Sarah didn't know what to say to him but she was worried, and worried she wouldn't be able to help him. But knew that this relationship would be taught at first. But thinking for a moment, he once offered to give her a present which was a crystal orb and then turned it into a snake because of the bitter words. She knew trust had to start some place, and she was determined to be able to be good for him. She thought for a second and would give him something once she could figure out the kind of thing he was into.
"You say not to worry but I do, someone has to worry since you seem to. But you hide your emotions, how you speak and act towards me shows you have trusting issues. Which is understandable but know that I will do what I have to. To get you to fully trust me and be fully open to me. Even if it takes me half of my life I will do it Jareth. Love is an amazing feeling, something I never knew till I met you. Being here makes my world go upside down, time having no meaning."
She said with a big smile on her face and sighed a bit, unsure what he wanted to do but realized she knew things about him but he knew nothing of her. Not that there was really anything to know about her, she was a normal boring girl who blamed everyone for the pain she had. Taking a deep silent breath she would be open with him. Even if it was rather hard to do. But someone like him deserved to be able to know about her, especially if she planned on being with him always. And remembered something.
"The greatest thing in this world is love and to be loved in return.." She said.

Jareth wasn’t liking the silence that Sarah was giving him but he used it to think himself. He really hoped that her silence wasn’t her worrying or loosing faith in him. Jareth didn’t want that at all. Maybe telling her that, giving her a vague description of what was going on with him was a bad idea that he wished that he could take back. Jareth wanted to be able to trust her but that had to come with time. He hoped that she would trust him enough for him to protect her. That was all he really wanted. He always wanted to be there for her.
Sarah spoke the truth. She was right and had a right to worry but he didn’t want her to. She told him that he hid his emotions. The rest of her words made him look away from the tree that he was staring at and look at her. He released his hand from hers and placed his hand on the side of her head and ran his fingers through her hair and then dropped his hand to his side.
“do you trust me?” Jareth then asked her, wondering if she truly did. “I do trust you, Miss Sarah, there are things that if I tell you, you would worry more and we cant have that can we?” Jareth asked with a small wink. She spoke words that sounded like they would be right out of her fairy tale stories. He was confused by this but he knew what it meant. “love? You truly love me?” Jareth asked her curiously, now fully believing that she did have feelings for him and him opening up was probably something he should do.

Sarah looked at him and felt his hand leaving her own and was rather sad but then feeling his hand on her cheek she paid close attention to him feeling his hand off her face and returned to his side. But when he asked her what he did, she couldn't help but smile at him. She never trusted anyone and to trust someone was big. Stepping even closer to him she smiled a bit, reaching up as she touched a strand of his hair feeling the softness of it. Looking into his eyes that lead to the soul she couldn't help but want to kiss him but didn't.
"Let me tell you something Jareth, I trust no one in my life. Though I thought were friends ended up betraying me. So I know the hardship of giving ones hand in friendship and getting it thrown in your face. I understand that very well, but that was until I met you Jareth, you once told me to fear you, love you, do as you say and you will be my slave. I believe that, to put yourself out like that shows you really do care. And for the first time in my life I am content.
I know what I want, and I know who I want. Like you I find trusting people very hard, but after all this time. After all the searching, I found the man I love very much. And for your question, my answer to you Jareth is yes. I trust you with my well being and I trust you with my brothers. I would lay down my life for you"
She showed her feelings for him as she reached up and placed her hand on his cheek, feeling the soft warmth of his skin. Made her feel very happy and it was something that made her rather happy showing she trusted him very much.

Trust. that’s what it all came down to. Jareth loved Sarah and trusting her was something that he knew he would learn to do. He never shared his world with anyone. Sarah was always the first person that he had opened up to, that he had shown his true feelings for. He would just have to get used to the idea that it isnt just him anymore and that he needed to include Sarah in his life, include her in almost everything.
She spoke about how she didn’t trust anyone, how her friends betrayed her. She wondered what friends she was speaking of. Her friends from the Labyrinth weren’t going to do that, well maybe Hoggle if certain things were threatened. She spoke about how he really does care for her because of what he had said to her. He meant every word too. He still does. She then told him that she had found the man she loves very much and that she does trust him and that she trusts him with her brother and she would lay her life down for him. Jareth shook his head.
“laying down your life for me isnt something I want so don’t ever do that, understand?” Jareth asked her, almost in a strict, stern manner. He wasn’t going to allow it. Not now, not ever. He wasn’t doing it to be mean. it was quite the opposite. He couldn’t loose her again. He didn’t want to loose her again. Sarah had then reached up and touched his cheek. He felt the warmth of her hand on his face and it was something that he actually enjoyed.

Sarah was surprised by the stern sound and look he gave her, her hand went from his cheek to his chest and looked up at him. He took things to literal but she understood why he had actually, this was new territory for him and also for her. She would gain his trust even if it killed her, though she wasn't planning on dying nay time soon. Sighing softly as she rested her head on his chest, wrapping her arms around him resting on his back. She heard his heart beating and made her smile ten times more.
"Its an expression Jareth, I mean I do mean what I say but it's not like I am going to go looking for trouble. I am not that foolish, besides in this relationship I am the weaker one, I know my limits. And when I mean friends betrayed me , I don't mind those I met in your kingdom. I meant people from my life that you don't know anything about. I should probably fill you in, seems like I know a lot about you and you don't really know that much about me. If you ask questions I will give you the honest answer to them, no matter the question."
Sarah didn't know how he would take this kind of affection but so far he took what she was doing pretty well, though its not like he was kissing her yet but knew in all time all that would happen, she would normally ask if he loved her so much why hesitate. But she understood his hesitation because she hurt him once and she deserved this slow walk through his emotions but she wasn't complaining she was beyond happy. Closing her eyes for a moment enjoying the feeling of her head to his chest.

Sarahs hand had moved from his cheek to his chest. The Goblin King said nothing but allowed her to touch him still. It wasn’t that he had ever felt before. Her touch was soft, kind, only innocence behind it. There was no intention of her to harm him at all. The only way he knew that the young girl would harm him is if she had used the words again. That was the only way that Sarah had been able to hurt him. It wasn’t physical but it took a large toll on the Goblin king. He was depressed that she didn’t want to stay with him the first time around. No matter. She is with him now and he wont let her go unless hse wanted to.
Sarah went on and told him that it was an expression. He listened to what else she had to say and he let out a sigh. “expression or not, you shouldn’t speak like that.” He stated to her, hoping to get her to understand. He hoped that she would and realize that he couldn’t loose her. “friends from your world then? How have they betrayed you?” Jareth asked Sarah curiously.
He knew a lot about Sarah, who she is as a person but he didn’t know much about her life after she had left him. He knew she had won and that she was celebrating said victory in her room with the others and then he flew off, was never seen beyond the castle of the Labyrinth. Goblins weren’t inside his castle much after that. He rarely let anyone in. not that he would tell her that. Not yet anyway.

Jareth she heard his first question and smiled at him, and heard his question. Thinking about a few things, and taking a deep breath she looked around, and everything was even more silent she didn't even hear bugs which was strange. But pulling away a bit he seemed so disconnected but knew in time it would change. So when she moved away from him, she looked down seeing there faces and sighed sadly. And was thinking of those who she thought were her friends but turned out it wasn't. She noticed a bench and just sat down leaving him room in case he wanted to sit.
"Well I had these group of friends in my world, they were popular and were rather nice to me. I hung in the crowd a bit. They were nasty to other people, but that is how people can be least in my world. And we were really close, at least i thought about it, but one day when I was in school there were rumors going around that my so called friends were not my friends, that they talked bad about me behind my back. I was rather shocked about it, and didn't know, I wasn't liked really in school.
But I went to my friends and the rumors were true I over heard a conversation the girls had, they had no idea I was behind them because I was behind them. They were facing me away, and then when they turned and saw me. I remember blushing totally embarrassed and then everyone was laughing at me, I just left. I had two and a half hours before I was to go home for the day, but didn't care I just left. So that is my own reason for why I don't trust easily, everyone is different"
She sighed sadly.

Jareth stood there and watched her. she looked around and he wondered what it was that hse was looking for or if she was checking to see if anything was around them. Sarah moved away from him and he didn’t want that at all. he was now worried, afraid that she was going to say something terrible. she had gone and sat down on a bench that wasn’t far from them. Sarah looked upset and seeing her that way made him upset. was she really that mistreated? Jareth walked over to her and he just stood there, didn’t sit down yet.
He listened to her speak. from what he got out of this little story was that they didn’t appreciate her. they were all immature children who didn’t deserve Sarah as a friend. if only they knew who she is friends with. they would probably run in fear if they saw the beast or even Jareth himself. he would surely get revenge on them if she really wanted him too. he was curious as to what they said about her though. he felt bad and wanted to help the woman who had stolen his heart.
“what were they saying?” Jareth asked her, still standing in front of her and not sitting down, not yet anyway. “if you want to tell me. you don’t have to. your choice.” Jareth then added with a small smile.
Jareth wanted to try to make her feel better. he didn’t want to see her like this. not ever again. it made him upset too that she was upset. there had to be something that he could do to make everything right.

Sarah listened to him walking around and she saw he was in front of her and was thinking of that horrible moment. Sighing softly she looked up at him and decided he deserved to know. If they were going to be together she didn't want to hide things, she had hurt him once but no more. Looking back down at the crystal ball he had tossed to her earlier. And was trying to focus her thoughts on what happened that day, and took a deep breath smiling a little. She took just a moment to gather her strength to even start it.
"People can be cruel to each other Jareth, the human condition we say where I am from. People don't realize that you can hurt others by what you say, they made fun of the way I spend free time. I would act out scenes from a book I read, knowing it word for word, some called me a freak that I wasn't normal. But all in all everything happens for a reason I guess, those who liked me turned there back on me. Words hurt and theirs hurt the worst, but there isn't anything I can could do about it"
She said softly, and knew that everything in time would be okay. Taking a deep breath she sighed a little bit, looking at him with a smile on her face. Taking his hand and squeezing it showing that he didn't have to worry about her that she would be okay. She had no idea why people were so cruel but Jareth was a different case, how could he love someone who hurt him? she wondered. But time would tell she guessed, and right now everything was just so wonderful at that moment. They were alone, in a world stuck the same way it felt good.

Jareth looked at Sarah. she wasn’t too happy sharing, well didn’t look too happy sharing about the people who had made fun of her at her school. Jareth felt really bad. He looked at her as she started to talk again, explaining further. She told him about human nature. He knew of all that. She also told him that they made fun of her because of what she does, the stories, the costumes, everything that had to do with it. Jareth looked at her with a sincere look on his face. He was also surprised. She had told him that their words hurt the most and that there wasn’t anything she could do about it as well as everything happens for a reason. She seemed to be hurt but was also being strong at the same time.
Sarah had then taken his hand again and he looked at her smiling face. Jareth then pulled her up and into a hug.
“ignore their words, Sarah. You are perfect the way you are, and if you never read your stories, we wouldn’t have ever met.” Jareth said to her, both of his arms around Sarah.
Holding her like this was something he thought he would never accomplish, not since she had pulled away from him in the dream he had created for her when he tried to kiss her. He felt happy, holding her in his arms. It was something that the goblin king had wanted to do for some time now. The goblin king rested his chin on the top of her head as lightly as he could.

Sarah had no idea just how fragile Jareth was, he may have had power. He could charm fish out of the water if he wanted to, be able to do great and wonderful things. But then behind all of that, behind the powers and confident looks and smiles. It made her see him in a whole new light, a light she wanted to keep bright and going for as long as she possibly could. And right now it was just so wonderful, when he pulled her into a hug something happened. Sarah wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest.
She never thought anyone would want this with her, closing her eyes she heard his words and smiled. She had a good thing to hold onto and no one would take that from her, she wouldn't ever allow it. And right now things were going so wonderful, taking a deep breath she sighed softly. Feeling his chin on her head making her feel even more relaxed. Sarah had pulled away once but she never would again, she loved him more then anything. She wasn't afraid of anything that went on, right now things were just so wonderful.
"You are something else Jareth, you are special and sweet. Nice to see the sensitive side of you. And being in your arms like this, just makes me feel so free you know?" She loved to be free and right now she felt it with him, taking a deep breath as she held him close, her eyes opened enjoying the embrace she was having with him.

Jareth continued to stand there with Sarah Williams in his arms. He had let her go once, but he would never do it again. He made a mistake and realized that she had made the same one as well. Things were going to be different now. He could feel a sense of peacefulness standing here with her in his arms. Things were perfect. He could feel her relax herself and that was what he wanted. He didn’t want her to dwell on the past anymore. He could feel her arms around him as well. Nothing made him more happier than this.
She started talking to him and a smile appeared on her face with her words. He lifted his head up and he still kept his arms around her. “only you know this side of me, Sarah.” Jareth responded to her. “do I truly make you happy?” Jareth then asked her curiously. He didn’t want her to ever be miserable and if she wasn’t truly happy with him, he would let her go again, he would always let her go if it meant for her to be happy. He loved her too much to cause the young brunette girl pain. He had moved his right hand higher so that it rested around the girl’s shoulders.
“I have waited a long time for you, you know.” Jareth then stated to her with a small chuckle. He still never wanted to let her go. “you broke my heart that day you had defeated me. I could have kept you, but I had to let you go. I knew you would never love me that way.” Jareth said to her honestly.

Sarah looked up at him as he spoke and everything went away when he said she broke his heart. Sighing sadly she didn't know what to expect any more, but holding him close she would never let him go again. And knew that he only wanted her happy now, and that was a man that had a heart of gold. To sacrifice his happiness for her. But she sighed hearing she hurt him, and knew she did. Looking into those eyes almost made her want to kiss him. But didn't want to push it with him now. She was contented now.
"Yes Jareth you make me very happy, and I am sorry I hurt you Jareth. Everything you did you did because you loved me, but I will never make that mistake again, because I do love you in the way that you thought I never would be. I love you fully and honestly. My true love standing before me off and on in your world. But everything you did made an impression on me. All I want is for you to be happy, and we will see to it that you are happy. I will never hurt you again Jareth I promise"
She didn't know what more to say to him but knew he would be okay, everything so perfect looking up into his eyes and how she stood she was rather close to his face, her lips inches from her as she took his hand squeezing it with so much tenderness it was easy to feel. She couldn't live any more. And everything was still and no one around them, so she felt rather relaxed. It was amazing how much she could love someone and right now she didn't know where they would go from here. She was confused but not in a bad way.

Jareth stared at Sarah. Feeling her head against his chest was making him happy. More happy than she would ever know. Jareth liked the fact that he was here with her and that everything seemed perfect. He just didn’t like the fact that they weren’t in his home in the Goblin city but that didn’t matter. Jareth would have a castle here and it would be an exact replica of the one he had back in the center of the Labyrinth. The tall blond man looked down at her to notice that she was looking up at him. He stared into her eyes and he smiled to her.
Sarah seemed to feel really bad that she had hurt him. She had told him that he made her very happy and she really made him happy. She also said that she was sorry for hurting him and she would never make that mistake again. Jareth knew that to be true. Every word that Sarah spoke to him he knew was true just by the look in her face and her eyes. He knew that she meant every word that she was speaking.
“I love you more than my life.” Jareth said to her as he looked at her, her face being inches away. Jareth knew what she wanted and it was something that he had wanted back in the dream, he wanted to steal a kiss from her but now he guessed that it wouldn’t be stealing anymore since he and her had admitted to each other that they love each other. Jareth had moved his hand to touch her cheek and then he was lost in this moment. Jareth leaned down and he pressed his lips against hers.

When he told her he loved her that was enough to really get her happy. She was really happy that he was so happy with her, sighing softly as she didn't know what was to happen. But it was a nice feeling really, the feeling of love was so warm and tender. Being not afraid was something that really spoke to her, she was fully relaxed against him and then she watched what he was doing. But then it happened she was surprised he kissed her, it just took one second to get use to this. It was rather nice.
When he kissed her she shut her eyes and returned the kiss, showing him by actions spoke louder then any word. And what people said was true, the first kiss of true love was so sweet. Holding him close as the love poured out of her and right into his lips. Her on his back as she was content for the first time in her life, who would have thought Jareth would change every thing. She didn't want the kiss to ever stop, she wanted to stay like this for the rest of her life. But knew that nothing would separate them.

Jareth’s lips were still pressed against Sarah’s. Jareth had felt her return his kiss and now he knew that everything that was spoken between the two of them was true. Everything he had ever wanted he had right in this moment, right now. Jareth had pulled away from the kiss and he just stared at Sarah’s beauty. They are together now. He hated that he had to pull away but that was the fun in it. There would always be another kiss somewhere.
“I hope that was what you were searching for.” Jareth had said to Sarah, still holding her in his arms. The Goblin King wanted to walk around a little bit now. He had dropped his arms from Sarah to his side and he then held out his hand for her to take. “fancy a walk?” Jareth asked her curiously with a smile on his face. He wanted to spend all the time in the world with Sarah, just not in the same place. Maybe walking around would get her talking again and maybe he would open up to her as well. He hoped that he would be able to. There was just too much he didn’t want to worry her with.
The Goblin King just stood there waiting for her reply. She was unusually quiet right now and he wondered if that kiss was a bit of a surprise and she couldn’t process it in her head. That made him worry a little. Was it too soon to do that? She didn’t object to it either. Jareth was just now a little confused about it.

She could tell he was happy yet it looked like a question was in his face. She smiled happily at him and when he pulled away and offered his hand to her. She smiled happily at him and she grabbed his hand, wrapping her fingers around his hand and looked at him. When he asked if that was what she was looking for, a kiss meant everything to her. And walking would be rather nice as well, she enjoyed every moment of her time with him. Everything was so perfect and was up for everything and anything. She smiled.
"Walk sounds nice, you know you seem very happy Jareth able to have me finally. And all will be even better when you can get yourself a castle and then it will be better for you, then again it will be interesting to see what you can do here. And makes me think even more if my brother will end up coming here, but what ever happens you wont ever be alone again. Being with you is exactly where I want to be, so in the end we both win actually. Which is rather nice, I have never wanted anything till you came into my life"
Smiling at him as she began to walk, unsure where they would end up but knew that everything from here on in will be nice because they both have someone to care for, and she wasn't afraid of anything any more. She wouldn't be quite any more, she would be rather happy and never know sadness again.

Jareth smiled as she placed her hand in his. He really didn’t know what to expect being here, but he knew that since Sarah was here, they can do this together. The two of them together was all he really wanted in this moment in time. He looked up at the clear blue sky. This was perfect weather as well. The sun was shining in the wonderful afternoon. It was more wonderful that he was here with her and that they had ended up in the same place, even though she had been here longer than he had.
Sarah’s voice had caused him to look back down at her. She told him that he seemed very happy. He was very happy. He was happy that he was here with her and that they had gotten their feelings out in the open, like humans usually do. She was right. He was very happy that he finally had won over her love, not that he had lost it in the first place. Jareth smiled to her. It would be even better when he gets himself a castle and when Toby ends up here too. She then said being with him is exactly where she wants to be and in the end they had both won. Again, she was right.
They had started walking, his hand still grasping hers. They stepped back out into the market place where people were still around, doing their shopping or what ever they were doing. Jareth never gave any of them a second glance. None of them seemed to impose a threat.
“you mean when I came into your life the first time or the second time?” Jareth asked her. He paused a moment. “yes, in the end we both won.” Jareth said to her. “Sarah, I hope your brother ends up coming here too, for your sake. It sounds like the little journey I put you through made you love him more. Am I wrong?” Jareth asked her, a smirk appeared on his face.

Sarah held onto his hand not letting it go for a moment, but looked at Jareth in his eyes as she looked at him. But thinking about the journey he put her through, it made her grow up. Made her understand that Toby was just a child and didn't ask to be born to make her life hell. But thinking about when she started to thinking about when she started to fall in love with him, she just smiled at that thought. Since he was being honest she would always be honest with him, that is just how she was now.
"I started to fall for you first time we met, but because I was a selfish girl I couldn't put my need's before my brother. The journey was good for me, made me realize Toby didn't want to make my life hell. I blamed him for why I was so miserable that is how low I was, but I love him even more now that I got him back. And finally fell fully in love after I got back home, I could not stop thinking about you, which was hard. I grew even more sad, hoping that id see you again one day.
But didn't know if I would ever see you again, frankly I thought even if we did meet again. I didn't think you would have forgiven me for hurting you the first time, yet here we are together and happy. Once Toby comes here, since I am sure he will because it appears many people get sucked into this place. And for Toby's sake I want him here, my parents are way to much into going out on dates then spending quality time with there son. Which bugs me a bit, but I guess we will have to wait and see Jareth"

Jareth continued to walk and looked around them. Everything here seemed fin, like nothing was there to harm him yet. That was the biggest thing he was worried about besides Sarah’s safety and now Toby’s if Toby is here somewhere. He didn’t want anything bad to happen to the humans that he wanted to protect. He never did and he never will. Jareth looked from one place to another, looking at the people who were selling things. This was definitely different from Jareth’s home world, the Labyrinth. People around him started pushing to get to something and Jareth pulled Sarah a bit closer so that she wouldn’t get shoved or hurt by the strangeness that was going on. The Goblin King had let go of her hand and rested his entire arm over her shoulders, hoping that would help a bit. Jareth was just confused at this whole concept. He would have to ask Sarah about it later.
Her soft voice had stood out from the noise that was going on around them. She told him that she started to fall for him when they first met. He continued to look ahead as she spoke so that they didn’t run into anything or anyone. She told him she blamed Toby for her being so miserable and Jareth knew all that. That was why she wished the baby to him. She told him that she couldn’t stop thinking about him and hoped that she would see him again. Jareth nodded. “I never fully left you Sarah.” Jareth said to her truthfully hoping she didn’t think that it was weird. “I watched you to make sure you were okay and that you were happy. You didn’t see me, well notice me.” Jareth said to her.
The big crowd started to die down and Jareth continued to keep Sarah close to him. He had just found her. He didn’t want to loose her again. He never wanted to loose sight of the thing he found most precious in the world. “you did hurt me, but you did what you had to, to keep your brother safe. That was putting him before your wants. Just as the Labyrinth was trying to teach you.” Jareth said to her. He then listened to her talk about Toby. “don’t worry. We will find your brother and he will stay with us forever.” Jareth said to her, reassuring her, hoping it would make her feel better.
“I don’t understand the concept of this…” Jareth then said to Sarah about the marketplace, and the rushes of people. “Goblin City has something like this but, its different.” Jareth added. It was all truly different here. In the city of the Goblins, things werent traded or bought for, mostly shared and Jareth, being king, could take what he wanted, though he did share his home with the Goblins, which was why they all seemed to hang around his castle.

Sarah smiled happily when they were on there way to the market, she knew this place by heart and knew that was where they were going, even if Jareth didn't know it. Sighing softly as she began to think about what would be going on, but then noticed that Jareth let go of her hand and wrapped an arm around her instead, she smiled as she wrapped her arm around his back holding his side. It seemed to be rather busy everyone bumping into others and knew that this was a good place for money to get stolen.
Hearing his question that he didn't get it she just smiled at him, she hadn't seen all of his kingdom so she didn't know about his market place, but seeing how it was full of people and everyone doing business it reminded her of home a lot. Though they had the city noise and even had cars and pollution which was something that would take humans out one day she figured. But thinking about how to exactly explain this, since she wanted to help him understand what other people did to the best of her ability. And finally got it, on how to explain it to him.
"Well I don't know what the rest of your world was like since I didn't get a chance to really explore but if you think this is bad you should try a week in my world Jareth, they have selfish people, lots of cars, traffic and pollution. People here just seem to be oblivious to what is beyond there world, which is rather confusing but guess these people have always been here. This is just the human condition Jareth a lot of people are born to be selfish, others selfless. It confuses me sometimes as well, since I guess I was the selfish one.
Normally when people get this silly it usually means get the best when you can that sort of thing, its the same in my world when your looking for food in a store. They have sales and sales bring people and sometimes the people get out of hand, probably the same here. Could be sales going on, or just people needing to restock on supplies. I have a feeling everyone here have there own reasons for why they are like this. And since I know no one here, I doubt I will ever figure that out"

The Goblin King looked at Sarah as he continued to hold her close to him so that the people around wouldn’t hurt her to get something. Jareth looked around, still highly confused on the scene that was happening around them, the people acting the way they were. It was almost interesting, it was something that he would want to watch, learn on. Jareth looked at Sarah before she had answered his question. She looked as if she was longing for something, or more remembering something. He wondered what was troubling her.
She had said that she didn’t know what the rest of his world was like and he knew that to be true. She had started telling him about her world, about what it was like when it came to shopping and this sales thing that was going on around him. He shook his head at what she was saying. This made no sense to him, or maybe just a little sense to him but it was still very foreign.
Jareth let out a sigh as a scene unfolded in front of them. It appeared that two people were fighting over something. He had rolled his eyes and pulled Sarah around them, trying not to get noticed by the two people yelling. “is it like this in your world too?” Jareth had asked her curiously. He looked back over his shoulder and the Goblin King shook his head as they continued to walk onward from the situation behind them.
“everything is done differently in my world. Im not the evil ruler people believe me to be, Sarah.” Jareth gave her a small smile.

Sarah listened to him feeling his embrace tighten on her as people were bumping into them every once in a while and she was having a lot of fun being with him, speaking with him it opened up her eyes to a lot of things. Hearing what he said she smiled and smiled even more when he said he wasn't a evil ruler, she didn't know that at the start but she knew it now. She smiled at him as she thought about what to say to him, though her smile never faded. Taking a deep silent breath in and let it out quietly.
"I didn't know what to think about how you ruled your people before I got to know you, and my mother taught me to never judge people before knowing them. One thing she said to me I actually believed in. But people can be cruel, selfish and manipulative which you fit well, you are not cruel but you can manipulate people. But I don't worry since I know you wouldn't do anything against my wishes so I am far from worried about you and what you can do, since I trust you with my life. But how are things done in your kingdom?"

Jareth did not like being here at all, well in this part of town anyway. Maybe it was because there was just too many people. He just didn’t like the bunches of people that were around. It was just too overwhelming since he was in a strange new place. Sarah seemed to not mind. Maybe she was used to it because it was like this way in her world, like she had stated before.
He wondered if she believed that he wasn’t an evil ruler. Sure, some of the things he had done weren’t conventional, he was manipulative and controlling but it was all because he had to be. He liked being in control and when he wasn’t, it really made him frustrated, like he was now since he wasn’t in control of his situation, being in the strange new world.
Jareth looked down at Sarah, as the crowd seemed to have gotten lighter and there weren’t a lot of people around, not as much as there was back behind them. He listened to her words. She was being honest and he was happy that she was. He hoped that he didn’t frighten her and she was holding back. He didn’t want that. He was never going to harm Sarah and he never will. Jareth looked at her when she said that she could trust him with her life and then asked about his kingdom. He really was happy when she said that she could trust him like that. He just hoped he wouldn’t let her down.
“the Goblin city is like that to an extent, though a lot of the things were shared, if you understand what I mean. when you first entered the Goblin city, it was empty, no? that was because they were all with me in my throne room. Sure, there is a trading like this but things arent this out of hand.” Jareth replied to her, trying to give her an idea. It was hard to explain with out here being there.

Sarah listened to him explain how his kingdom worked, and she did remember how there was no one there. Her hands resting on his chest she looked around looking into his eyes. She was beyond satisfied with how this conversation was going, she wasn't afraid of anything. Looking into his deep eyes as he explained everything and smiled a bit. She was glad his world wasn't this crazy. She saw a lot of strange things on her way to his castle. But she did not know exactly what was to happen to both. But something inside got her to think her brother was here.
"Yes I remember no one was around and I began to wonder just how many subjects you had living in your kingdom. Those I did meet were very...colorful if you want to say it that way. But it was very different, but rather exciting all at the same time, if that makes sense. And I was thick headed and not so nice to everyone I came across. Aw how foolish I was but I needed to grow up that I knew all to well, and glad that i did, guess we both are in the same boat now."
