Sarah watched what he did and she could not help but smile at him, he was so gentle and sweet to her. He had always been that way with him, but she was to blind and when he asked the question that he did, she looked down at the feather running her fingers over it. She loved his owl form it was beautiful and graceful looking. And sighing softly she looked down shaking her head a little bit and smiled more.
"I didn't call you for a few reasons, I did not know if you would come back to me. Because after hurting you I was afraid. And really I had no idea what love was, I guess I just loved my self even . But now I know what love is and I do no love myself. And right now I did not want to express myself." She said with a soft smile on her face, not wanting to risk anything she began to walk up to him and looked into his eyes, she looked into his eyes.

The Goblin King looked at Sarah as she spoke. She didn’t call to him because she was afraid? He only looked at her with curiosity. She did have a point though. He didn’t know if he would come to her at the time but the longer that he thought about it, the quicker he decided that he would have anyway, whether he was mad at her or not. He loved her and if she truly needed him he would appear to her and help her. He also thought about how he may have not wanted to interfere in her life but right now it didn’t matter. He was in love with her and would do anything for her.
“I would have come. Angry or not, if you needed me I would always and will always be there for you, Sarah.” Jareth said to her, reassuring her and he watched her step closer to him. He was telling her the truth. He wasn’t really one for opening up to people but there was something about Sarah that just did it, that just made him open up to her. He didn’t really mind it either.
Jareth looked at her and moved closer to her. Jareth stared down into her eyes and he had put his hand on the side of her cheek. Jareth just smiled at her. He was glad that the first person he had run into was Sarah. It was everything that he could wish for.
“you no longer need to be afraid of me, Sarah.” Jareth then stated to her and pulled her into a hug, holding her close to him as he did before.

Sarah had made so many mistakes and Jareth was the big one, she should have stayed into his kingdom. But she wanted what was best for her brother, and did not know if his world would have been best for a baby. Hearing what he said, that he would have come to her. And it broke her heart to know that, she should have called him. Looking up into his eyes she heard what he said to her, and when he touched her cheek she leaned into his hand.
But then he brought her into a hug and she hugged him back, resting her head on his chest as she heard what he said. She honestly did not know if she was afraid of him, but she knew she loved him. Holding him so close she did not cared what would happen. All she knew was she wanted to be by his side, as long as it was possible for her. She trusted him and was fully open to him, and would never hurt him again. "I love you Jareth.."

The Goblin King looked at her as he kept her close to him, as he kept his arms around her. He felt her rest her head against his chest and he wondered what she was thinking, if she really wanted this or not. She didn’t say anything about her being afraid of him. That was a good thing, on his part. He never wanted her to be afraid of him. He hoped that she wasn’t, and with this silence, he couldn’t be too sure anyway. He wanted her with him always. He didn’t want her to leave him at all, he didn’t want her to leave his arms.
Sarah had then told Jareth that she loved him. He couldn’t recall anyone saying that to him, and truly meaning it. Jareth also never told anyone that either, with out truly meaning it. The Goblin King smiled and he looked down at, her for a moment, then he looked back to the room straight ahead and he rested his chin lightly on her head. “and I too, Sarah.” Jareth replied to Sarah with a smile that she couldn’t see. He had rested one of his hands on the back of her head, touching it ever so lightly. There was no other place or time that he would rather be right now than right here and right now. He was actually having a wonderful time with Sarah, something he thought he could never have again when she had left him so long ago to save her brother. He seemed to only be happy when he was with her, that much he knew to be true.

Happiness was something she had not felt, the true happiness she had always wanted. And when he wanted to be around her it felt nice, everything she had ever wanted was right here before her holding her. She felt that she could do anything with him and smiled as she felt more free then she had been before, pulling away a little bit she placed her hand on his cheek, showing an honest smile of her happiness.
"You truly are unique Jareth, in my world forgiveness is something some do not give the other for hurting them. I do not know why you love me so much, or why you wanted me to stand by your side. I have made mistakes when it came to you, but you do not damn me for them. I have never truly been happy yet with you here, for the first time in my life I am free. And I am glad you are here Jareth, because I love you, deeply and honestly"

Jareth just smiled back at her. Her smile seemed to always light up the room, light up everything. She was just that way he guessed. Jareth just continued to hold her and he knew that now he had to bid his farewell for only a short matter of time. He would always come back and think of her though, think of her smile and how she lights up his world. The Goblin King let her go after she had pulled away. She had placed her hand on his cheek and he looked at her smiling face, her smiling face of happiness.
Jareth listened to the words that came out of her mouth. He nodded when she said that she had made mistakes but he didn’t hold them against her. She told him that for once she is free and that she has never truly been happy, and now she is glad with him here. She said it was all because she loved him honestly and deeply. Jareth looked around the room once more and he then looked back at her.
“you really turned my world, Sarah. Perhaps for the better.” Jareth said, placing his hand over hers and dropping both hands from his cheek down to the side. “I must bid you farewell for now. I will come back for you, Sarah, don’t ever doubt that.” Jareth smiled to her.
The Goblin King had then turned into an owl and before flying away, he took one more look at the young brunette girl, then expanded his wings and flew off. He knew she will see him again. He wondered if she knew that though.
