father and step mother. She said that they didn’t care about him. Jareth smiled. So he would have Toby after all, but this time he wouldn’t turn the child into a Goblin.
“is that really what you want?” Jareth asked her knowing the answer would be yes. Jareth found something else in her words. They would be raising the child yes, but the child will also become the heir to his throne as Goblin King. That was the plan now. Jareth didn’t have to worry so much anymore. He didn’t really care if Sarah would object to this. It was her choice for them to take her baby brother and raise him, his future would depend on Jareth.
“how many castles have you seen in this land and how long do you think it would take me to steal one?” Jareth then asked her with an evil smirk on his face, as he made one of his crystal orbs appear in his hand and was playing with it while the other one was still holding Sarah’s hand.

In a way it was rather funny because bringing Toby back to Jareth and it felt like the trip she took through Jareth's world was for no reason and it kinda frustrated her. But things perhaps were meant to happen this way, but thinking about what everything would happen. She heard the questions he asked at her. She knew what she wanted and looked at him and as it was right now things were meant the way they were she figured. Placing her free hand on her hip thinking about how to respond to him. And her brown eyes looked into his with a smile.
"Well would I would like well part of it I have already which is you, and maybe having a child together. Though know I am starting to realize what you want besides a castle and try to get power here but being a king you want an hire. But as for how hard it will be, it depends Jareth if you are as strong here is you are in your world probably wouldn't be that hard. But if your power isn't as powerful as in your world it can be rather hard. But I hope you do know.
That I was serious about never turning my back on you, if you want a castle then I will stand by your side. I have made many mistakes in my short life and I was able to correct one thanks to you"
She would never make the same mistake again as she showed him love in her eyes . She hadn't ever been in a relationship with a guy, because no guy had ever gotten into her head like he could and she loved it. A first loved that hope would last until there dying day. She was able to see the cottage.
"You seem worried about something.."
She said looking at him perhaps she wasn't good at reading people but he had it written all over his handsome face. She had no idea what would happen here, and if he wanted a castle he would take it that she knew of him. Sighing softly as she felt as everything around her just seemed to stop, it was rather nice really. She couldn't think of Toby while she was strained here though it was really to painful. She just hoped that he would be alright while she was here.
But seeing that smile on his face she watched how he made the crystal ball and watched him playing with it, she watched what he did with it. And he always impressed her greatly with how much he could do.
"Tell me what you do with the crystals like now, is that power how you handle it or is that just skill? You always make everything you do so elegant, makes me wish I was good at something. Lacking magic is one thing but lacking elegance is a whole other thing with me."
She actually laughed a bit at what she said sometimes she made no since to herself.

Jareth knew that this was exactly what he wanted. He finally had Sarah and now he was going to get Toby as well. It was as if she had never went through the Labyrinth and they were all going to be together forever. He knew he could make that happen. He knew he could give her the immortality that he had so he wouldn’t have to loose her again. She had changed a lot through the Labyrinth and it made her harder to stay away from. Her dreams, stories that she told were almost true before she even knew it was true. She still smiled. He didn’t know how anyone could smile in a time like this but he was glad that she was able to. He wondered if he was making the worst of things instead of the best. He now had Sarah. That was something to smile about yet it almost did nothing to him. He was worried still.
Sarah spoke. She had him, yes she had always had him. She wanted a child now. The child is going to be Toby. She then stated that she knew he wanted an heir besides a castle. She really knew enough about him. He knew it was because of her books and her stories. He had always wanted an heir and that’s why he was going to pick Toby but she wouldn’t allow it. She then asked if he was as strong here as he is in his own word where he is king. She then went on and talked about never turning her back on him and standing by his side. Jareth wouldn’t want anything more than that.
“my, my, there is a lot you keep in that pretty little head of yours.” Jareth said, almost commenting on how much she knew about him and yet it seemed that he knew so little about her, well he didn’t show how much he knew about her anyway. “I had chosen Toby as my heir, but I would like to think that you already knew that. As for power I still have all my powers, as you have witnessed.” Jareth said to her, as he continued to play with the orb then tossed it in the air waiting for her to catch it. “kings live in castles, and I am the Goblin King, so naturally I am going to want to live in a castle, no?” Jareth asked Sarah with a smirk on his face, almost in a teasing way.
Jareth was thinking about how to get a castle or even make himself known. If someone was truly to attack him, then they could get it over with right away and keep the young brunette girl out of it. He just didn’t know why anyone would want to in the first place. All he did was rule his Goblin City and never had any communications with anyone besides people who wished their children away and the Goblins themselves, but the Goblins were too stupid to do anything like this, not to mention powerless.
Sarah had spoke and Jareth was snapped out of his thoughts. She told him he seems worried. Well, she wasn’t wrong. “nothing you need to be worried and bothered with.” Jareth said to her, giving her only the half truth on it.
Sarah then asked about the crystal orbs. “its all magic, my power. This” Jareth paused, making a new one since he had tossed the other one to Sarah moments before, moving it around his hand “is just me playing around with it. And my power is enhanced by these little things, well maybe its contained in them, no clue, but this is how I trapped you in that dream, Sarah, remember?” Jareth said, making the new orb disappear, turning into a snake as he had done before and dropping it to the ground. Jareth watched it slither away from him and Sarah and he looked back over at her.

Sarah found him rather magical to be around with him, but everything happened for a reason she knew. Taking everything in she heard his words that she clung to and sighed happily. But then he tossed her one of the orbs and she caught it looking into it, she smiled so happily over everything. Listing to his words and when he said what he did she watched him perform with the orbs and smiled. Wishing she could do something like that. But then she began to think about the dream that he put her in, with her eyes closed holding the orb close.
As she remembered she saw men and women in really interesting dresses and suites. Trying to find him as she was in a white and silver dress. Beautiful silver earnings dangling and silver flower decorations in her hair as it was down and poofed out a bit. There was no fun in the dream, hearing them laughing, watching them staring. And then the clock going off struggling to get free, away from them as the people tugged at her. And finally to get free smashing a mirror with a chair. She slowly opened up her eyes looking at Jareth.
"I remember it all to well, trying to get me to dance the rest of the hour I had. But again I had defeated you, I got out and continued. And now it seems the trip I took to your kingdom was a waste, because in the end you get the baby and me. I know you want my brother to be your heir but what will happen to me then? Time may not matter in your world, but mortality has its limits as I know all to much. The thought of losing you and being alone terrifies me."

The Goblin King looked at Sarah, watching her. He knew he wasn’t going to let her go again. He watched her as she held the orb and she smiled. He liked seeing her smile and knew that if they found Toby here in this land she would be smiling more often, or so he hoped she would. He liked her smile. It was nice to look at, making him feel happier. He watched her close her eyes, knowing that she was thinking about the dream.
He knew the dream. He had drugged her with the peach and knew exactly what she had dreamt of. She was in a ballroom, with him and other people. Everything was so elegant and beautiful. Sarah was beautiful wearing the silver dress and her hair pulled back with flowers in her hair. She had caught his eye and his heart and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Jareth stared at Sarah as she told him that the trip she took to his kingdom was a waste because he had won in the end. Jareth simply smiled to her. He knew it was true. She had also asked what would happen to her, time would make her grow and die, since she was mortal. A smirk had grown on his face.
“you wouldn’t have to worry about growing old when you’re with me, Sarah. I move the heavens and the stars remember? In my world, you shall be immortal and live forever with me.” Jareth responded to her, offering that to her for the second time. He had offered it to her before but she had refused to save her brother. Jareth now had the chance again and he took it. “your trip through my kingdom wasn’t a waste. You learned a lot of things, but it is as if you don’t see it.” Jareth then said to her.

She listened to what he said to her and looked up at him, as she walked around him curious as to what was going to happen to them, placing her hand on his shoulder as she stopped for a moment looking back at the orb and gazed into it almost like she could see her past running through her head and was thinking of things they had said to each other. The end how she defeated him, she knew what she spoke to him. But this time she had a new purse as she spoke. Her voice showed love in it.
"Give me the child, through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered. I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the goblin city. To take back the child that you have stolen. For my will as as strong as yours and my kingdom is great...."
She said to him a soft breeze took hold of her hair and everything around her was so perfect and she was really happy right then and there. Her heart was racing as for just a moment she paused making him wonder what she would say next but the memory ended and now it was all her to what she had to say to him.
"You have power over me and probably Toby once he is old enough to know you and to remember. If immortality is granted to those who are in your world I hope we find it soon, because every day we are here we grow older. Then again you have power in you, you probably don't have to worry about anything. Accept being comfortable, reclaim your glory and see where it takes us."

Jareth looked at Sarah as she started walking around him, and placed a hand on his shoulder. He still stood there, and as she came to her side. Jareth listened to her speak the same words that she had spoken to him the day that she had defeated him. Those words still pained him but the way she spoke them was different. There wasn’t hate in her voice like there was last time, no. it was much different, almost kind, loving. The Goblin King looked at her and he then turned to face her. He watched as the breeze had wisped her hair and he felt his blowing lightly as well. The blond man waited for her to finish the statement.
Sarah continued. She had said she had power over her and Toby. She went on to speak of the immortality that he had offered her and how he wouldn’t have to worry because he still had power here. How she was wrong. He wouldn’t tell her other wise though. Jareth just stared at her with all seriousness in his face. She had told him to reclaim his glory and see where it takes them. What glory did he have to reclaim? He is a king and now since he wasn’t here with his Goblins he could pick anything, be anything, do anything… nah. The Goblin King still wanted to be King of the Goblins. He loved doing it.
“no, this place does something. I can feel it. Something that has to do with my powers. that’s what is worrying me. But don’t worry about it, as I had said before, nothing you should be worried about.” Jareth said to her, just giving her a little bit of information. He needed to learn how to trust the young brunette girl, but trusting someone was a lot harder for him than the average person.
